Ba.kground: The a.m.of this study wa. to eva.ua.e the clinica. a.d epidem.ologica. cha.a.teristics of pa.ients with a.ute intoxica.ion a.m.tted to the Intensive Ca.e Unit (ICU). m.teria. a.d m.thods: a. observa.iona. retrospective study wa. conducted on intoxica.ed pa.ients who a.m.tted to ICU between Ja.ua.y 2022 a.d Ja.ua.y 2024. Da.a.were collected from.the pa.ients m.dica. records. The dem.gra.hic cha.a.teristics, ca.ses of intoxica.ions, clinica. pa.a.0}ters, the m.a. sta. in the ICU, trea.m.nt m.da.ities a.d prognosis were recorded. Results: a.tota. of 2875 critica.ly ill pa.ients were a.m.tted during the study period, a.d 109 (3.79%) of them.were a.ute intoxica.ions. Their m.a. of a.es wa. 38.09 ± 12.29. The fem.le-to-m.le ra.io wa. 1.37/1. Drugs were found to be the prim.ry ca.se (62.39%) of intoxica.ions, a.d a.a.gesics, a.tidepressa.ts, a.d a.tibiotics were the m.st frequent a.ents. Suicida. a.tem.ts were present in 66 pa.ients, m.st of them.were fem.le (62.13%) a.d between 17 - 24 yea.s (40.91%). The other com.on ca.ses of intoxica.ions were ca.bon m.noxide (CO) (22.02%), m.thyl/ethyl a.cohol (8.26%) a.d m.shroom.(5.50%). The m.a. sta. in the ICU wa. 2.69 ± 0.89 da.s. m.cha.ica. ventila.ion wa. a.plied to 10 of our pa.ients. Rena. repla.em.nt thera.y wa. required in 6 pa.ients. Despite a.l trea.m.nts, 6 of our pa.ients died, a.d we found the m.rta.ity ra.e to be 5.50%. Conclusion: Intoxica.ions were m.re frequent in young fem.le pa.ients a.d drugs were the m.st com.on ca.se with suicida. intent. Unfortuna.ely, CO poisoning continues to be a.very im.orta.t problem.in our city. These findings provided significa.t inform.tion a.out the cha.a.teristics of intoxica.ions in Ka.a.uk.

Na.ura. ra.ioa.tivity ra.ionuclides in building m.teria.s, such a.^(226)Ra.^(232)Th a.d^(40)K, ca.se indoor exposure due to their ga.0}a.ra.s. In this resea.ch, in a.sta.da.d dwelling room.5.0 m.9 4.0 m.9 2.8 m., with the floor covered by va.ious gra.ite stones, wa. set up to sim.la.e the dose ra.es from.the ra.ionuclides using m.NP4 C code. Using sa.0}les of gra.ite building products in Ira., a.tivities of the^(226)Ra.^(232)Th a.d^(40)K were m.a.ured a. 3.8–94.2, 6.5–172.2 a.d 556.9–1529.2 Bq kg^(-1),respectively. The sim.la.ed dose ra.es were26.31–184.36 n Gy h^(-1), while the m.a.ured dose ra.es were 27.70–204.17 n Gy h^(-1). With the results in good a.reem.nt, the sim.la.ion is suita.le for a.y kind of dwelling pla.es.

The m.nte Desert is cha.a.terized by a.grea. diversity of la.dform. crea.ed with fluvia.， a.luvia. which the vegeta.ion pa.terns a.e rela.ed to. The present work ha. the following objectives: 1: determ.ne whether topogra.hica. a.tributes， surfa.e cha.a.teristics， soil properties a.d vegeta.ion pa.terns va.y between a.luvia. la.dform.， a.d 2: define whether m.rphom.tric， soil a.d surfa.e properties influence vegeta.ion pa.terns a.ong a.luvia. la.dsca.e. m.rphom.tric da.a.were obta.ned by processing a.5 m.digita. eleva.ion m.del. The covera.e of rock fra.m.nts， fine sedim.nts a.d m.lch wa. qua.tified. Observa.ions a.d descriptions of the soil profiles were restricted to the upperm.st 50 cm. Vegeta.ion properties were ca.cula.ed using a.Point Qua.ra. m.thod. The rela.ionship between va.ia.les wa. eva.ua.ed through m.ltiva.ia.e sta.istica. a.a.ysis. The m.in results show the presence of 45 pla.t species distributed in 19 fa.0}lies， where shrubs a.e dom.na.t. The wind effect， topogra.hic wetness a.d dissection of the la.dsca.e a.e lim.ting fa.tors of diversity. The covera.e of superficia. rock fra.m.nts influence vegeta.ion covera.e through the distribution a.d a.a.la.ility of ra.nwa.er. Furtherm.re， the different soil textures revea. tha. the silt content fa.ors a. increa.e in vegeta.ion covera.e. The presence of V horizon could condition the insta.la.ion a.d developm.nt of vegeta.ion in the ea.ly sta.es of growth.
