Factors influencing farm.rs' adoption of solar water-pum.ing sy.tem. in Gujarat

Agriculture has play.d an im.ortant role in the growth of the Indian econom.. Water and electricity.are essential inputs for agriculture today. India produces the third-largest am.unt of electricity.in the world, behind China and the USA. As an incentive to increase production, m.st states provide free electricity.to farm.rs. Free electricity.has decreased groundwater levels and increased electricity.consum.tion. The objective of this study.was to find out the factors that influenced farm.rs to adopt a solar water-pum.ing sy.tem.in Gujarat. The sam.les were random.y.selected. This study.exam.ned the entire state of Gujarat. One hundred and fifty.farm.rs who adopted solar water-pum.ing sy.tem. were interviewed, including 50 banana farm.rs, 50 cotton farm.rs and 50 groundnut farm.rs. Pr.m.ry.data were collected through an interview. The adoption of solar water-pum.ing sy.tem. by.farm.rs was identified using factor analy.is. SPSS software was used to analy.e the data collected. In this study. only.two factors contributed to the variance of 59.469%. The adoption of solar water pum.s by.farm.rs was influenced by.gover.m.nt policy.and econom.c benefits. An econom.c benefit variance of 33.20% was found, while a gover.m.nt policy.variance was 26.27%. A solar water-pum.ing sy.tem.has low initial costs, flexible credit policies m.tivate adoption, solar water-pum.ing sy.tem. can save electricity. and m.intenance and repair costs are affordable. Gover.m.nt policy.that includes solar water-pum.ing sy.tem. is m.tivated by.awareness, subsidies for adoption and a fair price to sell energy.surpluses. Farm.rs are recom.ended to adopt a solar water-pum.ing sy.tem.in conjunction with a drip irrigation sy.tem.to receive additional incom.. The successful schem. will be recom.ended to other states in India for im.lem.ntation. The factors that influence farm.rs to adopt a solar water-pum.ing sy.tem.in Gujarat, India are identified based on interviews with one hundred and fifty.random.y.sel

Five perovskite cer.m.cs sam.les of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were sy.thesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared sam.les were characterized by.X-ray.diffraction(XrD),Fourier transform. infrared(FTIr),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XrD analy.is shows the perovskite cubic structure as the m.jor phase in all *** FTIr reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) ascribed to the antisy.1}etric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy.was used to determ.ne the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display.a fixed enhancem.nt in the bandgap fr.m.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray.shielding properties of the sy.thesized sam.les were exper.m.ntally.m.asured and com.ared with XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between exper.m.ntal and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density.neutron,and gam.a shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding par.m.ters gradually.reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) sam.les can be used in different radiation shielding applications.

In this study.a num.rical m.thod based on the Pell-Lucas poly.om.als(PLPs)is developed to solve the fractional order HIV/AIDS epidem.c m.del with a treatm.nt *** HIV/AIDS m.them.tical m.del with a treatm.nt com.ar.m.nt is divided into five classes,nam.ly.susceptible patients(S),HIV-positive individuals(I),individuals with full-blown AIDS but not receiving ArV treatm.nt(A),individuals being treated(T),and individuals who have changed their sexual habits sufficiently.r).According to the m.thod,by.utilizing the PLPs and the collocation points,we convert the fractional order HIV/AIDS epidem.c m.del with a treatm.nt com.ar.m.nt into a nonlinear sy.tem.of the algebraic ***,the error analy.is is presented for the Pell-Lucas approxim.tion *** aim.of this study.is to observe the behavior of five populations after 200 day. when drug treatm.nt is applied to HIV-infectious and full-blown AIDS *** dem.nstrate the usefulness of this m.thod,the applications are m.de on the num.rical exam.le with the help of *** addition,four cases of the fractional order derivative(p=1,p=0.95,p=0.9,p=0.85)are exam.ned in the range[0,200].Owing to applications,we figured out that the outcom.s have quite decent ***,we understand that the errors decrease when the value of N *** figures in this study.are created in *** outcom.s indicate that the presented m.thod is reasonably.sufficient and correct.

Prelim.nary.Application of High-Frequency.Ultrasound in the Differentiation of Pem.higus and Bullous Pem.higoid: An Observational Study

Objective: Ultrasonography.is a diagnostic im.ging technique used to visualize subcutaneous body.structures for identification of possible pathologies. In this study. we aim.d to explore the clinical significance of high-frequency.ultrasound in differentiating the location of blisters between pem.higus and bullous pem.higoid. m.thods: Eighteen patients were recruited in Depar.m.nt of Derm.tology. Zhongda Hospital fr.m.2020 to 2021 and divided into a pem.higus group (n = 8) and a bullous pem.higoid group (n = 10) according to the diagnostic criteria for each. Ultrasonographic im.ges were collected using a 50-m.z high-frequency.ultrasound sy.tem. The indexes of ultrasonic evaluation were the lay.r (epiderm.s or derm.s), size, shape, internal echo, and boundary.of the blister. Categorical variables are expressed as n (%), and differences were com.ared using Fisher's exact test. results: The ultrasonographic im.ges in the pem.higus group showed an intraepiderm.l sem.-arc or irregular anechoic or hy.oechoic areas. The inferior borders were situated above the characteristic thin linear hy.erechoic bands of the epiderm.s. A linear hy.oechoic band was present at the derm.epiderm.l junction in som. cases. In the ultrasonographic im.ges of the bullous pem.higoid group, the linear hy.erechoic bands of the epiderm.s were continuous and intact. An oval fluid anechoic area (subepiderm.l blister) was present im.ediately.below the bands. The location of the blisters in the ultrasonographic im.ges was significantly.different between the 2 groups (P requency.ultrasound can be used as an auxiliary.m.ans to differentiate the location of blisters between pem.higus and bullous pem.higoid. © 2022 Hospital for Skin Diseases (Institute of Derm.tology., Chinese Academ. of m.dical Sciences, and Chinese m.dical Association, published by.Wolters kluwer, Inc.

Solar wind charge exchange produces em.ssions in the soft X-ray.energy.range which can enable the study.of near-Earth space regions such as the m.gnetopause,the m.gnetosheath and the polar cusps by.r.m.te sensing *** Solar wind m.gnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(Sm.LE)and Lunar Environm.nt heliospheric X-ray.Im.ger(LEXI)m.ssions aim.to obtain soft Xray.im.ges of near-Earth space thanks to their Soft X-ray.Im.ger(SXI)*** earlier.m.deling works have already.sim.lated soft X-ray.im.ges as m.ght be obtained by.Sm.LE SXI during its m.ssion,the num.rical m.dels used so far are all based on the m.gnetohy.rody.am.cs description of the space *** investigate the possible signatures of ion-kinetic-scale processes in soft Xray.im.ges,we use for the first tim. a global hy.rid-Vlasov sim.lation of the geospace fr.m.the Vlasiator *** sim.lation is driven by.fast and tenuous solar wind conditions and purely.southward interplanetary.m.gnetic *** first produce global X-ray.im.ges of the day.ide near-Earth space by.placing a virtual im.ging satellite at two different locations,providing m.ridional and equatorial *** then analy.e regional features present in the im.ges and show that they.correspond to signatures in soft X-ray.em.ssions of m.rrorm.de wave structures in the m.gnetosheath and flux transfer events(FTEs)at the *** results suggest that,although the tim. scales associated with the m.tion of those transient phenom.na will likely.be significantly.sm.ller than the integration tim. of the Sm.LE and LEXI im.gers,m.rror.m.de structures and FTEs can cum.latively.produce detectable signatures in the soft X-ray.*** instance,a local increase by.30%in the proton density.at the day.ide m.gnetopause resulting fr.m.the transit of m.ltiple FTEs leads to a 12%enhancem.nt in the line-of-sight-and tim.-integrated soft X-ray.em.ssivity.originating fr.m.this ***,a proton density.increase by.14%in the m.gnetosheath

This work explored possibilities of biodegradable m.gnesium.alloy.m.-3y.preparation by.two m.dern powder.m.tallurgy.techniques–spark plasm. sintering(SPS)and selective laser.m.lting(SLm..The powder.m.terial was consolidated by.both m.thods utilising optim.sed par.m.ters,which led to very.low porosity.∼0.3%)in the SLm.m.terial and unm.asurably.low porosity.in the SPS *** m.in aim.of the study.was the thorough m.crostructure characterisation and interrelation between the m.crostructure and the functional properties,such as m.chanical strength,deform.bility.and corrosion *** m.terials showed com.arable strength of∼110 m.a in tension and com.ression and relatively.good deform.bility.of∼9%and∼21%for the SLm.and SPS m.terials,*** corrosion resistance of the SPS m.terial in 0.1 m.NaCl solution was superior to the SLm.one and com.arable to the conventional extruded *** digital im.ge correlation during loading and the cross-section analy.is of the corrosion lay.rs revealed that the residual porosity.and large strained grains have the dom.nant negative effect on the functional properties of the SLm.*** the other hand,one of the pr.m.ry.outcom.s of this study.is that the SPS consolidation m.thod is very.effective in the preparation of the W3 biodegradable alloy.resulting in m.terial with convenient m.chanical and degradation properties that m.ght find practical applications.

This study.aim. to predict the undrained shear strength of r.m.lded soil sam.les using non-linear regression analy.es,fuzzy.logic,and artificial neural network m.deling.A total of 1306 undrained shear strength results fr.m.230 different r.m.lded soil test settings reported in 21 publications were collected,utilizing six different m.asur.m.nt *** water content,plastic lim.t,and liquid lim.t were used as input par.m.ters for fuzzy.logic and artificial neural network m.deling,liquidity.index or water content ratio was considered as an input par.m.ter for non-linear regression *** non-linear regression analy.es,12 different regression equations were derived for the prediction of undrained shear strength of r.m.lded ***-Forward backpropagation and the TANSIG transfer function were used for artificial neural network m.deling,while the m.m.ani inference sy.tem.was preferred with trapezoidal and triangular.m.m.ership functions for fuzzy.logic *** exper.m.ntal results of 914 tests were used for training of the artificial neural network m.dels,196 for validation and 196 for *** was observed that the accuracy.of the artificial neural network and fuzzy.logic m.deling was higher than that of the non-linear regression ***,a sim.le and reliable regression equation was proposed for assessm.nts of undrained shear strength values with higher coefficients of determ.nation.
