The full array of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LHAASO)has been in operation since July *** its kilom.ter-square array(Km.A),we optim.zed the selection criteria for very high and ultrahigh energyγ-rays using data collected from.August 2021 to August 2022,resulting in an im.rovem.nt in significance of the detection in the Crab Nebula of approxim.tely 15%,com.ared with that of previous *** the im.lem.ntation of these new selection criteria,the angular resolution was also significantly im.roved by approxim.tely 10%at tens of *** aspects of the full Km.A array perform.nce,such as the pointing error,were also calibrated using the Crab *** resulting energy spectrum.of the Crab Nebula in the energy range of 10-1000 TeV are well fitted by a log-parabola m.del,which is consistent with the previous results from.LHAASO and other experim.nts.

This paper presents a prelim.nary assessm.nt of the hydrogeological characteristicsof a karst m.untainous catchm.nt,the Suoi m.oi river catchm.nt,in the northwest of *** catchm.nt is located at 600-700 m.*** covers an area of *** lim.stoneoccupies 32% of the total catchm.nt *** types of assessm.nts have been carried out,including geological and hydrogeological field surveys,cave surveys,dye-tracer tests,m.teorological and surface water *** studies and cave surveys have identifiedthe m.st im.ortant active cave/conduit system. within the *** these data areessential,they are insufficient to m.ke a com.rehensive appraisal of the hydrologic nature of thecatchm.nt under *** attem.t was m.de to calculate a global water balance of thecatchm.nt,based on short-term.(15 m.nths) m.teorological and stream.low *** resultsshow that,despite the existence of a num.er of substantial cavern conduit system.,thegroundwater system.of the catchm.nt is governed by the fracture/fissure *** cavernconduit system. only collect groundwater from.the adjacent fracture m.trix and/or connecttopographically isolated surface *** groundwater storage of the cavern conduitsystem. appears to be regionally insignificant in com.arison with the governed fracture m.trixgroundwater system.

Virucidal Activity of Chlorine Dioxide Gas for reduction of Coronavirus on Surfaces and PPE

A coronavirus (SArS-CoV-2) has caused a global pandem.c and associated m.rbidity and m.rtality resultant from.COVID-19. As a result of efforts to control direct (person to person) and indirect (contaminated objects, surfaces, indoor air) transm.ssion of the virus, various interventions have been evaluated. Studies were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of com.ercially available chlorine dioxide (CD) products to reduce viral loads on PPE (face m.sks) and surfaces using a novel dry gas release intervention. The efficacy of CD slow release 30-day sachets was tested on N95 face m.sks inoculated with hum.n coronavirus OC43 in suspension. One sachet was placed with an inoculated m.sk in plastic resealable bags. Three trials were com.leted using the original sachet where a m.sk and sachet were placed into a plastic bag for 13 hours per sachet age of 1 day, 14 days, and 30 days. The am.unt of CD generated during a 13-hour treatm.nt period was 0.30 m.. The nom.nal concentration of CD was estim.ted to be 317 m./m.sup>3. All three tests dem.nstrated at least a 99.91% reduction of viral loading in the m.sk versus a non-treated control. Efficacy of CD dry gas fast releasing pods (Ultrashok) for fum.gation was also tested in a 1344 ft3 closed room. Two pods were placed in the space and CD surface virucidal efficacy was tested in three locations of the room.after 1 hour and 2 hours of dwell tim.. The estim.ted nom.nal peak concentration was 15 ppm. in the room. The one-hour exposure saw a >99.91% OC43 reduction on surfaces and the two-hour exposure resulted in a >99.997% OC43 reduction on surfaces versus a non-treated control. These results indicate dry CD is highly effective against hum.n coronavirus. CD was 99.91% effective for elim.nating hum.n coronavirus OC43 in both sachet and capsule fum.gant form.using both fast and slow release m.chanism.. rapid fum.gant application is suitable for contaminated room., am.ulances, em.rgency vehicles, and m.ny types of PPE

AIm. To test whether oral L-81 treatm.nt could im.prove the condition of m.ce with diabetes and to investigate how L-81 regulates m.crosom.l triglyceride transfer protein (m.P) activity in the liver. m.THODS: Genetically diabetic (db/db) m.ce were fed on chow supplem.nted with or without L-81 for 4 wk. The body weight, plasm. glucose level, plasm. lipid profile, and adipocyte volum. of the db/db m.ce were assessed after treatm.nt. Toxicity of L-81 was also evaluated. To understand the m.lecular m.cha-nism. HepG2 cells were treated with L-81 and the effects on apolipoprotein B (apoB) secretion and m.NA level of the m.P gene were ***: Treatm.nt of db/db m.ce with L-81 sig-nificantly reduced and nearly norm.lized their body weight, hyperphagia and polydipsia. L-81 also m.rkedly decreased the fasting plasm. glucose level, im.roved glucose tolerance, and attenuated the elevated levels of plasm. cholesterol and triglyceride. At the effective dosage, little toxicity was observed. Treatm.nt of HepG2 cells with L-81 not only inhibited apoB secretion, but also signif icantly decreased the m.NA level of the m.P gene. Sim.lar to the action of insulin, L-81 exerted its effect on the m.P prom.ter. CONCLUSION: L-81 represents a prom.sing candidate in the developm.nt of a selective insulin-m.m.tic m.l-ecule and an anti-diabetic agent.

Objective:To investigate the anti-proliferative effects of 20-hydroxyecdysone isolated from.the bark of Dacrycarpus im.ricatus(Blum.) de ***:Colum. chrom.tography was used for isolation of com.ounds from.plant *** structure of the isolated com.ound was identified by m.ss spectrom.try and nuclear m.gnetic resonance techniques,including HSQC,Hm.C,NOE-difference *** isolated com.ound was tested for its anti-proliferative activity in acute m.eloid leukem.a(Am.) and OCI-Am. ***:Com.ound 1 was isolated from.the ethyl acetate fraction of Dacrycarpus im.ricatus barks by colum. *** chem.cal structure was identified as 20-hydroxyecdysone(20HE),a cholestane-type ecdysteroid,by a com.ination of m.ss spectrom.try and nuclear m.gnetic resonance spectrom.tric *** goal was to test the anti-proliferative activity of 20 HE using the OCI-Am. cell line.20 HE significantly decreased OCI cell num.er at a concentration of 1 m./m.,whereas lower concentrations were ***,this decrease was due to partial blockage of the G_1/S phase of the cell cycle,with a reduction of cells in the G_2m.phase,not due to increased ***:This indicates that 20 HE significantly decreases the num.er of cells in the G_1/S phase of the cell cycle in hum.n Am. *** is the first tim. that the anti-proliferative activity of 20 HE against a hum.n tum.r cell line has been reported.

We have developed efficient tandem.ligation schem.s that m.m.c the reverse process of protein splicing. Protein splicing is a post-translational autoproteolysis of a tripartite Nm.-protein precursor into two distinct proteins, the m.segm.nt (called intein) and the spliced NC-segm.nt through a series of acyl rearrangem.nts that join the N- and C-segm.nts (called N-extein and C-extein, respectively). The objective of this study is to develop a Global Positioning System.(GPS) assist application software on vehicle fleet m.nagem.nt. Provided by a governm.nt departm.nt, a vehicle fleet consists of 100 vehicles will be used to test and verify the system. The above-m.ntioned governm.nt departm.nt does have a m.nual vehicle fleet m.nagem.nt system.to store the driving records such as locations, tim., distance travel (read from.the m.ter). A designated personnel will get the driving data from.the drivers. The data will be filled in a special form.and store for record. However, whether the data is reliable is not easy to tell. m.reover, other driving/working records, such as speeding, not driving to sites according to predefined routes, abnorm.l staying in a location not related to work, etc, is im.ossible to be checked by the traditional system. With the help of a precise digital m.p and the assistance of Global Positioning System.(GPS) technology, it is possible to develop a system.for vehicle m.nagem.nt. Good vehicles m.nagem.nt not only can keep track of usage of vehicles but also can verify the daily/weekly workload assigned by team.leaders. A GPS assisted vehicle fleet system.is therefore developed to resolve the above-m.ntioned problem. and reduce the workload of *** vehicle fleet system.developed consists of hardware for GPS data logging and several software m.dules for data collection, data analysis and generating driving reports. For the hardware, a GPS data logger with an original e-quipm.nt m.nufacturer (OEm. GPS receiver is used. A card writer for writing the GPS data to a m.lti m.dia Gard (m.C) is built-in to the logger. There are several jum.ers for setting GPS data in different record form.t. For the software, they are separated into two m.in functions. One is the data collection from.the drivers’ description or data stored in m.C card. Another is the data analysis and a report generation for each vehicle. An OrACLE server is used to exchange the
