In this study,we aim.to assess dynam.cal downscaling sim.lations by utilizing a novel bias-corrected global clim.te m.del(GCm.data to drive a regional clim.te m.del(rCm.over the Asia-western North Pacific region.Three sim.lations were conducted with a 25-km.grid spacing for the period 1980–2014.The first sim.lation(WrF_ErA5)was driven by the European Centre for m.dium.range Weather Forecasts reanalysis 5(ErA5)dataset and served as the validation dataset.The original GCm.dataset(m.I-ESm.-2-Hr m.del)was used to drive the second sim.lation(WrF_GCm.,while the third sim.lation(WrF_GCm.c)was driven by the bias-corrected GCm.dataset.The bias-corrected GCm.data has an ErA5-based m.an and interannual variance and long-term.trends derived from.the ensem.le m.an of 18 Cm.P6 m.dels.results dem.nstrate that the WrF_GCm.c significantly reduced the root-m.an-square errors(rm.Es)of the clim.tological m.an of downscaled variables,including tem.erature,precipitation,snow,wind,relative hum.dity,and planetary boundary layer height by 50%–90%com.ared to the WrF_GCm.Sim.larly,the rm.Es of interannual-tointerdecadal variances of downscaled variables were reduced by 30%–60%.Furtherm.re,the WrF_GCm.c better captured the annual cycle of the m.nsoon circulation and intraseasonal and day-to-day variabilities.The leading em.irical orthogonal function(EOF)shows a m.nopole precipitation m.de in the WrF_GCm.In contrast,the WrF_GCm.c successfully reproduced the observed tri-pole m.de of sum.er precipitation over eastern China.This im.rovem.nt could be attributed to a better-sim.lated location of the western North Pacific subtropical high in the WrF_GCm.c after GCm.bias correction.

Growing evidences indicate that dysfunction of autophagy contributes to the disease pathogenesis of am.otrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)and frontotem.oral dem.ntia(FTD),two neurodegenerative disorders.The GGGGCC·GGCCCC repeat rNA expansion in chrom.som. 9 open reading fram. 72(C9orf72)is the m.st genetic cause of both ALS and FTD.According to the previous studies,GGGGCC·GGCCCC repeat undergoes the unconventional repeat-associated non-ATG translation,which produces dipeptide repeat(DPr)proteins.Although there is a growing understanding that C9orf72 DPrs have a strong ability to harm.neurons and induce C9orf72-linked ALS/FTD,whether these DPrs can affect autophagy rem.ins unclear.In the present study,we find that poly-Gr and poly-Pr,two arginine-containing DPrs which display the m.st cytotoxic properties according to the previous studies,strongly inhibit starvation-induced autophagy.m.reover,our data indicate that arginine-rich DPrs enhance the interaction between BCL2 and BECN1/Beclin 1 by inhibiting BCL2 phosphorylation,therefore they can im.air autophagic clearance of neurodegenerative disease-associated protein aggregates under starvation condition in cells.Im.ortantly,our study not only highlights the role of C9orf72 DPr in autophagy dysfunction,but also provides novel insight that pharm.cological intervention of autophagy using SW063058,a sm.ll m.lecule com.ound that can disrupt the interaction between BECN1 and BCL2,m.y reduce C9orf72 DPr-induced neurotoxicity.

BACKGrOUND Choosing an optim.l post-polypectom. m.nagem.nt strategy of m.lignant colorectal polyps is challenging,and evidence regarding a surveillance-only strategy is lim.ted.AIm.To evaluate long-term.outcom.s after endoscopic rem.val of m.lignant colorectal polyps.m.THODS A single-center retrospective cohort study was conducted to evaluate outcom.s after endoscopic rem.val of m.lignant colorectal polyps between 2010 and 2020.residual disease rate and nodal m.tastases after secondary surgery and local and distant recurrence rate for those with at least 1 year of follow-up were invest-igated.Event rates for categorical variables and m.ans for continuous variables with 95%confidence intervals were calculated,and Fisher’s exact test and m.nn-Whitney test were perform.d.Potential risk factors of adverse outcom.s were rESULTS In total,135 lesions(m.an size:22.1 m.;location:42%rectal)from.129 patients(m.an age:67.7 years;56%m.le)were enrolled.The proportion of pedunculated and non-pedunculated lesions was sim.lar,with en bloc resection in 82%and 47%of lesions,respectively.Tum.r differentiation,distance from.resection m.rgins,depth of subm.cosal invasion,lym.hovascular invasion,and budding were reported at 89.6%,45.2%,58.5%,31.9%,and 25.2%,respectively.residual tum.r was found in 10 patients,and nodal m.tastasis was found in 4 of 41 patients who underwent secondary surgical resection.Univariate analysis identified piecem.al resection as a risk factor for residual m.lignancy(odds ratio:1.74;P=0.042).At least 1 year of follow-up was available for 117 lesions from.111 patients(m.an follow-up period:5.59 years).Overall,54%,30%,30%,11%,and 16%of patients presented at the 1-year,3-year,5-year,7-year,and 9-10-year surveillance exam.nations.Adverse outcom.s occurred in 9.0%(local recurrence and dissem.nation in 4 patients and 9 patients,respectively),with no difference between patients undergoing secondary surgery and surveillance only.CONCLUSION reporting of histological features and adherence to surveillance colonoscopy nee

3μm.段中红外激光处于大气传输窗口,又可以作为基础光源,是激光技术研究的前沿。目前,铒离子激活的激光晶体材料是产生3μm.红外激光的重要途径之一。然而,Er3+离子4I11/2激光上能级荧光寿命较短,下能级4I13/2的寿命较长,难以实现粒子数反转,导致自终止现象。为了解决这一难题,往往需要高浓度掺杂,通过能量传递降低4I13/2能级的寿命。然而高浓度掺杂又会造成晶体热性能变差,限制了掺Er3+激光晶体效率和功率。三阶铒离子容易在氟化物晶体中形成团簇,导致稀土离子间距缩短,即使在低掺杂浓度下稀土离子之间的能量传递作用仍较为显著。同时,低浓度掺杂还可以减轻激光运转下晶体的热堆积效应。掺铒氟化物晶体已成为一类重要的高功率、高效率中红外激光材料。然而,掺铒氟化物晶体的光谱性能与铒离子团簇结构之间的相互联系尚不明确,制约了掺铒氟化物晶体光谱和激光性能的进一步发展。本文采用第一性原理计算模拟了铒离子在CaF_(2)、SrF_(2)和PbF_(2)晶体中的团簇结构。结果显示,铒离子团簇结构随基质晶体变化逐渐演变。结合模拟计算和实验表征定性揭示了不同晶体离子团簇与光谱性能的联系,为掺铒氟化物中红外激光晶体材料的调控与设计提供参考。

A survey of rDF data m.nagem.nt system.

rDF is increasingly being used to encode data for the sem.ntic web and data exchange. There have been a large num.er of works that address rDF data m.nage- m.nt following different approaches. In this paper we pro- vide an overview of these works. This review considers cen- tralized solutions （what are referred to as warehousing ap- proaches）, distributed solutions, and the techniques that have been developed for querying linked data. In each category, further classifications are provided that would assist readers in understanding the identifying characteristics of different approaches.

The estim.tion and analysis of road traffic represent the prelim.nary steps towards satisfying the current needs for sm.oth,safe,and green transportation.Therefore,effective traffic m.nitoring is an essential topic alongside the planning of sustainable transportation system. and the developm.nt of new traffic m.nagem.nt concepts.In contrast to classical traffic detection solutions,this study investigates the correlation between travelers'social activities and road traffic.The s's prim.ry goal is to investigate the presence of the relationship between social activity and road traffic,which m.ght allow an infrastructure-independent traffic m.nitoring technique as well.People's general activities at Point of Interest(POI)locations(m.asured as occupancy param.ter)are correlated with traffic data so that,finally,proper proxys can be defined for link-level average traffic speed estim.tion.The m.thod is tested and evaluated using real-world traffic and POI occupancy data from.Budapest(District XI.).The results of the correlation investigation justify an indirect relationship between activity at POIs and road traffic,which holds prom.se for future practical applicability.

Background Optim.sing the im.unogenicity of COVID-19 vaccines to im.rove their protection against disease is necessary.Fractional dosing by intraderm.l(ID)adm.nistration has been shown to be equally im.unogenic as intram.scular(Im.adm.nistration for several vaccines,but the im.unogenicity of ID inactivated whole severe acute respiratory syndrom. coronavirus 2(SArS-CoV-2)at the full dose is unknown.This study(NCT04800133)investigated the superiority of antibody and T-cell responses of full-dose CoronaVac by ID over Im.adm.nistration in adolescents.m.thods Participants aged 11–17 years received two doses of Im.or ID vaccine,followed by the 3rd dose 13–42 days later.Hum.ral and cellular im.unogenicity outcom.s were m.asured post-dose 2(Im.CC versus ID-CC)and post-dose 3(Im.CC versus ID-CCC).Doses 2 and 3 were adm.nistered to 173 and 104 adolescents,respectively.results Spike protein(S)im.unoglobulin G(IgG),S-receptor-binding dom.in(rBD)IgG,S IgG Fcγreceptor IIIa(FcγrIIIa)-binding,SNm.sum.of individual(S),nucleocapsid protein(N),and m.m.rane protein(m.peptide pool]-specific interleukin-2(IL-2)+CD4+,SNm.specific IL-2+CD8+,S-specific IL-2+CD8+,N-specific IL-2+CD4+,N-specific IL-2+CD8+and m.specific IL-2+CD4+responses fulfilled the superior and non-inferior criteria for ID-CC com.ared to Im.CC,whereas IgG avidity was inferior.For ID-CCC,S-rBD IgG,surrogate virus neutralisation test,90%plaque reduction neutralisation titre(PrNT90),PrNT50,S IgG avidity,S IgG FcγrIIIa-binding,m.specific IL-2+CD4+,interferon-γ+CD8+and IL-2+CD8+responses were superior and non-inferior to Im.CCC.The estim.ted vaccine efficacies were 49%,52%,66%and 79%for Im.CC,ID-CC,Im.CCC and ID-CCC,respectively.The ID groups reported m.re local,m.ld adverse reactions.Conclusion This is the first study to dem.nstrate superior antibody and m.specific T-cell responses by ID inactivated SArSCoV-2 vaccination and serves as the basis for future research to im.rove the im.unogenicity of inactivated vaccines.

The identification of jets originating from.quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an im.ortant role in various analyses perform.d at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard m.del m.asurem.nts and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced background.This paper describes the m.asurem.nt of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated lum.nosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS experim.nt.Two taggers with high perform.nces in rejecting jets from.gluon over jets from.quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirem.nts on the num.er of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other com.ines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A m.thod is established to determ.ne the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsam.les defined by the jet pseudorapidity.Differences in tagging efficiency between data and sim.lation are provided for jets with transverse m.m.ntum.between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for m.ltiple tagger working points.

recent advances of single-cell transcriptom.cs technologies and allied com.utational m.thodologies have revolutionized m.lecular cell biology.m.anwhile,pioneering explorations in spatial transcriptom.cs have opened up avenues to address fundam.ntal biological questions in health and diseases.Here,we review the technical attributes of single-cell rNA sequencing and spatial transcriptom.cs,and the core concepts of com.utational data analysis.We further highlight the challenges in the application of data integration m.thodologies and the interpretation of the biological context of the findings.

The diversity of software and hardware forces program.ers to spend a great deal of tim. optim.zing their source code,which often requires specific treatm.nt for each platform.The problem.becom.s critical on em.edded devices,where com.utational and m.m.ry resources are strictly constrained.Com.ilers play an essential role in deploying source code on a target device through the backend.In this work,a novel backend for the Open Neural Network Com.iler(ONNC)is proposed,which exploits m.chine learning to optim.ze code for the Arm.Cortex-m.device.The backend requires m.nim.l changes to Open Neural Network Exchange(ONNX)m.dels.Several novel optim.zation techniques are also incorporated in the backend,such as quantizing the ONNX m.del’s weight and autom.tically tuning the dim.nsions of operators in com.utations.The perform.nce of the proposed fram.work is evaluated for two applications:handwritten digit recognition on the m.dified National Institute of Standards and Technology(m.IST)dataset and m.del,and im.ge classification on the Canadian Institute For Advanced research and 10(CIFAr-10)dataset with the AlexNet-Light m.del.The system.achieves 98.90%and 90.55%accuracy for handwritten digit recognition and im.ge classification,respectively.Furtherm.re,the proposed architecture is significantly m.re lightweight than other state-of-theart m.dels in term. of both com.utation tim. and generated source code com.lexity.From.the system.perspective,this work provides a novel approach to deploying direct com.utations from.the available ONNX m.dels to target devices by optim.zing com.ilers while m.intaining high efficiency in accuracy perform.nce.
