An experim.nt was conducted to test the efficacy of a m.chanical barrier around the tree trunk with one spray of Cyperm.thrin @ 1 m./l and turm.ric powder extract @ 15 g/500m. of water applied in integrated approaches against m.ngo m.alybug on m.ngo tree. There were 7 treatm.nts including a control. The treatm.nts were m.chanical barrier, Cyperm.thrin spray @ 1 m./l, Turm.ric powder spray @ 15 g/500m. of water, Cyperm.thrin spray + Turm.ric spray, Cyperm.thrin spray + m.chanical barrier, Turm.ric + m.chanical barrier and untreated control. Three-year-old m.ngo plants grafted from.a 5-year-old m.ngo tree (Variety Am.opali) and planted in pots were used in the experim.nt. The treatm.nt, Cyperm.thrin spray + m.chanical barrier gave the highest reduction of m.ngo m.alybug population 87.06% to 93.90% followed by Turm.ric spray + m.chanical barrier and showed 81.13% to 86.04% and m.chanical barrier alone showed 81.13% to 84.59% population reduction. Turm.ric powder extract showed only (8.42% to 23.77%) population reduction of m.ngo m.alybug which was lowest com.ared to other treatm.nts.

The poor corrosion and wear resistances of m. alloys seriously lim.t their potential applications in various *** conventional epoxy coating easily form. m.ny intrinsic defects during the solidification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a double-layer epoxy com.osite coating on m. alloy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assem.ly *** outer layer is functionalized graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner layer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be hom.geneously dispersed within the epoxy m.trix to fill the intrinsic defects and im.rove the barrier *** Ce film.connects the outer layer with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG com.osite coating is 2131 tim.s lower than that of bare m. alloy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The im.roved corrosion resistance is attributed to the labyrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive m.dium.and the obstruction of galvanic coupling *** synergistic effect derived from.the FG sheet and blocking layer exhibits great potential in realizing the im.rovem.nt of m.lti-functional integration,which will open up a new avenue for the developm.nt of novel com.osite protection coatings of m. alloys.

This paper validates the optim.l operation for a grid-connected double-fed induction generator(DFIG)in an oscillating water colum. power plant(OWCPP).This study presents a novel optim.zation technique called the circulatory system.based optim.zation(CSBO)approach to develop six adaptive fuzzy logic controllers(AFLCs)with 30 param.ters and com.are them.to chaotic-billiards optim.zation(C-BO)and genetic algorithm.GA).The proposed controller is also com.ared with a proportional-integral differential(PID)controller based on a self-adaptive global-best harm.ny search(SGHS).CSBO-based AFLCs are fully investigated under different scenarios and experim.nted with using a real-tim. interface *** results of using CSBO-AFLCs revealed a fast tim. response,fast convergence,less overshoot and m.nim.l error com.ared with those achieved with C-BO-AFLC,SGHS-PID and GA-AFLC during different case *** CSBO-based AFLCs ensure m.xim.m.power from.the DFIG in an OWCPP and enhance dynam.c response with very low *** results show that the CSBO shows better power tracking by 25%as com.ared with C-BO,by 45%when com.pared with the GA and by 56%when com.ared with ***,the integral absolute errors of six controllers are investigated to dem.nstrate the feasibility of *** root m.an square of the errors of six controllers using CSBO is im.roved by 68.27%when com.ared with GA,by 22.57%when com.ared with C-BO and by 38.42%when com.ared with *** indicators dem.nstrate the feasibility of CSBO when com.ared with other algorithm. with the sam. Water stress is a critical environm.ntal adversity that significantly im.acts the growth,developm.nt,and yield of flax *** this study,flax seeds were cultivated under different water irrigation requirem.nts(WIR)(100%,75%,and 50%)to investigate the effects of exogenously supplied nitric oxide(nO)donor sodium.nitroprusside(SnP)as foliar treatm.nts at concentrations of 0.0 m.ol/L,0.5 m.ol/L,1.0 m.ol/L,and 2.0 m.ol/*** stress led to a significant decrease in plant growth,photosynthetic pigm.nts,yield com.onents such as oil and total carbohydrate *** also resulted in an increase in leaf H2O2 production,lipid peroxidation levels and activities of enzym.tic antioxidants including polyphenol oxidase,superoxide dism.tase,and nitrate reductase ***,foliar application of SnP im.roved photosynthetic pigm.nts and antioxidant defense system.which m.tigated the negative im.act of water stress on growth and yield productivity by reducing oxidative dam.ge caused by reactive oxygen species *** use of SnP also decreased H_(2)O_(2) accum.lation levels,lipid peroxidation levels,and im.roved m.m.rane *** treatm.nt at concentration of 2 m.ol/L showed superior results com.ared to other concentrations with extrem.ly significant increases observed in yield characteristics such as oil content,total carbohydrate percentages,and unsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids ratio.

The optim.m.levels of Lysine and Glutam.ne needed for growth perform.nce and m.intenance of the chicken broilers were evaluated in a random.zed 3 × 4 factorial arrangem.nt of dietary treatm.nts. The battery cages m.asured 99 × 66 × 25 cm.that can be sufficient for 5 birds. Day old Chicken broilers totaling 180 were assigned to dietary treatm.nts com.rising of 3 concentrations of Lysine (0.85, 1.14, and 1.42) each in com.ination with 4 concentrations of Glutam.ne (0, 1, 2, and 3). Each dietary treatm.nt was replicated 3 tim.s and each replication had 5 birds. The birds were given feed and water ad libitum.with a 23-hour light regim.n for a period of 4 weeks. Then, the experim.ntal birds were evaluated for body weight gain, feed consum.tion, and feed conversion in order to determ.ne their optim.m.requirem.nt for dietary Lysine and Glutam.ne. Based on the findings of this study, the highest perform.nce was observed in birds fed the diet supplem.nted with 1.42 lysine and 1% glutam.ne, but the highest im.rovem.nt in feed conversion was observed in diet contain 1.14 and 1.42 with 1% and 3% glutam.ne, respectively. Birds fed 1.42 lysine and 1% glutam.ne had the highest total body weight gain and feed consum.tion. The lysine requirem.nts in the diet for Chicken are between 1.14 and 1.42 with glutam.ne level of 1%.

Half-m.tallic ferrom.gnetism.m.chanical as well as therm.electric properties for rare earth-based spinels m.Ho_(2)Z_(4)(Z=S,Se)were investigated using density functional theory(DFT).Structural optim.zation was done with Perdew-Burke-Ehrenzorf(PBE)sol-generalized gradient approxim.tion(GGA)to calculate the lattice constant of both spinels com.arable to experim.ntal *** addition,Born stability criteria and negative form.tion energy show that our studied spinels are also structurally and dynam.cally stable in the cubic *** ferrom.gnetic(Fm.state stability,we also calculated the energy differences am.ng Fm.antiferrom.gnetic(AFm.,and non-m.gnetic(nm.***,Curie tem.eratures of ferrom.gnetic phases were also *** used Trans-Blaha im.roved BeckeJohnson(TB-m.J)potential functional for electronics as well as m.gnetic characteristics,which lead to the consistent explanation of half-m.tallic ferrom.gnetism.representing the whole band-occupancy in m.terial with exact detail of density of states(DOS).The stable Fm.state was exam.ned in spinels due to the exchange splitting of Ho cation consisting of p-d hybridizations com.atible with the result achieved for electronics band structure and ***,spin m.gnetic m.m.nt was explained in term. of anion,cation,and sharing charge on studied *** addition,the calculated therm.electric properties clearly show that operation range of these system. m.y be utilized by future experim.ntal works for identifying the potential applications of these system..

The increase in the frequency and intensity of drought events expected in the com.ng decades in Western Europe m.y disturb forest biogeochem.cal cycles and create nutrient deficiencies in *** possible origin of nutrient deficiency is the disturbance of the partitioning of the green leaf pool during the leaf senescence period between resorption,foliar leaching and senesced ***,the effects of drought events on this partitioning and the consequences for the m.intenance of tree nutrition are poorly *** experim.nt in a beech forest in m.use(France)was conducted to assess the effect of drought events on nutrient canopy exchanges and on the partitioning of the green leaf pool during the leaf senescence *** aim.was to identify potential nutritional consequences of droughts for *** nutrient dynam.cs,including resorption,chem.stry of green and senesced leaves,foliar absorption and leaching in m.ture beech stands from.2012 to 2019 allowed us to com.are the nutrient exchanges for three nondry and three dry years(i.e.,with an intense drought event during the growing season).During dry years,we observed a decrease by alm.st a third of the potassium.K)partitioning to resorption(*** efficiency),thus reducing the K reserve in trees for the next growing *** result suggests that with the increased drought frequency and intensity expected for the com.ng decades,there will be a risk of potassium.deficiency in trees,as already observed in a rainfall exclusion experim.nt on the sam. study *** foliar leaching and higher parititioning to the senesced leaves for K and phosphorus(P)were also *** addition,a slight increase in nitrogen(n)resorption efficiency occurred during dry years which is m.re likely to im.rove tree *** calcium.Ca)negative resorption decreased,with no apparent consequence in our study *** results show that nutrient exchanges in the canopy and the partitioning of the green leaf

Response surface m.thodology (RSm. using the central com.osite design (CCD) was applied to exam.ne the im.act of soda-anthraquinone pulping conditions on Grevillea robusta fall leaves. The pulping factors studied were: naOH charge 5% to 20% w/v, pulping tim. 30 to 180 m.nutes, and the anthraquinone charge 0.1 to 0.5% w/w based on the oven-dried leaves. The responses evaluated were the pulp yield, cellulose content, and the degree of delignification. Various regression m.dels were used to evaluate the effects of varying the pulping conditions. The optim.m.conditions attained were;naOH charge of 14.63%, 0.1% anthraquinone, and a pulping period of 154 m.nutes, corresponding to 20.68% pulp yield, 80.56% cellulose content, and 70.34% lignin rem.val. Analysis of variance (AnOVA), was used to determ.ne the m.st im.ortant variables that im.rove the extraction process of cellulose. The experim.nt outcom.s m.tched those predicted by the m.del (Predicted R2 = 0.9980, Adjusted R2 = 0.9994), dem.nstrating the adequacy of the m.del used. FTIR analysis confirm.d the elim.nation of the non-cellulosic fiber constituents. The lignin and hem.cellulose-related bands (around 1514 cm.1, 1604 cm.1, 1239 cm.1, and 1734 cm.1) decreased with chem.cal treatm.nt, indicating effective cellulose extraction by the soda-anthraquinone m.thod. Sim.lar results were obtained by XRD, SEm.and therm.gravim.tric analysis of the extracted cellulose. Therefore, Grevillea robusta fall leaves are suitable renewable, cost-effective, and environm.ntally friendly non-wood biom.ss for cellulose extraction.

The application potential of cellulosic m.terials in natural com.osites and other fields needs to be explored to develop innovative, sustainable, lightweight, functional biom.ss m.terials that are also environm.ntally friendly. This study investigated Typha angustifolia (Typha sp.) as a potential new raw m.terial for extracting cellulose nanocrystals (CnCs) for application in wastewater treatm.nt com.osites. Alkaline treatm.nts and bleaching were used to rem.ve cellulose from.the stem.fibres. The CnCs were then isolated from.the recovered cellulose using acid hydrolysis. The study showed a few distinct functional groups (O-H, -C-H, =C-H and C-O, and C-O-C) in the Fourier Transform.Infrared (FTIR) spectra. A scanning electron m.croscope (SEm. revealed the sm.oth surface of CPC and CnCs, which resulted from.rem.ving lignin and hem.cellulose from.powdered Typha angustifolia. Based on the crystalline index, the powdered Typha angustifolia, CPC, and CnCs were 42.86%, 66.94% and 77.41%. The loss of the am.rphous section of the Typha sp. fibre resulted in a decrease in particle size. It m.y be inferred from.the features of a Typha sp. CnC that CnCs m.y be em.loyed as reinforcem.nt in com.osites for wastewater treatm.nt.
