Due to the im.ortance of vibration effects on the functional accuracy of m.chanical system.,this research aim. to develop a precise m.del of a nonlinearly vibrating single-link m.bile flexible *** m.nipulator consists of an elastic arm.a rotary m.tor,and a rigid carrier,and undergoes general in-plane rigid body m.tion along with elastic transverse *** accurately m.del the elastic behavior,Tim.shenko’s beam.theory is used to describe the flexible arm.which accounts for rotary inertia and shear deform.tion *** applying Newton’s second law,the nonlinear governing equations of m.tion for the m.nipulator are derived as a coupled system.of ordinary differential equations(ODEs)and partial differential equations(PDEs).Then,the assum.d m.de m.thod(Am.)is used to solve this nonlinear system.of governing equations with appropriate shape *** assum.d m.des can be obtained after solving the characteristic equation of a Tim.shenko beam.with clam.ed boundary conditions at one end and an attached m.ss/inertia at the *** addition,the effect of the transverse vibration of the inextensible arm.on its axial behavior is *** the axial rigidity,the effect m.kes the rigid body dynam.cs invalid for the axial behavior of the ***,num.rical sim.lations are conducted to evaluate the perform.nce of the developed m.del,and the results are com.ared with those obtained by the finite elem.nt *** com.arison confirm. the validity of the proposed dynam.c m.del for the *** to the m.ntioned features,this m.del can be reliable for investigating the system.s vibrational behavior and im.lem.nting vibration control algorithm..

Glyphosate Exposure Associated with Hum.n Neurodegenerative Disorders: A Scoping Review

Chem.cally engineered agricultural products such as pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides, although used considerably for both industrialized and personal agricultural use, have recently been associated with a num.er of serious hum.n health disorders. This rapid literature review aim. to accum.late and analyze research from.the last ten years, focusing specifically on the effects of exposure to glyphosate-based herbicide products such as Roundup as associated with the form.tion of various neurological disorders. Specifically, this review focuses on laboratory research using anim.l m.dels or hum.n cell cultures as well as hum.n population-based epidem.ological studies. It associates exposure to glyphosate or glyphosate-based products with the form.tion or exacerbation of neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheim.r’s disease, seizures, and autism.spectrum.disorder. In addition, it exam.nes the correlation between the gut-brain axis, exposure to glyphosate, and neurodegeneration.

Ad Blockers & Online Privacy: A Com.arative Analysis of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PET)

Online tracking m.chanism. em.loyed by internet com.anies for user profiling and targeted advertising raise m.jor privacy concerns. Despite efforts to defend against these m.chanism., they continue to evolve, rendering m.ny existing defences ineffective. This study perform. a large-scale m.asurem.nt of online tracking m.chanism. across a large pool of websites using the OpenWPm.(Open Web Privacy m.asurem.nt) platform. It system.tically evaluates the effectiveness of several ad blockers and underlying Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PET) that are prim.rily used to m.tigate different tracking techniques. By quantifying the strengths and lim.tations of these tools against m.dern tracking m.thods, the findings highlight gaps in existing privacy protections. Actionable recom.endations are provided to enhance user privacy defences, guide tool developers and inform.policym.kers on addressing invasive online tracking practices.

m.scle Strength, Lum.ar Curve, Fear of m.vem.nt and Functional Disability am.ng Patients with Lum.ar Disc Herniation: A Review

Introduction: Lum.ar disc herniation (LDH) refers to the rupture of the fibrous annulus of the intervertebral discs. Lum.ar curvature m.y lead to the occurrence of lum.ar disc degeneration. Fear of m.vem.nt m.y worsen their disc herniation and cause further pain and injury. LDH conditions im.act the individuals’ quality of life, to explore the relationship between lum.ar curve, m.scle strength, fear of m.vem.nt and functional disability am.ng patients with LDH. m.thods: An electronic search was conducted on Pubm.d, m.dline, Science Direct, Springerlink, Google Scholar and a hand search from.reference lists was reviewed. Publications were included in hum.n studies, patients 25 - 85 years of age, original studies and published in English language journals from.January 2002 to Decem.er 2023. Result: In total, 64 articles were researched through the online search engines, and 9 papers were found through m.nual searches of reference lists. As a result, a total of 11 articles were included for the purpose of this review. The com.rehensive analysis revealed the presence of eight cross-sectional studies, two retrospective studies and one experim.ntal study. A m.nim.m.of 25 participants and a m.xim.m.of 360 participants were included. Ten studies included both genders, only one studies included healthy adults and patients with LDH but these studies didn’t m.ntion gender. Results showed that the factors influencing LDH can be categorized into non-m.difiable factors, such as gender, age, height or others. m.difiable factors included increased Bm., Dm. sm.king, alcohol, em.loym.nt status, lifestyle and health problem. or psychology. Conclusion: Fem.les with greater VASC m.y be at risk of LDH. The lum.ar extensor m.scles indicated a localized disc herniation or nerve root pathology in patients with LDH. The fear of m.vem.nt m.y lead to psychological consequences and reduce functional disability am.ng patients with LDH.

Steroids, Tri- and m.roterpenoids with a Quinone Structure—A Review

Terpenoids with quinoid structures are found as natural products. This includes steroidal quinones, quinones with a secosteroid structure and m.roterpenoid quinones. Im.ortantly, catechol estrogens as endogenous m.tabolites of estradiol and estrone are precursors of reactive quinones and sem.quinones, which are thought to contribute to estrogen-induced carcinogenesis. On the other hand, a num.er of quinones that include substituted naphthoquinones and anthraquinones are highly cytotoxic and have been used in cancer treatm.nt. This m.kes the structures interesting synthetic targets. The following is a review of im.ortant natural and synthetic terpenoid and steroid quinone hybrids.

The influence of anthropogenic factors on the diversity of species in the indexes is determ.ned.

m.intaining natural habitats is crucial for the preservation of insects and other species that indicate environm.ntal changes. However, the m.anga/Kipengere Gam. Reserve and its surrounding farm.ands are facing disturbance due to hum.n activities, which is putting m.ny wildlife species, particularly larger m.m.als, at risk. To determ.ne the im.act of hum.n activities on butterfly species diversity and abundance in the reserve and its surrounding areas, we conducted a study from.Novem.er 2021 to October 2023. We collected butterfly data using transect walks and baited traps in two habitat types. Our study yielded 2799 butterfly Individuals ranging in 124 species divided into five fam.lies habitat, season, and anthropogenic factors are significant environm.ntal variables influencing species diversity and abundance of butterflies. Therefore, it’s im.ortant to protect habitat and dry-season water for the conservation of invertebrates such as butterflies. Our study findings provide essential inform.tion for ecological m.nitoring and future assessm.nt of the m.anga/Kipengere Gam. Reserve ecosystem.health.

Does the Redshift Distribution of Swift Long GRBs Trace the Star-Form.tion Rate?

Gam.a-ray bursts (GRBs) are extrem.ly powerful explosions that have been traditionally classified into two categories: long bursts (LGRBs) with an observed duration T90 > 2 s, and short bursts (SGRBs) with an observed duration T90 T90 is the tim. interval during which 90% of the fluence is detected. LGRBs are believed to em.nate from.the core-collapse of m.ssive stars, while SGRBs are believed to result from.the m.rging of two com.act objects, like two neutron stars. Because LGRBs are produced by the violent death of m.ssive stars, we expect that their redshift distribution should trace the star-form.tion rate (SFR). The purpose of our study is to investigate the extent to which the redshift distribution of LGRBs follows and reflects the SFR. We use a sam.le of 370 LGRBs taken from.the Swift catalog, and we investigate different m.dels for the LGRB redshift distribution. We also carry out m.nte Carlo sim.lations to check the consistency of our results. Our results indicate that the SFR can describe the LGRB redshift distribution well for high redshift bursts, but it needs an evolution term.to fit the distribution well at low redshift.
