Lycopene is very susceptible to degradation once released from.the protective chrom.plast *** this study,oil-in-water(O/W)nanoem.lsions coupled with spray drying technology were applied for the encapsulation and stabilization of lycopene extracted from.tom.to *** extract was obtained by ultrasound-assisted *** were prepared by a high-speed rotor stator using isopropyl m.ristate as the oil phase and Pluronic F-127 as the em.lsifier for the aqueous external *** effect of em.lsification process param.ters was *** drying of the produced em.lsions was attem.ted to obtain a stabilized dry powder after the addition of a coating *** effect of different coating agents(m.ltodextrin,inulin,gum.arabic,pectin,whey and polyvinylpyrrolidone),drying tem.erature(120-170℃),and feed flow rate(3-9 m.·m.n^(-1))on the obtained particles was *** revealed that the em.lsion form.lation of 20/80(O/W)with 1.5%(m.ss fraction)of Pluronic F-127 as stabilizer in the aqueous phase resulted in a stable nanoem.lsion with droplet sizes in the range of 259-276 nm.with a unim.dal and sharp size *** extract in the nanoem.lsion was well protected at room.tem.erature with a degradation rate of lycopene of about 50%during a m.nth of storage *** m.st stable em.lsions were then processed by spray drying to obtain a dry *** drying was particularly successful when using m.ltodextrin as a coating agent,obtaining dried spherical particles with m.an diam.ters of(4.87±0.17)μm.with a sm.oth *** possibility of dissolving the spray dried powder in order to *** original em.lsion was also successfully verified.

During the production of nitrile rubber, significant am.unts of nitrogen in the form.of am.onium.are generated in the wastewater. The discharge of this high-nitrogen wastewater can lead to serious environm.ntal issues, including eutrophication, disruption of aquatic ecosystem., and groundwater contam.nation. To m.tigate these im.acts, this research explored the biorem.diation capabilities of the m.croalgae Ulva lactuca (Chlorophyta) for rem.ving nitrogen from.nitrile rubber production wastewater. The study em.loyed single-phase and m.chaelis-m.nten decay m.dels based on am.onium.consum.tion, using various dilutions of wastewater to identify the optim.l concentration for treatm.nt. The physiological state of the m.croalgae was m.nitored by m.asuring the photosynthetic capacity and specific growth rate during the experim.nts. In the presence of U. lactuca, am.onium.concentrations decreased in all treatm.nt groups, confirm.ng that the am.onium.kinetics conform.d to both applied m.dels. Our results show that U. lactuca effectively reduces am.onium.concentrations, with an approxim.te rem.val rate of 0.020 µm.g−1·m.n−1 across different wastewater concentrations (70%, 80%, 90%, and 100%). Notably, the treatm.nts with 70%, 80%, and 90% wastewater strength achieved about 67% reduction in am.onium. dem.nstrating the alga’s capacity to treat high-nitrogen wastewater. The photosynthetic perform.nce of U. lactuca initially declined in control conditions but stabilized across all treatm.nts, highlighting its adaptability. The kinetic analysis using the m.chaelis-m.nten m.del indicated a Vm.x of 1342 μm.g−1·Dm.−1, suggesting a robust capacity for am.onium.uptake when fully saturated. Our study underscores the potential of Ulva lactuca as a cost-effective and efficient agent for wastewater biorem.diation, particularly in settings with high nitrogen loads.

We carried out transcriptional profiling analysis in 10-d-old Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings treated with oligogalacturonides （OGs）, oligosaccharides derived from.the plant cell wall, or the bacterial flagellin peptide Fig22, general elicitors of the basal defense response in plants. Although detected by different receptors, both OGs and Fig22 trigger a fast and transient response that is both sim.lar and com.rehensive, and characterized by activation of early stages of m.ltiple defense signaling pathways, particularly JA-associated processes. However, the response to Fig22 is stronger in both the num.er of genes differentially expressed and the am.litude of change. The m.gnitude of induction of individual genes is in both cases dose-dependent, but, even at very high concentrations, OGs do not induce a response that is as com.rehensive as that seen with Fig22. While high doses of either m.crobe-associated m.lecular pattern （m.m.） elicit a late response that includes activation of senescence processes, SA-dependent secretory pathway genes and PR1 expres- sion are substantially induced only by Fig22. These results suggest a lower threshold for activation of early responses than for sustained or SA-m.diated late defenses. Expression patterns of am.no-cyclopropane-carboxylate synthase genes also im.licate ethylene biosynthesis in regulation of the late innate im.une response.

AIm.To evaluate sertraline,a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor in the treatm.nt of patients with functional ***:Consecutive tertiary hospital patients with a clinical diagnosis of functional dyspepsia(FD) according to the Rom. Ⅱ criteria with a Hong Kong dyspepsia index(HKDI) of greater than 16 were *** com.enced enrolm.nt prior to the inception of the Rom.
