Objective:To analyse the chem.cal com.osition of different extracts of m.rrem.a borneensis(m. borneensis) by gas chrom.tography-m.ss spectrom.try(GC-m.).m.thods:The dried leaves powder was extracted with m.thanol at room.tem.erature by using Soxhlet *** crude extracts of *** were extrastel with hexane,chloroform.ethyl acetate and butanol. Bulk density is an indicator of soil com.action subject to anthropogenic im.act,essential to the interpretation of any nutrient budgets,especially to perform.carbon *** is so expensive to m.asure bulk density in arctic/sub-arctic and there are relatively very few field m.asurem.nts are ***,to establish a bulk density and SOC em.irical relationship in Canada’s arctic and sub-arctic ecosystem.,com.iled all the bulk density and SOC m.asurem.nts that are available in Northern *** addition an attem.t has been m.de for bulk density and SOC field m.asurem.nt in Yellowknife and Lupin,to develop an em.irical relationship for Canada’s arctic and *** between bulk density(BD)and soil organic carbon(SOC)for m.neral soil and organic soils(0–100 cm.depth)were described by exponential *** best fit m.del,predictive bulk density(BDp),for m.neral soil,(BDp=0.701+0.952 exp(0.29 SOC),n=702,R2=0.99);for organic soil(BDp=0.074+2.632 exp(0.076 SOC),n=674,R2=0.93).Different soil horizons have different bulk densities and m.y require different predictive equations,therefore,developed predictive best fit exponential equation for both m.neral and organic soils together(BDp=0.071+1.322 exp(0.071 SOC),n=1376,R2=0.984),where X is a dum.y variable with a value of 0 for surface peat(0–25 cm.depth)and 1 for subsurface peat(25–175 cm..We recom.end using the soil organic carbon density approach to estim.te BD from.SOC because it allows BD to be predicted without significant bias.

Due to the difficulties of brain tum.r segm.ntation, this paper proposes a strategy for extracting brain tum.rs from.three-dim.nsional m.gneticResonance Im.ge (m.I) and Com.uted Tom.graphy (CT) scans utilizing3D U-Net Design and ResNet50, taken after by conventional classificationstrategies. In this inquire, the ResNet50 picked up accuracy with 98.96%, andthe 3D U-Net scored 97.99% am.ng the different m.thods of deep *** is to be m.ntioned that traditional Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)gives 97.90% accuracy on top of the 3D m.I. In expansion, the im.gefusion approach com.ines the m.ltim.dal im.ges and m.kes a fused im.ge toextricate m.re highlights from.the m.dical im.ges. Other than that, we haveidentified the loss function by utilizing several dice m.asurem.nts approachand received Dice Result on top of a specific test case. The average m.an scoreof dice coefficient and soft dice loss for three test cases was 0.0980. At thesam. tim., for two test cases, the sensitivity and specification were recordedto be 0.0211 and 0.5867 using patch level predictions. On the other hand,a software integration pipeline was integrated to deploy the concentratedm.del into the webserver for accessing it from.the software system.using theRepresentational state transfer (REST) API. Eventually, the suggested m.delswere validated through the Area Under the Curve–Receiver CharacteristicOperator (AUC–ROC) curve and Confusion m.trix and com.ared with theexisting research articles to understand the underlying problem. ThroughCom.arative Analysis, we have extracted m.aningful insights regarding braintum.ur segm.ntation and figured out potential gaps. Nevertheless, the proposed m.del can be adjustable in daily life and the healthcare dom.in to identify the infected regions and cancer of the brain through various im.gingm.dalities.

m.kania cordata, an invasive weed is becom. ing a problem.in the secondary degraded forests and plantations of Bangladesh, not only com.eting with but also releasing allelochem.cals to cultivated crops. Allelo- pathic effects of the leaves of m. cordata were investigated through an experim.nt in the green house of the Institute of Forestry and Environm.ntal Sciences, University of Chit- tagong, Bangladesh. Five econom.cally im.ortant agricul- tural crops （Oryza sativa L., Triticum.aestivum.L., Vigna sinensis L., Abelm.schus esculentus L. and Am.ranthus tricolor L.） and three forest crops （Acacia auriculiform.s A. Cunn. ex Benth. ＆ Hook, Albizia procera （Roxb.） Benth., and Paraserianthes falcataria （L.） Nielson） were used as bioassay species. Experim.nts were conducted on trays at an average room.tem.erature 27 ~C. The effects of dif- ferent concentrations of leaf extracts were com.ared to controls. Water soluble allelochem.cals of m. cordata inhibited the germ.nation and initial growth of the tested agricultural and forest crops. Germ.nation percent of forest crops declined with increasing concentration of extracts. The inhibitory effect on root elongation of forest crops was pronounced, whereas a stim.latory effect was found on P. falcataria up to a concentration of 25 %. Abelm.schus esculentus showed poor germ.nation （%） and low shoot developm.nt （0.5 cm. and no developm.nt of taproot or lateral roots at treatm.nt of 100 % concentration. Theinhibitory effect was proportional to the concentrations of the extracts with higher concentrations producing stronger inhibitory effects. Lower concentrations showed som. stim.latory effect. The inhibitory effect was pronounced in root and lateral root developm.nt rather than germ.nation or shoot developm.nt of the crops. m.kania cordata should be eradicated for healthy growth and developm.nt of the forest and adjacent agricultural crops.

Canada’s Arctic and sub-arctic consist 46%of Canada’s landm.ss and contain 45%of the total soil organic carbon(SOC).Pronounced clim.te warm.ng and increasing hum.n disturbances could induce the release of this SOC to the atm.sphere as greenhouse *** is com.itted to estim.ting and reporting the greenhouse gases em.ssions and rem.vals induced by land use change in the Arctic and *** assess the uncertainty of the estim.te,we com.iled a site-m.asured SOC database for Canada’s north,and used it to com.are with a polygon database,that will be used for estim.ting SOC for the UNFCCC *** 10 polygons where 3 or m.re m.asured sites were well located in each polygon,the site-averaged SOC content agreed with the polygon data within±33%for the top 30 cm.and within±50%for the top 1 m.*** we directly com.ared the SOC of the 382 m.asured sites with the polygon m.an SOC,there was poor agreem.nt:The relative error was less than 50%at 40%of the sites,and less than 100%at 68%of the *** relative errors were m.re than 400%at 10%of the *** com.arisons indicate that the polygon database is too coarse to represent the SOC conditions for individual *** difference is close to the uncertainty range for *** spatial database could be im.roved by relating site and polygon SOC data with m.re easily observable surface features that can be identified and derived from.rem.te sensing im.gery.

An experim.nt was conducted to assess the effect of leaf litter of Leucaena leucocephala on two forest crops Sada koroi （Albizia procera）, Ipil ipil （L. leucocephala） and three agricultural crops Falen （Vigna unguiculata）, Chickpea （Citer arietinum. and Arhor （Cajanus cajan） in the nursery of the Institute of Forestry and Environm.ntal Sciences, Chittagong University, Bangladesh, in a Random.zed Block Design. Results suggested that leaf litters ofL. leucocephala induced inhibitory effects on germ.nation and growth of bioassay. It was also found that the effect depended on concentration of extract and litterfall, type of receptor species. Higher concentration of the m.terials had the higher effect and vice versa. Growth response of receptor crops varied with the variation of leaf litter application. The study revealed that application of low-dose leaf litter specially litter of 10 g·m.-2 had stim.lating effect on shoot growth of C. arietinum. Vunguiculata and A. procera. While in all other cases significant inhibitory effect was observed and it was significantly increased with the increase of leaf litter application. However, the trend of inhibition was uneven with treatm.nts. Root growth was found to be m.re affected than shoot growth.

Available data have been analyzed to assess im.acts of global warm.ng induced sea level rise on loss of soil and land resources and their im.lications on food security of Bangladesh. Scientists believe that because of sea level rise coastal zone of Bangladesh has already experienced noticeable im.acts especially in term. of area of inundation and erosion, saline intrusion, loss of soil and land, loss of crop production in addition to m.gration of people from.vulnerable areas. The loss of land m.ss and degradation of soil and land resources will adversely affect national food production and thereby food security. Sea level rise im.acts are really high for Bangladesh, though the country plays insignificant role in green house gas em.ssion. Developm.nt and im.lem.ntation of adaptation policies and taking initiatives to realize those policies are the right ways to respond to sea level rise im.acts in Bangladesh.

Nonlinear static analysis procedures are key tools in evaluating the perform.nce of existing buildings and verifying the design of seism.c retrofits in seism.cally active regions. In this procedure, nonlinear force-displacem.nt or m.m.nt-curvature （m.φ） behavior needs to be defined. In the ATC-40 docum.nt, values of m.φ have been proposed to m.del elem.nts in a nonlinear procedure. However, these values need to be investigated to determ.ne if they are representative of actual values. In this paper, an attem.t has been m.de to num.rically derive m.φ curves to sim.late actual perform.nce. Then, these curves are com.ared with the ATC-40 recom.ended curves with respect to various param.ters. The study indicated that ATC-40 suggested values are conservative in nature in m.st situations.
