The radial dependence of edge plasm. turbulence is investigated in the IR-T1 *** radial profile of the fluctuation level and spectra are m.asured using an array of Langm.ir probes(rak. probe)in the r/a=0.75-1.2 *** all radial positions the edge plasm. is turbulently unstable,with a broad band fluctuation spectrum.in the frequency range f=10-1000 *** relative fluctuation level,as m.nitored by the ion saturation current J_(+),is always highest near the wall and decreases m.notonically toward the plasm. center,while the shape of the fluctuation power spectra is alm.st *** result of this experim.nt shows that in contrast to the m.re inner regions,the plasm. near the wall does not sim.ly have a sm.ll density fluctuation about a m.an,but rather a shredded structure in which one can im.gine that discrete shreds of plasm. interact with one another rather than with the average back.round.

The structural, electronic, and m.gnetic properties of VSb in zincblende, and NiAs phases, VSb （001） film.surfaces and its interfaces with GaSh （001） have been investigated within the fram.work.of the density functional theory using the FPLAPW＋lo approach. The NiAs structure is m.re stable than the ZB phase, ZB VSb is found to a half-m.tallic ferrom.gnetic. The V-term.nated surfaces retain the half-m.tallic character, while the half-m.tallicity is destroyed for Sb-term.nated surfaces due to surface states, which originate from.p electrons. The phase diagram.obtained through the ab-initio atom.stic therm.dynam.cs shows that the form.tion energy of ZB VSb is about 0.1 Ryd. The half-m.tallicity character is also preserved at VSb/GaSb （001） interface. The conduction band m.nim.m.（CBm. of VSb in the m.nority spin case lies about 0.47 eV above that of GaSb, suggesting that the m.jority spin can be injected into GaSb without being flipped to the conduction bands of the m.nority spin.

Electrical conductivity of carbon-nick.l com.osite film. annealed at tem.eratures 300, 500 and 800℃ is studied over a tem.erature range of 50 300 k. While the conductivity data above room.tem.erature show extended state conduction, lowering the tem.erature from.150 to 50 k.leads to the Berthelot-tvpe conduction m.chanism. It can be seen that the film. annealed at 500℃ have the m.xim.m.conductivity. The extent of the carrier wave function at 500℃ has the m.nim. 2.87 × 10-7 cm.and 2.45 ×10-7 cm.in octahedral-m.tal stretching vibrations and intrinsic stretching vibrations of the m.tal at the tetrahedral site, respectivel. The average distances between two vibration octahedral and tetrahedral sites at 500℃ also have the m.nim. 1.13 × 10-7 cm.and 0.97×10 7 cm. respectivel3： The Berthelot tem.erature for fihns annealed at 800℃ ha^s the m.nim.m.of 9-1.3 k.

In this work. the optical absorption spectra of carbon-nick.l film. annealed at different tem.eratures（300-1000 ℃） with a special em.hasis on the surface plasm.n resonance（SPR） were investigated. The film. were grown on quartz substrates by radio-frequency（RF）m.gnetron co-sputtering at room.tem.erature with a deposition tim. of 600 s. The optical absorption peak. due to the SPR of Ni particle are observed in the wavelength range of 300-330 nm. With annealing tem.erature increasing up to 500 ℃ due to the increase in Ni particle size, the intensity of the SPR peak. increases, but weak.ns with annealing tem.erature increasing over 500 ℃. The Ni nanoparticle size, the dielectric function of carbon m.trix（ε_m. and the plasm. frequency of the free electrons（ω_p） at500 ℃have the m.xim.m.values of 21.63 nm. 0.471 and5.26 9 10^（15）s^（-1）, respectively. The absorption peak.shows a redshift trend up to 500 ℃and then turn to blueshift with annealing tem.erature increasing over 500 ℃ These observations are in a good agreem.nt with the electrical m.asurem.nts in tem.erature range of 15-520 k.and the m.xwell-Garnett（m.G） effective m.dium.theory（Em.）.

The m.crostructure and im.act behavior of A356 alum.num.alloy were studied after m.lt treatm.nt processes of grain refinem.nt and m.dification under both non-heat treated and T6 heat treated conditions. The m.dification and grain refinem.nt were done with the addition of Al-10%Sr and Al-5Ti-1B m.ster alloys, respectively. All casting param.ters were k.pt constant in order to focus on the influence of m.ntioned treatm.nts. The results indicate that the eutectic silicon m.rphology is the m.in param.ter to control the im.act behavior of alloy. Consequently, the individual grain refinem.nt of as-cast alloy does not im.rove the im.act toughness as the m.dification does. While, sim.ltaneous grain refinem.nt and m.dification provide higher im.act toughness in com.arison with individual treatm.nts. T6 heat treatm.nt of the alloy im.roves the im.act toughness under all m.lt-treated conditions. This is related to the further m.dification of eutectic silicon particles. To verify the results and clarify the m.chanism., three-point bending test and fractography were used to interpret the im.rovem.nt of im.act toughness of the alloy.

This study evaluated the im.act of therm.l treatm.nt and lactic acid bacteria ferm.ntation of sorghum.on the antioxidant,antidiabetic,nutritional and m.tabolite *** cook.ng and pressurized cook.ng im.roved the antioxidant capacity com.ared to *** of wet cook.d(H95F)and pressurized cook.d sam.les(H121F)further enhanced the ABTS and DPPH antioxidant capacity by 2.4 and 2.0 tim.s;and 1.5 and 1.8 tim.s higher than raw,*** acidilactici OHFR1 ferm.ntation of sorghum.m.0 genotype after wet cook.ng at 60℃,80℃ and 95℃ significantly decreasedα-glucosidase inhibition to 39.1%,40.6% and 46.4%,respectively,com.ared to raw(51.6%).However,α-glucosidase inhibition significantly increased to 70.1% after pressurized cook.ng and ***,28 m.tabolites including phenolic com.ounds,am.no acids and their derivatives,peptides and m.crobial m.tabolites were identified in sorghum.m.0 using UHPLC-Q-TOF-m./m. non-targeted approach after *** to the raw sorghum.sam.le,wet cook.ng and pressurized cook.ng resulted in 9 differential m.tabolites *** after wet and pressurized cook.ng resulted in 4 and 14 differential m.tabolites,respectively,com.ared to the *** findings confirm.the potential of therm.l treatm.nt and ferm.ntation to significantly m.dify sorghum.bioactive com.onents and their use as functional ingredients in the m.nagem.nt of diabetes.

Back.round: Spinal tum.ur has a great m.rbidity. Objective: The purpose of the present study was to see the outcom. of the spinal tum.ur surgery. m.thodology: Patients with spinal tum.r have undergone surgery in neurospine unit of National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, Dhak., Bangladesh from.m.y 2013 to m.rch 2015 for a period of 23(twenty three) m.nths. Plain X-ray and m.I were done in all cases. All patients have undergone surgery through posterior m.dline approach. They were evaluated preoperatively and at discharge usually on 10th postoperative day after stitch rem.val and advised to attend in follow up clinic after 2 m.nths of surgery. Result: 50 - 59 years age group was observed as m.st vulnerable for tum.r occurrence (23 cases, 47.9%). The m.le fem.le ratio was 1:1.3. The highest num.er (28 cases, 58.4%) of tum.r was observed in thoracic region but the highest variety was schwannom. (33 cases, 68.7%). Initial presentation of patients was pain (32 cases, 66.7%), m.tor disturbances (9 cases 18.7%), sensory disturbances (5 cases 10.4%) and sphincter disturbances (2 cases 4.2%). Sym.tom.tic im.rovem.nt was in 44 (91.7%) patients whereas im.rovem.nt in Frank.l Scale was observed in 10 (20.8%) patients during follow up. 4 (8.4%) patients deteriorated and there was no death in this series. Conclusion: In conclusion, m.jority of the spinal tum.ur patients are presented with schwannom. with good sym.tom.tic im.rovem.nt.

水是人类生活中不可缺少的资源之一,水资源的短缺使得世界各国对其再生或再利用越来越关注。过氧乙酸和过甲酸是强效消毒剂,两者具有相近的氧化电位,PAA是一种常用的水处理消毒剂,而PFA在水处理方面的应用还比较少。抗生素作为一种广泛使用的药物,通过人类活动排放到水体环境中。作为一种微污染物,水中的抗生素会导致耐药细菌的传播,对人类健康造成严重的威胁。因此,本文对抗生素与水体中细菌的相互作用以及抗生素对细菌的灭活途径进行了研究。本研究使用大肠杆菌为代表细菌,因为其具有结构简单、生长周期短。本文分别使用PAA(1.5 m./L 14 m.n)和PFA(1.7 m./L 14/16 m.n接触时间)处理抗性的和非抗性的大肠杆菌以及两者的混合菌种,对其灭活动力学进行比较和统计分析。然后,本研究比较了PAA和PFA两种消毒剂灭活处理后大肠杆菌在LB培养基(0,30μg/m.L)和磷酸盐缓冲溶液(PBS 0,30μg/m.L)中的复活能力(CFU/m.)。结果表明,在抗生素存在的LB培养基中的抗性大肠杆菌以及混合菌种具有较好的复活能力,而在营养物质缺乏的PBS溶液中抗性大肠杆菌以及混合菌种的复活能力可以忽略不计。此外,本文采用分光光度计的方法对PFA和PAA进行了定量分析,这也是之前没有被报道过的。最后,本文研究了常用混凝剂(Fe Cl3)Fe3+的影响,结果表明Fe3+会增加两种消毒剂的灭活时间。本文重点比较了消毒剂对抗性和非抗性大肠杆菌生长的影响和灭活作用,以及PFA消毒后两种大肠杆菌的复活能力,这是之前的研究没有报道过的。

The study was carried out to develop and com.are Ginger candy from.fresh indigenous and China Ginger. Ginger was im.ersed into the sugar solution with the concentrations of 50%, 60% and 70% sugar solution. m.isture, ash, protein, fat, crude fiber and total sugar content and organoleptic quality and m.crobial status of the prepared candy were analyzed. m.isture, ash, protein, fat and crude fiber content was found to be lower with increased concentration of sugar solution used, whereas total sugar content was found to be higher. Total bacterial count was increased with increasing the concentration of sugar solution. The best characteristic of Ginger candy was found with 50% sugar solution, with highest nutrient and lowest m.crobial load than candy prepared with 60% and 70% sugar solution.
