The relationship between spatial patterns of m.crobenthos com.unity characteristics and environm.ntal conditions（salinity, tem.erature, dissolved oxygen, organic m.tter content, sand, silt and clay） was investigated throughout the Gorgan Bay in June 2010. Principal com.onents analysis（PCA） based on environm.ntal data separated eastern and western stations. The m.xim.m.4 500 ind./m.） and m.nim.m.411 ind./m.） densities were observed at Stas 1 and 6, respectively. Polychaeta was the m.jor group and Streblospio gynobranchiata was dom.nant species in the bay. According to Distance Based linear m.dels results, m.crofaunal total density was correlated with silt percentage and salinity and these two factors explaining 64% of the variability while m.crofaunal com.unity structure just correlated with salinity（22% total variation）. In general, western part of the bay showed the highest num.er of species and biodiversity while, the highest density was found at Sta. 1 and in the m.ddle part of the bay. Furtherm.re, relationship between diversity indices and m.crobenthic species with m.asured factors is also discussed. Our results confirm.the effect of salinity as an im.ortant factor on distribution of m.crobenthic fauna in south Caspian brackish waters.

A com.arative study on the prevalence of Anaplasm. parasite was conducted on ticks carrying buffaloes and cattle. Five hundred blood sam.les of both anim.ls (250 of each) were collected during February, m.rch and April. Thin blood sm.ars on glass slides were m.de, fixed in 100% m.thyl alcohol and exam.ned. m.croscopic exam.nation revealed that 205 (41%) anim.ls had Anaplasm. parasites, out of which 89, 44 and 72 anim.ls had Anaplasm. m.rginale, Anaplasm. centrale and m.xed infection respectively. Infected buffaloes and cattle were 75 and 130 respectively. The infection in fem.le was 53 and 92 in buffaloes and cattle respectively. Twenty-two and 92 blood sam.les of m.le were found positive in buffaloes and cattle respectively. Com. parative study revealed that the cattle were 26.82% m.re susceptible than buffaloes. The parasite prevailing percentage in fem.le of both anim.ls was slightly higher than that of the m.le. This investigation was aim.d at studying the com.arative prevalence of Anaplasm. parasite in tick carrying buffaloes and cattle.

The effect of different gelling agents and processing for jam production from.pom.granate juice was evaluated. In the last years, different gelling agents were tested for im.roving jam quality in term. of color and bioactive com.ounds. The unsonicated and sonicated pom.granate juices were processed for jam production by m.crowaves, under vacuum.and cryoconcentration concentration m.thods using low and high m.thoxy pectins, and carob seed flour as gelling agents. The polyphenols content of sonicated jam was significantly lower than unsonicated sam.les and cryoconcentrated jams showed the significantly highest value am.ng other m.thods. The results showed the highest anthocyanin content in the both sonicated and unsonicated jam including carob seed flour and antocyanins content of the cryoconcentrated sam.les was in the range of 156.6-186.2 m./kg, and revealed higher content com.ared to the other processed *** findings showed that cryoconcentrated m.thod is m.re effective in preserving the total polyphenols, anthocyanins, vitam.n C and antioxidant activity. m.reover, also the colour of cryoconcentrated pom.granade jam was preserved. Cryoconcentration is a prom.sing m.thod for preserving organoleptic and functional properties of the jam produced from.pom.granate juice.

目的：研制和评价新碘标阿片受体显像剂７αＯｉｏｄｏａｌｙｌｄｉｐｒｅｎｏｒｐｈｉｎｅ（７αＯＩＡＤＰＮ）。方法：选用阿片肽拮抗剂ＤＰＮ经碘代锡烷标记法成功地获得了一个原始的碘标阿片肽类似物，并对其进行理化性能、药理作用和生物学功能评价。结果：体外和体内阿片受体结合分析表明这一新的阿片配体具有非常高的亲和力（Ｋｉ＝４×１０－４μｍｏｌ／Ｌ）。注药后２０ｍｉｎ动物脑内的特异性结合占６３％，且其在脑内滞留时间较长而有利于成像。阿片抑制试验和抗痛活性研究分别反映碘标７αＯＩＡＤＰＮ可能对３种阿片受体（μ，δ，κ）都有亲和力，并保持了原有的药理特性和生物学功能。结论：碘标７αＯＩＡＤＰＮ作为新阿片受体显像剂较适于今后ＳＰＥＣＴ阿片受体研究。

Introduction: The extended adm.nistration of corticoids by oral way for a length of m.re than 3 m.nths defines the long-term.corticosteroid-therapy. This one, used in num.rous indications, displays m.st often at the risk of undesirable effects linked som.tim.s to the habits of prescription of the doctors. Patients and m.thods: In order to study the prescription m.dalities of this treatm.nt, we conducted a cross-sectional, m.lticentric and descriptive study from.June 1st, 2017 to August 1st, 2017, over a period of 2 m.nths. It involved a questionnaire given to m.dical specialists of all m.dical specialties and practicing in the University Hospital of Dakar. Results: 170 doctors were interviewed. Derm.tologists and internists were m.stly found 19.4% and 18.8% or 33% and 34% doctors. System.c autoim.une diseases alone accounted for 48% of prescription reasons. Prednisone was prescribed in 88% of cases. The im.unosuppressive dose of 1 m./kg was m.st often prescribed. Practitioners very heterogeneously prescribe m.st adjuvant m.asures to prolonged system.c corticosteroid therapy. Thus, the recom.endation of a low-sodium.diet (38% of physicians), and the system.tic prescriptions of proton pum. inhibitors (44.7% of physicians) and vitam.n-calcium.supplem.ntation were frequently perform.d by physicians (34% of physicians). While the low carbohydrate diet was advocated by less than a quarter of doctors and the prevention of pneum.cystosis and osteoporosis were rare (respectively 61% and 52% of prescribers did not). Conclusion: The global analysis of the habits of our m.dical specialists concerning the use of long-term.glucocorticoids reflected a diversity of indications, heterogeneity of practices, with certain habits not in accordance with the usual recom.endations.

Introduction: Venous throm.oem.olic disease (VTE) is a real public health problem.worldwide. The practice guide produced periodically by the Am.rican College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) has becom. the international standard. However, throm.oprophylaxis rem.ins underused. m.thodology: We carried out a descriptive cross-sectional study. The goals of that study were to evaluate the effectiveness of the practice of throm.oprophylaxis in the various m.dical services of the Dakar Public Hospitals. Our investigation was conducted for two weeks in Septem.er 2017. Results: 160 patients were included (81 m.n and 79 wom.n) in our series, with m.le predom.nance: sex ratio of 1.02. The average age was 48. Infectious pathologies were the predom.nant clinical pictures (35% of cases). The throm.oem.olic risk factors (RF) m.inly found were represented by prolonged bed rest, followed by cardiovascular (RF): age greater than 60 years (31.2%), hypertension (8.8%), obesity (4.4%) and diabetes (3.8%). The throm.oem.olic RF of patients hospitalized in these m.dical services has been evaluated em.irically. We noted a lack of use of the VTE risk assessm.nt scores. 40.9% (n = 56) of patients received overall VTE prophylaxis, a rate corresponding to alm.st half of those at risk (51.4%). This result reflects an under-use of throm.oprophylaxis in the Dakar m.dical environm.nt and a low level of adherence by practicians to the guidelines on VTE prophylaxis. Conclusion: It is therefore recom.ended to develop a national strategy to assess patients at risk for VTE, as well as m.asures to educate and inform.doctors about the appropriate form. of throm.oprophylaxis.

Introduction: The occurrence of tuberculosis (TB) during the follow-up of Connective tissue diseases (CTD) is a particular situation often posing real diagnostic problem.. This is an association described in the literature. Patients and m.thods: We conducted a retrospective and descriptive study at the internal m.dicine departm.nt of Aristide le Dantec Hospital. The purpose of this study was to determ.ne the treatm.nt that patients followed for CTD and suffering from.TB took before the occurrence of this one. Results: During a study period of 11 years and 6 m.nths, 21 cases of TB were diagnosed in 602 cases of CTD (0.03%). The predom.nance was fem.le with a sex ratio (H/F) of 0.6. The m.dian age was 42 years old. The m.jority of cases originated from.the Dakar region (13 patients or 61.9%) and 85.7% had previous follow-up exclusively in m.dern m.dicine and 21 cases (95%) received the CTD’s treatm.nt. This consisted of prednisone (90.5%) com.ined with m.thotrexate (52.4%), azathioprine (23.8%) or cyclophospham.de (19.4%). The respective m.dians doses of these drugs were 12.5 m. per day for prednisone, 13.5 m. per week for m.thotrexate and 100 m. per day for azathioprine. The m.dian duration of patient follow-up was 36 m.nths. The cum.lative dose of prednisone during this period was 23.6 g and that of m.thotrexate 2.25 g. CTD were dom.nated by rheum.toid arthritis (RA) (57.1%), and system.c lupus (19%). Isolated cases of system.c scleroderm., prim.ry Sjôgren, SHARP syndrom. m.xed connective tissue disease, and m.ltiple autoim.une syndrom.were noted. TB was localized in 95% of cases, readily bilateral and poorly dissem.nated. The respective m.dians diagnostic delays for system.c disease and TB were 21 m.nths and 5 m.nths. Tuberculin intraderm.l reaction was perform.d in 16 cases and was positive in 9 cases, sputum.bacilli was perform.d in 19 cases and was positive in 15 cases. Twelve low-calorie orange-based form.lated jams were prepared m.inly from.orange, pum.kin and papaya, and then sweetened using fructose (F), stevioside (St) and sucralose (Su). The nutritional value of form.lated jams was estim.ted after the approxim.te chem.cal com.osition and total soluble solid have been determ.ned. The effect of storage on total phenolic com.ounds, antioxidant capacity, carotenoids content and vitam.n C was investigated. Organoleptical attributes of prepared low-calorie jams were done as well. Results indicated that the nutritive value [kcal 100 g–1 fw] ranged from.88.10 ± 0.60 to 164.34 ± 0.41;total phenol content (TPC, m. GAE 100 g–1 fw] ranged from.188.52 ± 2.45 to 411.79 ± 3.3;the antioxidant capacity (μm.l TE g–1 fw) ranged from.14.57 ± 0.86 to 32.39 ± 1.19;total carotenoids [m. 100 g–1 fw] ranged from.115.20 ± 5.66 to 204.33 ± 4.21;vitam.n C [m. 100 g fw] ranged from.8.94 ± 1.07 to 28.77 ± 4.46;total soluble solids [Brix] ranged from.22.53 ± 0.05 to 43.37 ± 0.13. jams storage for a period of 12 m.nths at room.tem.erature led to a decrease in vitam.n C content, TPC, antioxidant capacity, while total soluble solids (TSS) and carotenoids increased during storage. The results of organoleptical attributes showed that the form.las O11, O1 had the highest score of color and odor respectively while O7 recorded m.xim.m.score for taste, texture and bitterness respectively. Statistical analysis showed that storage intervals and treatm.nts had a significant (p lity of diet jam. The organoleptical characteristics were affected with the extension of shelf-life. Addition of stevioside and sucralose to form.late the low-calorie jam increased total phenol and antioxidant capacity, im.roved color, taste and produced targeted low-calorie jams. The use of sweeteners such as fructose, sucralose and stevioside in the m.nufacture of orange diet jam was shown to be satisfactory, resulting in low-calorie jams, im.roved the quality and
