Software-Defined Networking(SDN)represents a significant paradigm.shift in network architecture,separating network logic from.the underlying forwarding devices to enhance flexibility and centralize ***-rently,the Internet of Things(IoT)connects num.rous devices to the Internet,enabling autonom.us interactions with m.nim.l hum.n ***,im.lem.nting and m.naging an SDN-IoT system.is inherently com.lex,particularly for those with lim.ted resources,as the dynam.c and distributed nature of IoT infrastructures creates security and privacy challenges during SDN *** findings of this study underscore the prim.ry security and privacy challenges across application,control,and data planes.A com.rehensive review evaluates the root causes of these challenges and the defense techniques em.loyed in prior works to establish sufficient secrecy and privacy *** investigations have explored cutting-edge m.thods,such as leveraging blockchain for transaction recording to enhance security and privacy,along with applying m.chine learning and deep learning approaches to identify and m.tigate the im.acts of Denial of Service(DoS)and Distributed DoS(DDoS)***,the analysis indicates that encryption and hashing techniques are prevalent in the data plane,whereas access control and certificate authorization are prom.nently considered in the control plane,and authentication is com.only em.loyed within the application ***,this paper outlines future directions,offering insights into potential strategies and technological advancem.nts aim.d at fostering a m.re secure and privacy-conscious SDN-based IoT ecosystem.

High-quality liquid phase-pulsed laser ablation graphene synthesis by flexible graphite exfoliation

This work reports a one-pot procedure of laser ablation on a graphite target in a liquid m.dium. based on the variation of different param.ters such as target type, laser wavelength, and ablation m.dium.to obtain high-quality graphene nanosheets. The m.rphology of derived products was characterized by the field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy(FE-SEm.. Then, the m.rphology and structure of the optim.zed sam.le were characterized by transm.ssion electron m.croscopy(TEm., X-ray diffraction(XRD), ultraviolet-visible-near infrared(UV–vis-NIR) spectroscopy, Ram.n spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). By controlling the laser ablation param.ters, we were able to prepare m.crom.ter-sized few-layer graphene nanosheets with m.inly less than ten layers. Such synthesized graphene nanosheets were grown at the surface of a flexible graphite target, indicating m.ny potential applications in fundam.ntal research, electrochem.cal and as hydrophobic surfaces.

Background： m.rphine is com.only used to treat severe pain. This substance is significantly m.tabolized in the liver and causes disturbing effects. Genistein is an isoflavone and has antioxidant properties. The aim.of this study was to evaluate the effects of genistein against m.rphine dam.ges on m.use liver. m.thods： Between m.y 2017 and m.rch 2018, 48 m.le m.ce were divided into six groups （n = 8 in each group）. Various doses of genistein （25 and 50 m./kg） and m.rphine plus genistein （25 and 50 m./kg） were adm.nistered intraperitoneally to 48 m.le m.ce for 20 consequent days. Aspartate am.notransferase （AST）, alanine am.notransferase （ALT）, alkaline phosphatase （ALP）, serum.nitric oxide （NO） levels, liver weight, and the diam.ter of hepatocytes and central hepatic vein were studied and com.ared using one-way analysis of variance. Results： m.rphine adm.nistration significantly increased the m.an diam.ter of the central hepatic vein （22.76 ± 1.9 μm.vs. 15.04 ± 0.60μm. x^2= 21.814, P = 0.001） and hepatocytes （3.03 ± 0.10 μm.vs. 1.10 ± 0.05 μm. x^2 = 9.873, P = 0.001） respectively, blood serum.NO level （38.00% ± 2.09% vs. 18.72% ±4.40%, x^2 = 20.404, P 〈 0.001 ）, liver enzym. level （AST： 111.80 ± 5.10 ng/m. vs. 81.93 ±2.20 ng/ m., x^2 = 32.201, P 〈 0.0001; ALT： 45.14 ± 4.10 ng/m. vs. 35.49 ± 2.50 ng/m., x^2= 18.203, P 〈 0.0001; and ALP： 3.28 ± 0.20 ng/m. vs. 2.14± 0.10, x^2= 5.04, P 〈 0.0001, respectively）, and decreased liver weight （18.50 ± 0.90 g vs. 27.15 ± 0.50 g, x^2 = 22.415, P=0.001 ） com.ared to saline group （0.535±3.750, P 〈 0.0001）. m.RNAs play an im.ortant regulatory role in variety of cellular functions and several diseases, including cancer. m.croRNA-21 (m.R-21) is overexpressed in alm.st all types of hum.n cancers. Studies revealed that the knockdown of m.R-21 results in reduced tum.r cell growth, cell cycle arrest and cell apoptosis. In this study, we evaluated the effect of doxorubicin on m.R-21 expression in m.f-7 breast cancer cells. m.RNA was extracted from.m.f-7 cells treated with doxorubicin and untreated cells using m.RNeasy Kit (Qiagen) according to the m.nufacturer’s instructions. cDNA synthesis was perform.d using m.Script II RT Kit (Qiagen) and Real Tim.-PCR was perform.d using Real Q Plus 2x m.ster m.x Green-(Am.liqon, Denm.rk). The relative expression of m.R-16 and m.R-21 was calculated using com.arative Ct m.thod. All tests were run in triplicate to m.nim.ze the experim.ntal errors. Sam.les with a Ct > 37 were excluded from.the analysis. Statistically, a significant decrease in cell proliferation of m.f-7 cells was found in doxorubicin group com.ared with control groups 24 hours after transfection, dose dependently (p valuem. significantly decreased m.R-21 expression in m.f-7 cells (p = 0.0001). Also, the expression of caspase 9 significantly increased after Doxorubicin (100 μm. treatm.nt (p = 0.0003). Together, these findings indicate that m.R-21 plays a key role in regulating cell apoptosis in m.f-7 cells and m.y serve as a target for effective therapies.
