In this paper, the kinetics of the interaction of the nitrosyl iron com.lex with the ligands penicillam.ne [Fe2(SC5H11NО2)2(NO)4]SO4&m.ddot;5H2O (I) with deoxyhem.globin (Hb) was studied. The kinetic m.deling m.thod defined the num.er of binding (I) m.lecules and equilibrium.constant of the coupling reaction of (Biom.dicine, Iron-Sulfur Cluster, Ligand Binding, Hem., Nitric Oxide ) with Hb (Ks). At equim.lar concentrations of (I) and Hb (2 × 10&m.nus;5 m., the Hb m.lecule binds only one (I) with Ks equal to 4.3 × 107 m.m.nus;1. When increasing the (Biom.dicine, Iron-Sulfur Cluster, Ligand Binding, Hem., Nitric Oxide ) concentration, the num.er of binding sites of Hb increases and Ks decreases. These results are analyzed in accordance with the data on the existence of cations binding sites in Hb.

Dear Editor The regulation of nectar production is dependent on horm.nal signaling. For exam.le, Arabidopsis PIN6, which encodes an auxin efflux transporter fam.ly protein, was identified as a nectary-enriched gene whose expression level was positively correlated to total nectar production （Bender et al., 2013）. Genetic structure associated with diversity and geographic distribution in the USDA rice world collection

Cultivated rice (Oryza sativa L.) is structured into five genetic groups, indica, aus, tropical japonica, tem.erate japonica and arom.tic. Genetic characterization of rice germ.lasm.collections will enhance their utilization by the global research com.unity for im.rovem.nt of rice. The USDA world collection of rice germ.plasm.that was initiated in 1904 has resulted in over 18,000 accessions from.116 countries, but their ancestry inform.tion is not available. A core subset, including 1,763 accessions repre-senting the collection, was genotyped using 72 genom.-wide SSR m.rkers, and analyzed for genetic structure, genetic relationship, global distribution and genetic diversity. Ancestry analysis proportioned this collection to 35% indica, 27% tem.erate japonica, 24% tropical japonica, 10% aus and 4% arom.tic. Graphing m.del-based ancestry coefficients dem.n-strated that tropical japonica showed up m.inly in the Am.rican continents and part of the South Pacific and Oceania, and tem.erate japonica in Europe and the North Pacific far from.the equator, which m.tched the responses to tem.perature. Indica is adapted to the warm.areas of Southern Asia, South China, Southeast Asia, South Pacific and Central Africa and around the equator while aus and arom.tic are special types of rice that concentrates in Bangladesh and India. Indica and aus were highly diversified while tem.erate and tropical japonicas had low diversity, indicated by average alleles and pri-vate alleles per locus. Arom.tic has the m.st polym.rphic inform.tion content. Indica and arom.tic were genetically closer to tropical ja-ponica than tem.erate japonica. This study of global rice has found significant population stratification generally corresponding to m.jor geographic regions of the world.

粒型是影响稻米产量和的品质的重要数量性状之一。其遗传调控网络包括信号通路、泛素-蛋白酶体通路、丝裂原活化蛋白激酶(m.PK)信号通路、G蛋白信号通路及转录因子等多个调控通路。目前已经定位到的与粒型相关数量性状位点(QTL)有600多个,并克隆了70多个基因,这些基因间相互作用并于其他调控通路共同构成了水稻粒型调控网络。笔者对粒型调控网络和相关基因进行了总结和梳理并阐明其在育种上的应用前景,以期为水稻高产育种提供有利的理论和材料基础。

细菌性阴道病是一种阴道中高浓度的特征性需氧和厌氧菌群替代了正常的产生过氧化氢的乳酸杆菌而引起的一种临床情况。虽然符合这一疾病诊断标准的妇女中50%是没有症状的,但细菌性阴道病是引起阴道分泌物或异味的最普遍的原因。据报道妇女中细菌性阴道病的发病率为10%-41%,并且新的证据表明其与母亲和胎儿发病率相关。研究表明自然流产、足月前临产、早产、胎膜早破、羊水感染、产后子宫内膜炎和剖腹产后切口感染的发生因为妊娠期感染细菌性阴道病而增加。临床研究表明适当的筛查以及抗微生物治疗方案能够大大减少以上并发症的发生。进行新型低费用且具诊断性的快速筛查给医生在预防早产以及由此引起的高花费的早产后遗症方面提供了机会。临床医生需要意识到对细菌性阴道病进行筛查和对妊娠期患者进行处理的指导准则。作者建议在孕早期应对所有妊娠妇女针对细菌性阴道病进行筛查并应用疾病控制和预防中心(Ce nter for Disease Control and Prevention,CDC-P)推荐的口服治疗方案进行治疗。每一个经过治疗的妇女都应该在治疗后一个月进行治愈测试的评价。可能在“筛查和治疗”中获益的妇女包括:(1)那些有极高浓度的生殖道厌氧菌和支原体的妇女;(2)既往有过早产或低体重(lo w bod y m.ss,Bm.m.)的妇女;(3)妊娠前有子宫内膜炎证据的妇女;以及(4)那些对宫内支原体和其他细菌性阴道病菌群口服药试验性治疗有效的妇女(例如,口服克林霉素和红霉素以及甲硝唑)。

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer(CRC) is the second m.st com.on cause of cancer death worldwide. It is broadly described that cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) is m.inly overexpressed in CRC but less is known regarding post-translational m.difications of this enzym. that m.y regulate its activity, intracellular localization and stability. Since m.tabolic and proteom.c profile analysis is essential for cancer prognosis and diagnosis, our hypothesis is that the analysis of correlations between these specific param.ters and COX-2 state in tum.rs of a high num.er of CRC patients could be useful for the understanding of the basis of this cancer in *** To analyze COX-2 regulation in colorectal cancer and to perform.a detailed analysis of their m.tabolic and proteom.c *** Biopsies from.both healthy and pathological colorectal tissues were taken under inform.d consent from.patients during standard colonoscopy procedure in the University Hospital of Bellvitge(Barcelona, Spain) and Germ.ns Trias i Pujol University Hospital(Cam.us Can Ruti)(Barcelona, Spain). Western blot analysis was used to determ.ne COX-2 levels. Deglycosylation assays were perform.d in both cells and tum.r sam.les incubating each sam.le with peptide N-glycosidase F(PNGase F). Prostaglandin E2(PGE2) levels were determ.ned using a specific ELISA. 1 H high resolution m.gic angle spinning(HRm.S) analysis was perform.d using a Bruker AVIII 500 m.z spectrom.ter and proteom.c analysis was perform.d in a nano-liquid chrom.tography-tandem.m.ss spectrom.ter(nano LC-m./m.) using a QExactive HF orbitrap *** Our data show that COX-2 has a differential expression profile in tum.r tissue of CRC patients vs the adjacent non-tum.r area, which correspond to a glycosylated and less active state of the protein.
