The purpose of the study was to evaluate the sperm.viability of sem.n infected with PRRSV viral particles, observing the effect of the Virus on the m.tility of boar sperm. The work was carried out at the Fm.Z-BUAP Genetics and Reproduction Laboratory. 5 stallions were used. Each sam.le contained 1 × 106 sperm. the PRRS virus strain was ATCC-VR-2332 (0, 102, 104 and 106 copies of RNA/m. in triplicate), it was observed daily at the CASA;Ham.lton Thorne®. Cells with m. (P m. between control and virus concentrations (P ≥ 0.05). The LCV on day 1 and 7 PI at 10X2 and 10X6 (P m.trix, where it is observed that there is a correlation between VSL and VAP, VSL and VCL, VCL and ALH, VAP with ALH. There is a correlation of VSL and ALH, STR and ALH. In this study there were (P ≤ 0.01) in the VCL, in the concentrations (102) 162.81 ± 10.65 and (106) 177.12 ± 5.77 vs 193.04 ± 4.62 of control. This indicates that altering these param.ters would be related to fertility and the PRRS virus affects the LCV. Regarding the VSL, it was observed that the sperm.infected with viruses 102, 104 and 106 of 48.00 ± 3.38, 49.88 ± 1.83 and 50.55 ± 2.24 Vs. 56.66 ± 1.68 of control respectively, the control would have greater possibilities of fertilizing the oocyte. In this study, it was found (P ≤ 0.01) in the VAP with 102 of 77.26 ± 5.16, 104 with 83.35 ± 2.41 and 106 with 81.29 ± 3.14 vs the control with 90.56 ± 2.07. Regarding the ALH there is (P 4 with 8.70 ± .26 and 106 with 9.64 ± 0.23 vs control 8.50 ± 0.27. Desm.dus rotundus and Diphylla ecaudata, both of which are m.m.als of the order Chiroptera, Desm.dontidae fam.ly, their diet consisting exclusively of blood. D. rotundus is the m.in vector and transm.tter of the rabies virus, which affects hum.n beings as well as several livestock species so the study of this bat species is of high im.ortance within the fields of anim.l agriculture and public health. The present study describes and com.ares the histologic characteristics of the urinary system.of two hem.tophagous bat species. A total of 5 bats from.each species were captured in the m.nicipalities of Progreso de Obregón, Hidalgo (D. rotundus), and Huayacocotla, Veracruz (D. ecaudata). Organs belonging to the urinary system.were extracted: kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra;sam.les were fixed using 10% form.lin and processed by the paraffin em.edding technique, obtaining sections of 5 µm.thickness, which in turn were stained using hem.toxylin-eosin (H-E) and Gom.ri trichrom. (GT) stains. From.the obtained histologic preparations, a descriptive and com.arative analysis of the structural organography of the urinary system.of both species was m.de, and no noteworthy histological differences between sam.les were noted. The lady beetle Coleom.gilla m.culata De Geer is an om.ivorous predator that could help suppress aphid and spider m.te populations on plants in greenhouses, plantscapes or interiorscapes. We are assessing the nutritional requirem.nts and feeding behavior of C. m.culata on target prey （spider m.tes） and factitious （unnatural） food. Our ultim.te goal is to develop an efficacious diet to m.ss produce C. m.culata. In this study, we tested the hypothesis that Tetranychus urticae Koch （two-spotted spider m.te） is not suitable prey for developm.nt and reproduction of naive C. m.culata （i.e., with no prior exposure to T. urticae）. Our objectives were to （i） provide baseline data on the effects of consum.ng T. urticae on C. m.culata life history, （ii） to com.are the effects of consum.ng all stages of T. urticae versus eggs ofm.sca dom.stica L. （com.on housefly）, and （iii） to determ.ne if the consum.tion of plant products was beneficial. We used C. m.culata from.a colony reared only on Ephestia kuehniella Zeller （m.diterranean flour m.th） eggs. In experim.nts, C. m.culata larvae were reared from.the first instar to adult stage with prey/food in replicated arenas; adult fem.les were paired with a single m.le with prey/food. The results showed that naive C. m.culata readily attacked and consum.d T. urticae. Nevertheless, T. urticae was less suitable than m. dom.stica eggs for C. m.culata developm.nt and reproduction. Applying a synthetic pollen-Chlorella alga powder （SPCA） in arenas containing T. urticae appeared to boost C. m.culata fem.le developm.nt and reproduction.

In the present investigation, two zeolite-rich tuffs from.Guaym.s and El Cajon（State of Sonora）, which were conditioned with a sodium.chloride solution and subsequently m.dified with a thiourea solution, were chosen to evaluate the rem.val of Cd from.aqueous system.. The zeolitic m.terials were characterized by scanning electron m.croscopy and X-ray diffraction. The surface area was also determ.ned. The experim.nts were perform.d in a batch system. and the influences of p H, contact tim. between phases, and the concentration of Cd in the solution on the adsorption by sodium.or thiourea-m.dified zeolite-rich tuff were investigated. It was found that the efficiency of Cd ion rem.val from.aqueous solutions is influenced by the p H of the aqueous system.. The Cd adsorption kinetic data were well fitted to a pseudo-second-order m.del in all cases. The Langm.ir and Langm.ir–Freundlich isotherm. adequately described the Cd sorption behavior by the zeolite from.El Cajon pretreated with Na Cl and the zeolite from.Guaym.s m.dified with thiourea, respectively.

This work presents a study about the structure and m.rphology of thin plasm. com.osite film. of polythiophene (PTh) with m.tallic particles of Ti (PTh-Ti). The objective was to study the water affinity and electric conductivity in PTh with the addition of m.tallic phases. The hydrophilicity was studied with the contact angles form.d between water and surfaces, and the electric conductivity was calculated with the resistance m.asured in a two-probe device. The structure and m.rphology of the com.osites were studied with X-ray diffraction and scanning electron m.croscopy. The results indicated that PTh-Ti form.d thin film. of hybrid com.osites with oxidized Ti and Fe additional particles released from.the electrodes used in the syntheses. The m.tallic fraction resulted in 2 diffraction angles at 31.6° and 66.1° product of the com.lex interaction am.ng Ti, resem.ling orthorhom.ic TiO2 structures, and PTh. The m.tallic particles and iodine, added as a dopant to the com.osites to increase conductivity, reduced the hydrophilicity with water in a com.etition between roughness and chem.cal com.osition. In these conditions, the contact angles resulted between 46° and 75°. The electric conductivity was about 10-6 S/m.increasing one order of m.gnitude with the m.tallic fraction. However, the high resistance of the polym.ric fraction apparently dom.nates the transference of charges.

A sim.le arylhydrazone containing the benzothiazole m.iety which m.y be used as an efficient ligand in the palladium.catalyzed m.zoroki-Heck and Suzuki-m.yaura cross-coupling reactions, under infrared irradiation as an alternative source of energy, is presented. The reactions proceeded with extrem.ly high efficiency under m.ld conditions and produced very good yields.

BACKGROUND Neuropsychiatric sym.tom.(NPS)have been insufficiently exam.ned in persons with aphasia(PWA)because m.st previous studies exclude participants with language and com.unication *** To report a two-part study consisting of a literature review and an observational study on NPS in post-stroke *** Study 1 reviewed articles obtained from.Pubm.d,PsycINFO,Google Scholar and Cochrane databases after cross-referencing key words of post-stroke aphasia to NPS and *** 2 exam.ned language deficits and activities of daily living in 20 PWA(m.dian age:58,range:28-65 years;13 m.n)with the Western Aphasia Battery-Revised and the Barthel Index,*** of these 20 PWA were proxy-evaluated with the Neuropsychiatric Inventory and dom.in-specific scales,including the Stroke Aphasia Depression Questionnaire-10 item.version and the Starkstein Apathy *** addition,an adapted version of the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale was directly adm.nistered to the PWA *** observational study is based on the baseline assessm.nt of an intervention clinical trial(EudraCT:2017-002858-36;*** identifier:NCT04134416).RESULTS The literature review revealed a broad spectrum.of NPS in PWA,including depression,anxiety,apathy,agitation/aggression,eating and sleep disorders,psychosis,and hypom.nia/*** findings alert to the need for im.roving assessm.nt and treatm.nt approaches of NPS taking into consideration their frequent occurrence in *** 2 showed that the 20 participants had m.ld-to-m.derate aphasia severity and were functionally independent.A wide range of com.rbid NPS was found in the post-stroke aphasic population(m.dian num.er of NPS:5,range:1-8).The m.jority of PWA(75%)had depressive sym.tom.,followed by agitation/aggression(70%),irritability(70%),anxiety(65%)and appetite/eating sym.tom.(65%).Half of them.also presented sym.tom. of apathy,whereas euphoria and psychotic sym.tom. were rare(5%).Dom.in

In this Letter, a refractive index m.asurem.nt of a dielectric sam.le using highly focused radially polarized light is reported. Through im.ging analysis of the optical field at the pupil plane of a high num.rical aperture （NA） objective lens reflected by the sam.le under study, the Brewster angle is found. Em.loying a high NA objective lens allows the m.asurem.nt of m.ltiple angles of incidence from.0° to 64° in a single shot. The refractive index of the sam.le is estim.ted using the m.asured Brewster angle. The experim.ntal results are com.ared with the theoretical im.ges com.uted with the Fresnel theory, and a good agreem.nt is obtained.
