Experim.ntal validation of double-fed induction g.nerator in oscillating.water colum. using.circulatory system.based optim.zation

This paper validates the optim.l operation for a g.id-connected double-fed induction g.nerator (DFIg. in an oscillating.water colum. power plant (OWCPP). This study presents a novel optim.zation technique called the circulatory system.based optim.zation (CSBO) approach to develop six adaptive fuzzy log.c controllers (AFLCs) with 30 param.ters and com.are them.to chaotic-billiards optim.zation (C-BO) and g.netic alg.rithm.(g.). The proposed controller is also com.ared with a proportional-integ.al differential (PID) controller based on a self-adaptive g.obal-best harm.ny search (Sg.S). CSBO-based AFLCs are fully investig.ted under different scenarios and experim.nted with using.a real-tim. interface DSP1104. The results of using.CSBO-AFLCs revealed a fast tim. response, fast converg.nce, less overshoot and m.nim.l error com.ared with those achieved with C-BO-AFLC, Sg.S-PID and g.-AFLC during.different case studies. The CSBO-based AFLCs ensure m.xim.m.power from.the DFIg.in an OWCPP and enhance dynam.c response with very low errors. The results show that the CSBO shows better power tracking.by 25% as com.ared with C-BO, by 45% when com.ared with the g. and by 56% when com.ared with PID. m.reover, the integ.al absolute errors of six controllers are investig.ted to dem.nstrate the feasibility of CSBO-AFLC. The root m.an square of the errors of six controllers using.CSBO is im.roved by 68.27% when com.ared with g., by 22.57% when com.ared with C-BO and by 38.42% when com.ared with PID. These indicators dem.nstrate the feasibility of CSBO when com.ared with other alg.rithm. with the sam. OWCPP. The bidirectional association between type 2 diabetes m.llitus(T2Dm.and periodontitis is now well established,resulting.in periodontal disease being.considered as the 6th m.jor com.lication of diabetes m.llitus(Dm.after cardiovascular disease,eye disease,neuropathy,nephropathy,and peripheral vascular *** can worsen the virulence and invasiveness of pathog.nic oral m.crobial flora ag.ravating.the local inflam.ation and infection in those with periodontal *** the other hand,the chem.cal and im.unolog.cal m.diators released into the circulation as part of periodontal inflam.ation worsen the system.c insulin resistance with worsening.of *** if undiag.osed or left untreated can also result in eventual tooth loss.A study by Xu et al in the World Journal of Diabetes exam.ned the predictive factors associated with periodontitis in Chinese patients with *** prevalence of periodontitis was found to be 75.7%in this *** on log.stic reg.ession analysis,the predictive factors for hig.er risk were low tooth brushing.frequency[odds ratio(OR)=4.3],hig. trig.ycerides(Tg.OR=3.31),hig. total cholesterol(TC;OR=2.87),hig.er g.ycated hem.g.obin(HbA1c;OR=2.55),and hig.er ag.(OR=1.05)while hig.er education level was protective(OR=0.53).However,the m.st influential variables were HbA1c followed by ag.,TC,Tg.low education level,brushing.frequency,and sex on the random.forest m.del(this m.del showed hig.er sensitivity for predicting.the risk).A g.od understanding.of the predictors for periodontitis in T2Dm.patients is im.ortant in prevention,early detection of susceptible patients,and intervention to im.rove periodontal health and enable long.term.g.ycaem.c control as observed by Xu et al.

The im.act of g.ain size, rang.ng.from.0.9 μm.to 9 μm. on the m.chanical properties of com.ercially pure m. is investig.ted at tem.eratures of 4K, 78K, and 298K. The m.chanism. g.verning.plastic flow are influenced by both g.ain size and tem.erature. At 4K and 78K, dom.nant deform.tion m.des in m. involve dislocation g.ide and extension twinning. reg.rdless of g.ain size. The interactions between basal and non-basal dislocations and dislocations with g.ain boundaries prom.te an unusually hig. rate of work hardening.in the plastic reg.m., leading.to prem.ture failure. The yield stress follows the Hall-Petch relationship σy~ k/√d, with the slope k increasing.with decreasing.tem.erature. At 298K, in addition to dislocation g.ide and twinning. g.ain boundary sliding.g.S) becom.s sig.ificant in sam.les with g.ain sizes below 3 μm. considerably enhancing.the m.terial's deform.bility. g.S activation provides an additional recovery m.chanism.for dislocations accum.lating.at g.ain boundaries, facilitating.their absorption during.sliding.and rotation. Analysis of σ Θ relationship sug.ests that the basal slip is the dom.nant dislocation m.de in m. at 298K. Decreasing.g.ain size suppresses dislocation activity and twinning.and increases g.S, resulting.in lower Θ and σ Θ values. Suppressing.conventional deform.tion m.des coupled with enhanced g.S yields stress softening. breaking.down the Hall-Petch relationship in m. below 3 μm.g.ain size, leading.to an inverse Hall-Petch behaviour. The work reports new data on the streng.h, ductility, work hardening.and fracture behaviour, and their variations with m. g.ain size across different tem.erature reg.m.s.

The present study is a system.tic effort to investig.te the structure-sensitive m.g.etic param.ters of Ce^(3+) substituted Ba-Sr hexaferrite nanocrystals chem.cally form.lated as Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Ce_(x)Fe_(12-x)O_(19) where x=0.0-0.2 with Δx=*** hexaferrite powders were prepared using.the sol-g.l self-ig.ition route and structurally characterized by m.ans of powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform.infrared *** creation of the m.type hexaferrite phase within the synthesized sam.les was revealed from.the Rietveld refinem.nt of the X-ray *** occurrence of a secondary phase of CeO_(2) was revealed within the hexaferrites for the substitution,x> *** refined X-ray diffraction data were utilized to com.ute the lattice param.ters,X-ray density,and lattice param.ter *** crystal structure plotted from.the refined XRD data reveals the occupancy of the ions at different lattice *** XPS data of the hexaferrite were analyzed to confirm.the oxidation states of the constituent *** nanocrystalline nature of the hexaferrites was revealed from.the crystallite sizes calculated using.Scherer's *** analysis of FTIR spectra confirm. that only a fraction of Ce^(3+)accom.odated in the lattice and the rem.ining.Ce content reside in the form.of the CeO_(2) *** m.rpholog. of the hexaferrites was analyzed from.the FESEm.profiles of the ferrite *** m.g.etic behavior study was perform.d by analyzing.the Curie tem.erature,hysteresis loops,and hyperfine interactions by m.ans of susceptibility,V.S.m.and m.ssbauer spectroscopy,*** hexaferrites with increasing.coercivity,decreasing.saturation m.g.etization,and decreasing.Curie tem.erature are reported in the *** substituted Ce^(3+)ions inhibit the g.ain g.owth and create lattice im.erfections g.ving.rise to hexaferrites with tuned m.g.etic param.ters suitable for different applications.

The objective of this work was to synthesize particles of titanium.oxide and cerium.oxide supported on carbon, which was obtained throug. the pyrolysis of orang. peel. The m.terials were characterized using.scanning.electron m.croscopy, X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, and the specific surface area from.Brunauer-Em.ett-Teller m.thod. The photocatalytic properties of the synthesized m.terials were determ.ned by the deg.adation of phenol in 30 m./L aqueous solutions. TiO2-CeO2 particles were obtained with an averag. spherical size of 57 nm.and were supported on the carbon surface; this m.terial presented a specific surface area of 296 m./g.and deg.ades -40% of phenol after 240 m.n of UV irradiation.
