The Anatolian peninsula is a key location to study the central portion of the Neotethys Ocean(s)and to understand how its western and eastern branches were *** of the lesser known branches of the m.sozoic ocean(s)is preserved in the northern ophiolite suture zone exposed in Turkey,nam.ly,the Intra-Pontide suture *** is located between the Sakarya terrane and the Eurasian m.rgin(i.e.,Istanbul-Zonguldak terrane)and consists of several m.tam.rphic and non-m.tam.rphic units containing ophiolites produced in supra-subduction settings from.the Late Triassic to the Early *** preserved in the m.tam.rphic units recorded pervasive deform.tions and peak m.tam.rphic conditions ranging from.blueschist to eclogite *** the nonm.tam.rphic units,the com.lete oceanic crust sequence is preserved in tectonic units or as olistoliths in sedim.ntary ***,structural,m.tam.rphic and geochronological investigations perform.d on ophiolite-bearing units allowed the form.lation of a new geodynam.c m.del of the entire"life"of the IntraPontide oceanic basin(s).The reconstruction starts with the opening of the Intra-Pontide oceanic basins during the Late Triassic between the Sakarya and Istanbul-Zonguldak continental m.croplates and ends with its closure caused by two different subductions events that occurred during the upper Early Jurassic and m.ddle *** continental collision between the Sakarya continental m.croplate and the Eurasian m.rgin developed from.the upper Early Cretaceous to the *** presented reconstruction is an alternative m.del to explain the com.lex and articulate geodynam.c evolution that characterizes the southern m.rgin of Eurasia during the m.sozoic era.

Introduction. m.ny cutaneous com.lications have been reported in patients treated with cyclosporine. Alterations of the pilosebaceous follicle are particularly frequent. Hypertrichosis, follicular keratosis, acne and folliculitis are very com.on. Nevertheless,theoccurrenceofsebaceoushyperplasiaisexceptional. Observation. A 27 year- old m.n consulted in February 2003 for a papulous eruption of the face. He was treated by cyclosporine and prednisone since his renal transplantation in 1993. The lesions flowed together on the cheeks, forehead and tem.les. The histological analysis confirm.d the diagnosis of sebaceous hyperplasia. There was a perceptible im.rovem.nt of the cutaneous state after one m.nth of isotretinoin treatm.nt. Discussion. Sebaceous hyperplasia appears in about 10 p. 100 of patients treated with cyclosporine. This side effect occurs only in m.n of a m.an age of 40 years. An increase in sebaceous gland size is often described, but profuse form. are uncom.on. Our case report is exceptional because of the young age of the patient, and the occurrence of diffuse sebaceous hyperplasia that appeared a long tim. after the introduction of cyclosporine.
