Cyber-Physical-Social System.Between a Hum.noid Robot and a Virtual Hum.n Through a Shared Platform.for Adaptive Agent Ecology

Two artificial agents(a hum.noid robot and a virtual hum.n) are enriched with various sim.lar intelligence,autonom., functionalities and interaction m.dalities. The agents are integrated in the form.of a cyber-physical-social system.CPSS) through a shared com.unication platform.to create a social ecology. In the ecology, the agents collaborate(assist each other) to perform.a real-world task(search for a hidden object)for the benefits of hum.ns. A robot-virtual hum.n bilateral trust m.del is derived and a real-tim. trust m.asurem.nt m.thod is developed. The role of taking initiative in the collaboration is switched between the agents following a finite state m.chine m.del triggered by bilateral trust, which results in a m.xedinitiative collaboration. A schem. is developed to evaluate the perform.nce of the agents in the ecology through the *** results show that the robot and the virtual hum.n perform.satisfactorily in the collaboration through the CPSS. The results thus prove the effectiveness of the real-world ecology between artificial agents of heterogeneous realities through a shared platform.based on trust-triggered m.xed-initiatives. The results can help develop adaptive social ecology com.rising intelligent agents of heterogeneous realities to assist hum.ns in various tasks through collaboration between the agents in the form.of a CPSS.

This paper presents the effects of surface finish and treatm.nt on the high cycle fatigue behaviour of vibrating cylinder block of a new two-stroke free piston engine at com.lex variable am.litude loading conditions using frequency response approach. Finite elem.nt m.delling and frequency response analysis was conducted using finite elem.nt analysis software Package ***/*** and fatigue life prediction was carded out using *** software. Based on the finite elem.nt results, different frequency response approach was applied to predict the cylinder block fatigue life. Results for different load histories and m.terial com.inations are also discussed. Results indicated great effects for all surface finish and treatm.nt. It is concluded that polished and cast surface finish conditions give the highest and lowest cylinder block lives, respectively; and that Nitrided treatm.nt leads to longest cylinder block life. The results were used to draw contour plots of fatigue life and dam.ge in the worst or m.st dam.ging case.

ZnO-CeO2 nanostructures were synthesized by sim.le and effcient low tem.erature m.thod. The structure and m.rphology of the ZnO-CeO2 nanostructures were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction （XRD） and field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy （FESEm., which revealed elongated shaped CeO2 nanoparticles with diam.ters of 40–90 nm.distributed on the surface of elongated ZnO nanostructures with diam.ters of 50–200 nm.（edge–centre）. Further the structure of the synthesized ZnO-CeO2 nanostructure was supported by Ram.n spectra and Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy （FTIR）. UV-vis absorption spectrum.was used to confirm.the optical properties of the CeO2 doped ZnO nanostructures. Photo-catalytic activity of CeO2 doped ZnO nanostructure was evaluated by degradation of acridine orange and m.thylene blue which degraded 84.55% and 48.65% in 170 m.n, respectively. ZnO-CeO2 nanostructures also showed good sensitivity （0.8331 μA·cm.2·（m.l/l）-1） in short response tim. （10 s） by applying to chem.cal sensing using ethanol as a target com.ound by I-V technique. These degradation and chem.cal sensing properties of ZnO-CeO2 nanostructures are of great im.ortance for the application of ZnO-CeO2 system.as a photo-catalyst and chem.cal sensor.

Poly（hydroxam.c acid）-poly（am.doxim.） che- lating ligands were synthesized from.poly（m.thyl acrylate-co-acrylonitrile） grafted acacia cellulose for rem.ving toxic m.tal ions from.industrial wastewaters. These ligands showed higher adsorption capacity to copper （2.80 m.ol. g-l） at pH 6. In addition, sorption capacities to other m.tal ions such as iron, zinc, chrom.um. and nickel were also found high at pH 6. The m.tal ions sorption rate （tl/2） was very fast. The rate of adsorption of copper, iron, zinc, chrom.um. nickel, cobalt, cadm.um.and lead were 4, 5, 7, 5, 5, 8, 9 and 11 m.n, respectively. Therefore, these ligands have an advantage to the m.tal ions rem.val using the colum. technique. We have successfully investigated the known concentration of m.tal ions using various param.ters, which is essential for designing a fixed bed colum. with ligands. The wastewater from.electroplating plants used in this study, having chrom.um. zinc, nickel, copper and iron, etc. For chrom.um.wastewater, ICP analysis showed that the Cr rem.val was 99.8% and other m.tal ions such as Cu, Ni, Fe, Zn, Cd, Pb, Co and m. rem.val were 94.7%, 99.2%, 99.9%, 99.9%, 99.5%, 99.9%, 95.6% and 97.6%, respectively. In case of cyanide wastewater, the m.tal rem.val, especially Ni and Zn rem.val were 96.5 and 95.2% at higher initial concentra- tion. For acid/alkali wastewater, m.tal ions rem.ving for Cd, Cr and Fe were 99.2%, 99.5% and 99.9%, respectively. Overall, these ligands are useful for m.tal rem.val by colum. m.thod from.industrial wastewater especially plating wastewater.

The num.rical m.thod of lines(m.Ls)in coordination with the classical fourth-order Runge Kutta(RK(4,4))m.thod is used to solve shallow water equations(SWEs)for foreseeing water levels owing to the nonlinear interaction of tide and surge accom.anying with a storm.along the coast of *** SWEs are developed by extending the body forces with tide generating forces(TGFs).Spatial variables of the SWEs along with the boundary conditions are approxim.ted by m.ans of finite difference technique on an Arakawa C-grid to attain a system.of ordinary differential equations(ODEs)of initial valued in tim.,which are being solved with the aid of the RK(4,4)*** grid technique is adopted to solve coastal com.lexities closely with least com.utational cost.A stable tidal solution in the region of our choice is produced by applying the tidal forcing with the m.jor tidal constituent m.(lunar sem.-diurnal)along the southern open-sea boundary of the outer *** experim.ntations are carried out to sim.late water levels generated by the cyclonic storm.AILA along the coast of *** m.del sim.lated results are found to be in a reasonable agreem.nt with the lim.ted available reported data and observations.

Background： To our knowledge, there is little study on the interaction between nutrient availability and m.lecular structure changes induced by different processing m.thods in dairy cattle. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of heat processing m.thods on interaction between nutrient availability and m.lecular structure in term. of functional groups that are related to protein and starch inherent structure of oat grains with two continued years and three replication of each ***： The oat grains were kept as raw（control） or heated in an air-draft oven（dry roasting： DO） at 120 °C for 60 m.n and under m.crowave irradiation（m.O） for 6 m.n. The m.lecular structure features were revealed by vibrational infrared m.lecular ***： The results showed that rum.n degradability of dry m.tter, protein and starch was significantly lower（P 〈0.05） for m.O com.ared to control and DO treatm.nts. A higher protein α-helix to β-sheet and a lower am.de I to starch area ratio were observed for m.O com.ared to DO and/or raw treatm.nt. A negative correlation（-0.99, P 〈 0.01）was observed between α-helix or am.de I to starch area ratio and dry m.tter. A positive correlation（0.99, P 〈 0.01） was found between protein β-sheet and crude ***： The results reveal that oat grains are m.re sensitive to m.crowave irradiation than dry heating in term. of protein and starch m.lecular profile and nutrient availability in rum.nants.

A well-known adsorbent, poly(am.doxim.)ligand, was prepared from.polyacrylonitrile(PAN) grafted kenaf cellulose, and subsequent characterization was perform.d by Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscope(FESEm. and inductively coupled plasm. m.ss spectrom.try(ICP-m.).The adsorption capacities of the prepared ligand for rare earth m.tals are found to be excellent, with adsorptions of La^(3+), Ce^(3+), Pr^(3+), Gd^(3+) and Nd^(3+) experim.ntally determ.ned to be 262, 255, 244, 241 and 233 m.·g^(-1), respectively, at pH 6. The experim.ntal values of the adsorption of rare earth m.tals are well m.tched with the pseudosecond-order rate equation. The reusability of the adsorbent is exam.ned for seven cycles of sorption/desorption,dem.nstrating that the proposed adsorbent could be reused for over seven cycles without any significant loss in the original rem.val capability of the ligand.

The nano-structural Al-doped ZnO thin film. of different m.rphologies deposited on glass substrate were successfully fabricated at substrate tem.erature of 350 ℃ by an inexpensive spray pyrolysis m.thod. The structural, electrical, optical and photolum.nescence properties were investigated. X-ray diffraction study revealed the crystalline wurtzite （hexagonal） structure of the film. with nano-grains. Scanning electron m.croscopy （SEm. m.crographs indicated the form.tion of a large variety of nano-structures during film.growth. The spectral absorption of the film. occurred at the absorption edge of -410 nm. In the present study, the optical band gap energy 3.28 eV of ZnO decreased gradually to 3.05 eV for 4 m.l% of AI doping. The deep level activation energy decreased and carrier concentrations increased substantially with increasing doping. Exciting with the energy 3.543 eV （A=350 nm., a narrow and a broad characteristic photolum.nescence peaks that correspond to the near band edge （NBE） and deep level em.ssions （DLE）, respectively em.rged.

We introduce a new integral schem. nam.ly im.roved Kudryashov m.thod for solving any nonlinear fractional differential ***,we apply the approach to the nonlinear space-tim. fractional m.del leading the wave to spread in electrical transm.ssion lines(s-tfETL),the tim. fractional com.lex Schrödinger(tfcS),and the space-tim. m.fractional Schrödinger-Hirota(s-tm.fSH)m.dels to verify the effectiveness of the proposed *** im.lem.nting of the introduced new technique based on the m.dels provides us with periodic envelope,exponentially changeable soliton envelope,rational rogue wave,periodic rogue wave,com.o periodic-soliton,and com.o rational-soliton solutions,which are m.ch interesting phenom.na in nonlinear *** the results disclose that the proposed technique is very effective and straight-forward,and such solutions of the m.dels are m.ch m.re fruitful than those from.the generalized Kudryashov and the m.dified Kudryashov m.thods.
