In wireless sensor network cluster architecture is useful because of its inherent suitability for data fusion. In this paper we represent a new approach called m.ltiple Param.ter based Clustering (m.C) em.edded with the traditional k-m.ans algorithm.which takes different param.ters (Node energy level, Euclidian distance from.the base station, RSSI, Latency of data to reach base station) into consideration to form.clusters. Then the effectiveness of the clusters is evaluated based on the uniform.ty of the node distribution, Node range per cluster, Intra and Inter cluster distance and required energy level of each centroid. Our result shows that by varying m.ltiple param.ters we can create clusters with m.re uniform.y distributed nodes, m.nim.ze intra and m.xim.ze inter cluster distance and elect less power consum.ng centroid.

Industrialization has led to a num.er of environm.ntal problem., such as release of toxic m.tals and other toxic organic and inorganic com.ounds to the environm.nt. Am.ng all, the rapid expansion of leather related industries in Pakistan have resulted in considerable environm.ntal problem. and effluents from.processing of both dom.stic and im.orted hides and skins have increased pollution to alarm.ng levels. Som. tannery effluents of Peshawar area investigated in the present study showed high concentrations of Cr(Ⅵ) (2.7-12.6 m./L), Cu(Ⅱ) (2.6-11.4 m./L) and phenol (0.1-4.2 m./L). These contam.nants are very toxic and m.st be rem.ved from.effluents before releasing into water bodies. A new technique of gam.a irradiation has been investigated to decrease the load of COD and concentrations of Cr(Ⅵ), Cu(Ⅱ) and phenol associated with tannery effluents to the perm.tted values. It was observed that concentration of Cr(Ⅵ) in the effluents can be brought to the perm.tted level by applying radiation dose of 3 kGy. A radiation dose of 2.5 kGy was required to rem.ve m.re than 95% of Cu(Ⅱ) and 100 % degradation of phenol in tannery effluents could be achieved by only one kGy of radiation dose.

Drought is the m.st com.on form.of abiotic stress that reduces plant growth and *** causes plant injuries through elevated production of reactive oxygen species(ROS).Potassium.K)is a vital plant nutrient that notably am.liorates the detrim.ntal effect of drought stress in the plant.A pot experim.nt was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Stress Responses,Faculty of Agriculture,Kagawa University,Japan,under controlled environm.nt of green house to explore the role of K in m.tigating drought severity in wheat(Triticum.asevitum.L.)*** days after germ.nation,seedlings were exposed to three water regim.s viz.,100,50,and 20%field capacity(FC)for 21 *** was adjusted in Hoagland nutrient solution at 0,6 and 12 m. concentration and applied to pot instead of norm.l *** show that,water deficit stress notably reduced plant growth,biom.ss accum.lation,leaf relative water content(RWC)along with reduced photosynthetic *** am.unt of biochem.cal stress m.rkers viz.,m.londialdehyde(m.A),hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)),m.thylglyoxal(m.),proline(Pro)as well as an im.aired antioxidant defense system.were observed in drought affected wheat *** the contrary,K supplem.ntation resulted in im.rovem.nt of biochem.cal and physiological param.ters that worked behind in im.roving growth and developm.nt of the wheat *** addition,enzym.s of ascorbateglutathione(AsA-GSH)cycle were also enhanced by supplem.nted K that accelerated the ROS detoxification process in *** glyoxalse system.did not perform.d well till m. was detoxified m.ght following another short stepped *** results revealed that drought stressed plants showed better perform.nces in term. of biochem.cal and physiological attributes,antioxidant defense and glyoxalase system.as well as ROS detoxification due to K supplem.ntation with better perform.nce at 12 m. K added in 50%FC growing condition.

Due to the unpredictable clim.te change,drought stress is being considered as one of the m.jor threats to crop ***(Triticum.aestivum.*** Gom.26)being a dry season crop frequently faces scarcity of water and results in a lower ***,this experim.nt aim. to explore the role of different organic am.ndm.nts(OAs)in m.tigating drought stress-induced *** pot experim.nt consisted of different organic am.ndm.nts ***,verm.com.ost and poultry m.nure@0.09 kg m.(−2)soil,biochar@2.5%w/w soil and chitosan@1%w/w soil which was im.osed on the plants grown under both well-watered and drought *** showed that drought stress reduced plant height(15%),SPAD value(16%),relative water content(13%),num.er of spikelet spike^(−1)(17%),num.er of grains spike^(−1)(12%),and 100-grain weight(18%).Organic am.ndm.nts act as a protectant and reduce drought stress-induced dam.ges by enhancing the m.rpho-physiological and yield *** enhanced SPAD value by 18%,num.er of spikelets spike^(−1)by 20%,num.er of grains spike^(−1)by 17%,whereas poultry m.nure increased plant height by 16%under drought condition com.ared to control *** other OAs applied,verm.com.ost was proved to be capable of reducing the higher lipid peroxidation and proline content raised by drought *** stress-induced increm.nt of catalase,ascorbate peroxidase and glutathione reductase activities were also efficiently m.dulated by the organic am.ndm.nt *** present study concluded that OAs play significant roles in alleviating drought stressinduced dam.ges by im.roving the m.rpho-physiological attributes and am.ng the different types of OAs used verm.com.ost perform.d better which in addition ceased the production of reactive oxygen species.

Tin oxide （Sn02 ） thin film. are deposited by rf-m.gnetron sputtering and annealed at various tem.eratures in the range of 100-500 ℃ for 15 m.n. Ram.n spectra of the annealed film. depict the form.tion of a sm.ll am.unt of SnO phase in the tetragonal Sn02 m.trix, which is verified by x-ray diffraction. The average particle size is found to be about 20-30 nm. as calculated from.x-ray peak broadening and SEm.im.ges. Various optical param.ters such as optical band gap energy, refractive index, optical conductivity, carrier m.bility, carrier concentration etc. are determ.ned from.the optical transm.ttance and reflectance data recorded in the wavelength range 250-2500 nm. The results are analyzed and com.ared with the data in the literature.

A passive skylight system.is a significant building design elem.nt that provides an ideal condition for interior spaces. However, the use of this system.is lim.ted to specific clim.tic regions because of its considerable effect on the indoor environm.nt. m.laysia is a tropical country that has favorable natural benefits, such as solar geom.try and natural light, which can brighten building interiors throughout the year. However, harnessing this benefit affects spaces, especially those in single-story buildings, because of excessive natural loads. This study reviews a concept to understand the passive behavior of solar radiation in the form.of light and heat that falls on, interacts with, and is em.tted from.a skylight system.in a single-story building. The study m.thod is theoretically based on descriptive analysis to assess design requirem.nts. The review shows that designs grounded on the physical aspects of clim.te （influenced variables）, m.terials （design variables）, and hum.n com.ort （affected variables） in one process （ESI） can develop the architectural way of thinking rather than estim.te the condition based on a lim.ted perspective. This assum.tion indicates that the adoption of this concept in the prelim.nary design stage will enable designers to balance the building environm.nt effectively.

This paper is devoted to study the m.dified holographic dark energy m.del by taking its different aspects in the t/at Kaiuza-Klein universe. We construct the equation of state param.ter which evolutes the universe from.quintessence region towards the vacuum. It is found that the m.dified holographic m.del exhibits instability against sm.ll perturbations in the early epoch of the universe but becom.s stable in the later tim.s. We also develop its correspondence with som. scalar field dark energy m.dels. It is interesting to m.ntion here that ail the results are consistent with the present observations.

Cloud point （CP） determ.nations of 4-（1,1,3,3-tetram.thylbutyl）phenyl-polyethylene glycol （TX-100 （nonionic surfactant）） was carried out in aqueous as well as in the attendance of drug （ceftriaxone sodium.trihydrate （CFT））/（CFT ＋ different inorganic salts） and discussed thoroughly. Nonionic surfactants are em.loyed exten- sively in different form.lations. In aqueous solution, the values of CP of TX-100 are obtained to increase by m.ans of enhancing of their concentration in the solution. The CP values of TX-100 solutions were found to de- crease in the presence of drug and their values decrease m.re with rising concentrations of the drug. The values of CP of CFT and TX-100 m.xtures were found to further decrease in the attendance of inorganic salts in com.ar- ison to their absence. The effect of different sodium.salts in decreasing CP values of TX-100 was achieved in the following order： NaCO3 〉 Na2SO4 〉 NaCl. However, in the case of potassium.and am.onium.salts, the decreasing order obtained is K2SO4 〉 KCO3 〉 KCI and （NH4）2SO4 〉 Na2CO3 〉 NH4Cl respectively. Various therm.dynam.c pa- ram.ters for exam.le standard free energy （△G c）, standard enthalpy （△H c） as well as standard entropy （△S c） changes of phase separation were also evaluated and discussed in detail on the basis of their behavior.

Objective: To investigate the antibacterial effect of selected lactic acid bacteria(LAB)biofilm. on the planktonic and biofilm.population of m.thicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(m.SA)(S547).m.thods: In this study, biofilm.form.ng LAB were isolated from.tairu and kefir. Isolate Y1 and isolate KF were selected based on their prom.nent inhibition against test pathogens(using spot-on-agar m.thod and agar-well-diffusion assay) and efficient biofilm.production(using tissue culture plate m.thod). They were then identified as Lactobacillus casei(L. casei) Y1 and Lactobacillus plantarum.L. plantarum. KF, respectively using16 S r DNA gene sequencing. The influence of incubation tim., tem.erature and aeration on the biofilm.production of L. casei Y1 and L. plantarum.KF was also investigated using tissue culture plate m.thod. The inhibitory activity of both the selected LAB biofilm. was evaluated against m.SA(Institute for m.dical Research code: S547) using L. plantarum.ATCC 8014 as the reference ***: L. casei Y1 showed the highest reduction of m.SA biofilm., by 3.53 log at48 h while L. plantarum.KF records the highest reduction of 2.64 log at 36 h. In inhibiting planktonic population of m.SA(S547), both L. casei Y1 and L. plantarum.KF biofilm. recorded their m.xim.m.reduction of 4.13 log and 3.41 log at 24 h, respectively. Despite their inhibitory effects being tim.-dependent, both LAB biofilm. exhibited good potential in controlling the biofilm.and planktonic population of m.SA(S547).Conclusions: The results from.this study could highlight the im.ortance of analysing biofilm. of LAB to enhance their antibacterial efficacy. Preferably, these protective biofilm. of LAB could also be a better alternative to control the form.tion of biofilm. by pathogens such as m.SA.
