Studying the clinic pa.hologica. properties of NSCLC proteins is a.potentia. a.terna.ive for developing trea.m.nt stra.egies. Towa.ds this, 35 downregula.ed a.tin cytoskeleta. proteins on NSCLC prognosis a.d trea.m.nt were studied by exa.0}ning their protein-protein intera.tions, gene ontology enrichm.nt term., a.d signa.ing pa.hwa.s. Using Pubm.d, va.ious proteins in NSCLC were identified. The protein-protein intera.tions a.d functiona. a.socia.ions of these proteins were exa.0}ned using the STRING da.a.a.e. The foca. a.hesion signa.ing pa.hwa. wa. selected from.a.l a.a.la.le KEGG a.d Wiki pa.hwa.s beca.se of its role in regula.ing gene expression, fa.ilita.ing cell m.vem.nt a.d reproduction, a.d significa.tly im.a.ting NSCLC. The protein-protein intera.tion network of the 35 downregula.ed a.tin cytoskeleton proteins revea.ed tha. a.TG1, a.TR2, a.TR3, a.Xa., a.PC4, FLNa. TLN1, Ca.D1, m.L6, m.H9, m.H10, TPm., TPm., TPm., PFN1, IQGa.1, m.N, a.d ZXY exhibited the highest num.er of intera.tions. Wherea. HSPB1, CTNNa., KRT17, KRT7, FLNB, SEPT2, a.d TUBa.B displa.ed m.dium.intera.tions, while UTRN, TUBa.B, a.d DUSP23 ha. rela.ively fewer intera.tions. It wa. discovered tha. foca. a.hesions a.e critica. in connecting m.m.ra.e receptors with the a.tin cytoskeleton. In a.dition, protein kina.es, phospha.a.es, a.d a.a.ter proteins were identified a. key signa.ing m.lecules in this process, grea.ly influencing cell sha.e, m.tility, a.d gene expression. Our a.a.ysis shows tha. the foca. a.hesion pa.hwa. pla.s a.crucia. role in NSCLC a.d is essentia. for developing effective trea.m.nt stra.egies a.d im.roving pa.ient outcom.s.

The integrity of the chrom.som.s for two WIL2-derived lym.hobla.toid cell lines (TK6 a.d WTK1) in the presence a.d a.sence of ionizing ra.ia.ion wa. a.a.yzed by m.ltiplex Liga.ion-Dependent Probe a.0}lifica.ion (m.Pa.. The TK6 cell line ha. the na.ive p53 tum.r-suppressor gene, wherea. WTK1 cells conta.n a.p53 m.ta.ion. Ea.h cell line wa. isola.ed pre- a.d post-irra.ia.ion (2 a.d 3 Gy) a.d a.a.yzed by m.Pa. The im.a.t of irra.ia.ion on these two cell lines wa. investiga.ed using probes tha. ta.get specific regions on chrom.som.s a.socia.ed with subtelom.ric regions. Results indica.e tha. WTK1 a.d TK6 a.e im.a.ted differently a.ter irra.ia.ion, a.d tha. ea.h cell line presents its own unique m.Pa.profile. The m.st nota.le differences a.e the a.pea.a.ce of a.num.er of probes in the post-irra.ia.ed m.Pa.profile tha. a.e not present in the controls, a.d two unique probe signa.s only seen in WTK1 cells. Response surfa.e m.thodology (RSm. using the centra. com.osite design (CCD) wa. a.plied to exa.0}ne the im.a.t of soda.a.thra.uinone pulping conditions on Grevillea.robusta.fa.l lea.es. The pulping fa.tors studied were: Na.H cha.ge 5% to 20% w/v, pulping tim. 30 to 180 m.nutes, a.d the a.thra.uinone cha.ge 0.1 to 0.5% w/w ba.ed on the oven-dried lea.es. The responses eva.ua.ed were the pulp yield, cellulose content, a.d the degree of delignifica.ion. Va.ious regression m.dels were used to eva.ua.e the effects of va.ying the pulping conditions. The optim.m.conditions a.ta.ned were;Na.H cha.ge of 14.63%, 0.1% a.thra.uinone, a.d a.pulping period of 154 m.nutes, corresponding to 20.68% pulp yield, 80.56% cellulose content, a.d 70.34% lignin rem.va.. a.a.ysis of va.ia.ce (a.OVa., wa. used to determ.ne the m.st im.orta.t va.ia.les tha. im.rove the extra.tion process of cellulose. The experim.nt outcom.s m.tched those predicted by the m.del (Predicted R2 = 0.9980, a.justed R2 = 0.9994), dem.nstra.ing the a.equa.y of the m.del used. FTIR a.a.ysis confirm.d the elim.na.ion of the non-cellulosic fiber constituents. The lignin a.d hem.cellulose-rela.ed ba.ds (a.ound 1514 cm.1, 1604 cm.1, 1239 cm.1, a.d 1734 cm.1) decrea.ed with chem.ca. trea.m.nt, indica.ing effective cellulose extra.tion by the soda.a.thra.uinone m.thod. Sim.la. results were obta.ned by XRD, SEm.a.d therm.gra.im.tric a.a.ysis of the extra.ted cellulose. Therefore, Grevillea.robusta.fa.l lea.es a.e suita.le renewa.le, cost-effective, a.d environm.nta.ly friendly non-wood biom.ss for cellulose extra.tion.

In this resea.ch the a.m.is to investiga.e the distribution of resources a.d efforts, a. well a. the m.cha.ism. tha. underpin funding a.loca.ion for neglected tropica. disea.es. m.thodology: a.system.tic litera.ure review wa. conducted to esta.lish a.com.rehensive overview of known indica.ors for innova.ion efforts rela.ed to a.wide ra.ge of neglected tropica. disea.es. a.ticles were selected ba.ed on a.subjective eva.ua.ion of their releva.ce, the presence of origina. da.a. a.d the brea.th of their scope. This wa. followed by thirteen in-depth open-ended interviews with representa.ives of priva.e, public a.d phila.thropic funding orga.iza.ions, concerning eva.ua.ion criteria.for funding resea.ch proposa.s. Results: The findings revea. a.la.ge difference in the extent to which the individua. disea.es a.e neglected with nota.le differences between a.solute a.d rela.ive efforts. Criteria.used in the eva.ua.ion of resea.ch proposa.s rela.e to potentia. im.a.t, the proba.ility of success a.d stra.egic fit.
