Fiber-reinforced polym.r (FRP) com.osites ha.e gra.ua.ly ga.ned wide a.cepta.ce a. engineering m.teria. a.plica.ions due to their unique a.va.ta.es including their high strength-to-weight ra.io a.d excellent corrosion resista.ce. This study wa. ca.ried out with com.osites prepa.ed by hot press m.lding m.thod using coconut spa.he fiber a. reinforcing m.teria. a.d HDPE (from.HDPE ca. a. obsolete polym.r) a. polym.r m.trix. Com.osites were m.de a. 150°C under 60 kN loa. by ta.ing diverse weight percenta.e (wt.%) of fiber from.0 to 20 of its tota. weight. In this resea.ch investiga.ion, different properties of the com.osites such a. bulk density, wa.er a.sorption, tensile a.d flexura. properties, im.a.t strength a.d ha.dness test properties were ca.ried out. The fiber content enha.cem.nt increa.es the bulk density in a.l com.osites. The ra.e of wa.er a.sorption im.roves with the im.rovem.nt of fiber a.dition with respect to HDPE in a.l com.osites. But the wa.er a.sorption wa. not increa.ed uniform.y with the increa.e of fiber a.dition in com.osites. In a.l ca.es, com.osites a.sorbed wa.er very ra.idly up to 80 hrs a.d then wa.er a.sorption is in sa.ura.ed condition. The m.cha.ica. properties like tensile strength (TS), flexura. strength (FS), im.a.t strength (IS) a.d ha.dness were observed to be com.a.a.ively m.re enha.ced for 5% com.osite, while further increa.ing of fiber a.dition, a.l m.cha.ica. properties cha.ges irregula.ly. The irregula. na.ure of cha.ge m.ght be ca.sed due to the over loa.ing of fiber in polym.r m.trix.

In the present tim., a.la.ge num.er of m.dified estim.tors ha.e been proposed by a.thors to obta.n efficiency. In this study, we suggested a. a.terna.ive regression type estim.tor for estim.ting finite popula.ion m.a.a.>s when there is either a positive or negative correlation between study variables and auxiliary variables. We obtained bias and mean square error equation of the proposed estimator ignoring the first-a. style="font-fa.0}ly:Verda.a.">order a.proxim.tion a.d found the theoretica. conditions tha. m.ke proposed estim.tor m.re efficient tha. sim.le ra.dom.sa.0}ling m.a. estim.tor, product estim.tor a.d ra.io estim.tor. In a.dition, these conditions a.e supported by a.num.rica. exa.0}le a.d it ha. been concluded tha. the proposed estim.tor perform.d better com.a.ing with the usua. sim.le ra.dom.sa.0}ling m.a. estim.tor, ra.io estim.tor a.d product estim.tor.

调查了土壤中配以不同量的桉树叶凋落物对温室条件生长的常见作物和树木的他感作用。用于生物鉴定物种包括三种常见农作物(Fa.en(Vigna.unguicula.a.,Chickpea.Cicer a.ietinum.,a.hor(Ca.a.us ca.a.))和两种广泛栽植树种(Sa.a.oroi(a.bizia.procera.a.d Ipil ipil(Leuca.na.leucocepha.a.)。实验材料在室温(27°C)条件下用托盘培养,混以不同剂量的凋落物的土壤培养材料的各项指标与对照比较。结果表明,桉树凋落叶诱导抑制作用,且该作用依赖于萃取物和凋落物浓度,受作用物种类型。实验用材料的剂量越高,抑制作用则越高,反之,亦然。尽管生物鉴定种均受到抑制,其中仍有表现较好的种。基于本实验结果,推荐Vigna.unguicula.a.Cicer a.ietinum.于复合农林系统中。在混交林中,Leuca.na.leucochepha.a.a.bizia.procera.较,优先选择Leuca.na.leucochepha.a.图4表7参39。

在孟加拉国吉大港大学林业与环境科学院苗圃内,评价了污泥对大叶相思种子萌发以及幼苗生长的作用。播种前,将污泥与营养匮乏的自然林土壤按不同比率混合,分别在播种后的第1,2和3个月时,记录种子萌发情况和幼苗生长参数(枝条和根系的长度、直径、枝条的鲜重和干重、根和总的干物质量)。在播种前和幼苗采收后,分别测定各个处理的污泥-土壤混合物的理化参数(pH值、有机碳、氮、磷、钾),以及重金属含量(铬、镍、锰、镉、锌)。结果表明,与对照相比,污泥-森林土壤混合物中播种的种子萌发率和幼苗生长参数发生显著变化。土壤-污泥按2:1混合时,种子萌发率最高(90%),幼苗生长速率和生物量最大,有机碳和氮磷钾含量也最高。混有工业污泥的土壤中重金属含量要高于混有住宅污泥的土壤。在工业污泥土壤中,污泥-土壤按1:1混合时,重金属含量最高。据此推荐,在退化森林土壤中,土壤-污泥以2:1混合较适合大叶相思种子萌发和幼苗生长。

We exa.0}ned the ra.e of weight ga.n a.d a.solute weight ga.n of underweight children (weight- for-a.e Z score a.ed between 6 - 24 m.nths living in a.slum.of Dha.a.city, in response to two different regim.ns of supplem.nta.y feeding. Com.a.ison wa. a.so m.de with the weight ga.n of a.hea.thy group of children from.the sa.0} loca.ity. In tota. 161 children, including 68 hea.thy children representing the control group, were enrolled for the 5 m.nths supplem.nta.ion. The two regim.ns of feeding were either rea.y-to-use thera.eutic food (RUTF, Plum.y’Nut) or loca.ly m.de cerea.-ba.ed supplem.nta.y food Pushti pa.ket which wa. recom.ended in the Na.iona. Nutritiona. Ra.e of weight ga.n in the control group wa. stea.y between 0.47 - 0.50 g/kg/da.. a.solute weight ga.ns of 1085 g, 790 g a.d 730 g were observed in the RUTF, Pushti pa.ket a.d the control groups, respectively which were significa.tly higher in the RUTF group. There wa. no sta.istica.ly significa.t difference between the RUTF a.d Pushti pa.ket groups in term. of ra.e of weight ga.n. Overa.l, weight ga.n wa. unsa.isfa.tory for both supplem.nta.ion groups. Better a.solute weight ga.n wa. observed with RUTF supplem.nta.ion com.a.ed to Pushti pa.ket which prevented further deteriora.ion in weight a.0}ng the m.lnourished children.
