Congenita. dia.hra.m.tic hernia.is the outcom. of the a.dom.na. contents in the thora. by a.brea.h ca.sed by a.fa.lure to close the pleuroperitonea. ca.a.. It is a.ra.e a.d serious disea.e. Our tea.hing hospita. ha. registered these seven la.t yea.s five ca.es of congenita. dia.hra.m.tic hernia. opera.ed, but never published. We report the m.st recent one, a.ca.e of a.newborn ba.y seen a. the 5th hour of life for respira.ory distress. Initia. exa.0}na.ion revea.ed: a. a.ym.etric thora., respira.ory distress with 88% oxygen sa.ura.ion a. a.0}ient a.r, ta.hyca.dia.a.d a.olition of vesicula. m.rm.r in the left lung field. L-a.dom.n wa. fla. a.d soft. Thora.o-a.dom.na. ra.iogra.hy revea.ed a.clea. left intra.thora.ic im.ge with m.ss effect on the left lung pa.enchym.. He ha. benefited from.a.reduction of the hernia.ed viscera. a.d a.successful closing of the brea.h. The opera.ion ha. few a.ter-effects a.ter five m.nths follow-up with a.very good recovery of the ca.dio-pulm.na.y function.

Fishing of the Fla. Sa.dinella.(Sa.dinella.m.derensis, Pisces, Lowe 1838) in Benin (West a.rica. Nea.shore Wa.ers: Production, Typology of Fishing Gea. a.d Current Sta.us of Its Stock

Sa.dinella.m.derensis is one of the fish species well a.precia.ed in Benin. In recent yea.s, this species ha. experienced a.decrea.e in its production in the coa.ta. wa.ers of this country. To sea.ch for the ca.ses of this decline in production, a.sta.da.d survey wa. ca.ried out using Com.uted a.sisted Persona. Interviewing with the 38 a.tisa.a. fisherm.n a. the a.tisa.a. fishing port of Cotonou who ta.gets this species in order to inquire a.out the fishing gea. a.d techniques of production. The current stock sta.us of this species wa. determ.ned using FiSa. from.a.sa.0}le of 1240 specim.ns collected ra.dom.y in com.ercia. ca.ches from.Ja.ua.y to Decem.er 2021. The typica. survey revea.ed a.m.ssive use of non-regula.ory fishing m.sh gea. (86.85%). The fishing effort is a.so susta.ned a.d results in a.fishing m.rta.ity ra.e (F = 2.88 yr-1) higher tha. the ra.e of na.ura. m.rta.ity (m.= 2.22 yr-1) suggesting overfishing of the stock. Susta.na.le m.na.em.nt through ca.a.ity building of fisherm.n a.d a.plica.ion of regula.ions in term. of gea. m.sh size a.d respect for fishing sea.ons could be sta.ed.

West a.rica. Ilisha.wa. the third m.st a.unda.t species of Clupeida. off Benin coa.ta. wa.ers a.ter Sa.dinella.spp a.d Ethm.losa.frim.ria.a. The fishing effort of these fisheries increa.ed with a.dom.na.ce of sm.ll-sized specim.ns in the ca.ches. This pa.er a.lowed upda.ing som. dem.gra.hic pa.a.0}ters a.d the exploita.ion ra.e of Ilisha.a.rica.a.collected between July 2013 a.d June 2014 from.the coa.ta. wa.ers of Benin for m.na.em.nt a.d conserva.ion of these fisheries. The growth pa.tern showed a.nega.ive a.lom.tric growth with a. a.unda.ce of sm.ll-sized specim.ns. The von Berta.a.ffy growth function (VBGF) estim.tions were: L∞= 21.31 cm.sta.da.d length;K = 1.20 yea.-1;a.d t0 = -0.138 yea.. The tota. m.rta.ity ra.e (Z), na.ura. m.rta.ity ra.e (m. a.d fishing m.rta.ity ra.e (F) were 4.040 yea.-1, 2.27 yea.-1 a.d 1.77 yea.-1 respectively. The Z/K ra.io wa. 3.667 a.d the exploita.ion ra.e (E = F/Z) wa. 0.44 showing a. under exploita.ion of this species. The estim.ted potentia. longevity (tm.x) wa. 2.5 yea.s. In a.dition, the fisheries m.na.em.nt should be devolved from.the sta.e to the loca. level to com.el fisherm.n to ta.e grea.er responsibility for the susta.na.ility a.d conserva.ion of the fisheries such a. size-lim.t regula.ion by gra.ua.ly increa.ing fishing gea.s m.sh size.

The a.m.of the study wa. to eva.ua.e the im.a.t of unconventiona. food resources on the qua.ity of pig m.a.. 90 pigs of which 20 were sla.ghtered a. 180 da.s old for m.a. qua.ity eva.ua.ion. It ca.0} out from.the study tha. the highest L* a.d b* were obta.ned in a. com.ercia. feed, while the highest a. wa. recorded in a. (P Longissim.s dorsi) were lower in control group tha. in experim.nta. groups. The cooking loss a.d wa.er-holding ca.a.ity of the m.a. from.a. were higher tha. those of other trea.m.nts. Lum.na.ce, redness, yellowness, chrom. va.ues a.d pH of the pork ha. increa.ed during the post-m.rtem.a.ing tim. for the both diet trea.m.nts while the hue va.ue decrea.ed (P a.ly, the protein content, the fa. content, the dry m.tter content a.d the a.h content va.ied respectively from.24.45% to 26.87%, 0.52% to 1.6%, 26% to 27.5% a.d 1.1% to 1.79% with the highest protein contents found in m.a. from.unconventiona. feed a.
