a. experim.nt wa. conducted a. the m.cology la.ora.ory, Depa.tm.nt of Pla.t Pa.hology, Sher-e-Ba.gla.a.ricultura. University, Dha.a. Ba.gla.esh to find out the effica.y of selected bota.ica. extra.ts a.a.nst Botrytis gla.iolorum.(Bg) ca.sing gla.iolus lea. blight. Infected lea.es sa.0}les were collected from.gla.iolus fa.m.rs’ field a.d brought to the la.ora.ory for study. Ten selected bota.ica.s were used a.a.nst the colony growth of (Bg). The bota.ica.s were m.hendi, Chrysa.them.m. Ba.il (Tulsi), Onion, Neem. Ba.l, a.juna. Ga.lic, a.oevera.(Ghritkum.ry) a.d Turm.ric. Bota.ica. extra.ts were a.plied a. the ra.e of 5%, 10% a.d 20%. The ra.ia. m.celia.growth wa. found m.nim.m.(11.60 m.) in ga.lic extra.t trea.ed pla.e a. the dose of 5% a. 5 Da., which wa. sta.istica.ly sim.la. with turm.ric extra.t trea.ed (14.00 m.) pla.e a.d the inhibition of growth wa. 60% a.d 51.72%, respectively. Sim.la. trend wa. found a. 10 Da. a.d 15 Da.. a. 15 Da., ga.lic a.d turm.ric extra.t ga.e the best result a.a.nst Bg, which wa. sta.istica.ly sim.la. with onion (50.07% inhibition) a.d m.hendi (49.93%). a.l bota.ica.s showed significa.tly different results over control a.d found effective in reducing the m.celia. growth a. the dose of 10%. a. 5 Da., no ra.ia. m.celia.growth wa. found in ga.lic trea.ed pla.e, which wa. sta.istica.ly sim.la. with onion trea.ed pla.e, m.a.s tha. the inhibition of growth wa. 100%. Sim.la. trend wa. a.so found a. 10 Da., a.d 15 Da. but a. 15 Da., onion (30.20 m.) ga.e the sta.istica.ly sim.la. results with Ga.lic (30.10 m.0}d the m.celia.growth inhibition wa. (57.70%) a.d (57.84%), respectively. In ca.e of 20% dose, ga.lic extra.t showed the best result a. 5 Da. a.d the ra.ia. m.celia.growth wa. found m.nim.m.(00.00 m.) which wa. sta.istica.ly sim.la. with onion extra.t trea.ed (00.00 m.) pla.e a.d turm.ric extra.t trea.ed pla.e. In this pa.er, wind velocities a.d directions （sea.a.d la.d） a.e recorded in different da.s a.d tim.s. The da.a.collected were com.a.ed with the wea.her da.a.from.the Brunei Da.ussa.a.0}m.teorologica. Service （BDm.） a.d the findings of other resea.chers a.d were found to be in good a.reem.nt. The potentia. of wind energy is predicted from.the a.a.la.le da.a.collected. The a.era.e genera.ed power （forenoon a.d a.ternoon） is found to be 25 （m.a.） a.d 18W （m.dia.）, 101 （m.a.） a.d 73W （m.dia.）, 912 （m.a.） a.d 660 W （m.dia.）, 10137 （m.a.） a.d 7331 W （m.dia.） for a.rotor with a.dia.0}ter of 2.5, 5, 15 a.d 50 m. respectively. The power density Pd for wind fa.m.ng is found to be 0.26 （m.a.） a.d 0.19 （m.dia.）, 0.31 （m.a.） a.d 0.22 （m.dia.） for the rotor whose dia.0}ter is 2.5 a.d 50 m. respectively, while the a.era.e Pd va.ues a.e found to be 0.28 （m.a.） a.d 0.2 （m.dia.） for the rotor whose dia.0}ter is 5 a.d 15 m.

This study dea.s with Nd：Ya. la.er cutting nonm.ta.lic m.teria.s, which is one of the m.st im.orta.t a.d popula. industria. a.plica.ions of la.er. The m.in them. is to eva.ua.e the effects of Nd：Ya. la.er bea.0}power besides work piece sca.ning speed. For a.proxim.te cutting depth, a.theoretica. study is conducted in term. of m.teria. property a.d cutting speed. Results show a.nonlinea. rela.ion between the cutting depth a.d input energy. There is no significa.t effect of speed on cutting depth with the speed being la.ger tha. 30 m./s. a. extra.energy is utilized in the deep cutting. It is inferred tha. a. the la.er power increa.es, cutting depth increa.es. The experim.nta. outcom.s a.e in good a.reem.nt with theoretica. results. This a.a.ysis will provide a.guideline for la.er-ba.ed industry to select a.suita.le la.er for cutting, scribing, trim.ing, engra.ing, a.d m.rking nonm.ta.lic m.teria.s.

The hum.n hea. is one of the m.st sensitive pa.ts of hum.n body due to the fa.t tha. it conta.ns bra.n. a.y a.norm.lity in the functioning of bra.n m.y disturb the entire system. One of the disturbing fa.tors of bra.n is therm.l stress. Thus, it is im.era.ive to study the effects of therm.l stress on hum.n hea. a. va.ious environm.nta. conditions. For the therm.regula.ion process, the hum.n hea. is considered to be a.structure of four la.ers viz.; bra.n, cerebrospina. fluid (CSF), skull a.d sca.p. a.m.them.tica. m.del ha. been form.la.ed to estim.te the va.ia.ion of tem.era.ure a. these la.ers. The m.del is ba.ed on ra.ia. form.of bio-hea. equa.ion with the a.propria.e bounda.y conditions a.d ha. been solved by va.ia.iona. finite elem.nt m.thod. The ra.e of m.ta.olic hea. genera.ion a.d therm.l conductivity in this study ha.e been a.sum.d to be heterogeneous. The results were com.a.ed with the experim.nta. studies for their coincidence a.d it ha. been observed theoretica.ly a.d experim.nta.ly tha. the hum.n hea. ha. grea.er resista.ce to com.ete with the therm.l stress up to la.ge extent.
