On the dielectric response function and dispersion relation in strongly coupled magnetized dusty plasmas

Using the generalized viscoelastic fluid model, we derive the dielectric response function in a strongly coupled dusty magnetoplasma which reveals two different dust acoustic（DA） wave modes in the hydrodynamic and kinetic limits. The effects of the strong interaction of dust grains and the external magnetic on these DA modes, as well as on the shear wave are examined. It is found that both the real and imaginary parts of DA waves are significantly modified in strongly coupled dusty magnetoplasmas. The implications of our results to space and laboratory dusty plasmas are briefly discussed.

A theoretical investigation is carried out to study the existence,formation and basic properties of ion acoustic(IA) double layers(DLs) in a magnetized bi-ion plasma consisting of warm/cold ions and Boltzmann distributed *** on the reductive perturbation technique,an extended Korteweg de-Vries(KdV) equation is *** propagation of two possible modes(fast and slow),and their evolution are *** effects of obhqueness,magnitude of the magnetic field,ion concentration,polarity of ions,and ion temperature on the IA DL profile are analyzed,and then the ranges of parameters for which the IA DLs exist are investigated in details.

The theory of dynamical （wa＆e） potential behind a moving test charge in a weakly coupled dusty plasma is extended to that including of strong interaction between dust grains. Such strong interaction is included in the dielectric response function by a generalized hydrodynamic （GH） fluid model. It is shown that the strong interaction between dusts including the lattice spacing correction has a significant effect on the wake potential in dusty plasma. This may be used to investigate basic features of phase transition and possibility of lattice formation of dusty plasma.

The force on a charged dust grain in a plasma due to polarization of thermal ions and degenerate electrons around the grain is derived in the limits of weakly relativistic and ultra-relativistic degeneracy of electrons. It is found that in both these cases, the magnitude of the polarization force is enhanced compared to that in classical plasmas. The influence of this force on dust-acoustic(DA) modes is examined and discussed. It is shown that the DA wave frequency in degenerate plasmas is significantly reduced compared to the classical DA mode.

Large amplitude dust ion acoustic （DIA） solitons as well as double layers （DLs） are studied in a dusty plasma having a high-energy-tail electron distribution. The influence of electron deviation from the maxwellian distribution and ion streaming on the existence domain of solitons is discussed in the （m, f） space using the pseudo-potential approach. It is found that in the presence of streaming ions and for a fixed f, solitons may appear for larger values of m. This means that in the presence of ion streaming, high values of the mach number are needed to have soliton. The DIA solitary waves profile is highly sensitive to the ion streaming speed. Their amplitude is found to decrease with an increase of the ion streaming speed. In addition, we find that the ion streaming effect may lead to the appearance of double layers. The results of this axticle should be useful in understanding the basic nonlinear features of DIA waves propagating in space dusty plasmas, especially those including a relative motion between species, such as comet tails and solar wind streams, etc.
