The present study is a systematic effort to investigate the structure-sensitive magnetic parameters of Ce^(3+) substituted Ba-sr hexaferrite nanocrystals chemically formulated as Ba_(0.5)sr_(0.5)Ce_(x)Fe_(12-x)O_(19) where x=0.0-0.2 with Δx=*** hexaferrite powders were prepared using the sol-gel self-ignition route and structurally characterized by means of powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared *** creation of the m-type hexaferrite phase within the synthesized samples was revealed from the Rietveld refinement of the X-ray *** occurrence of a secondary phase of CeO_(2) was revealed within the hexaferrites for the substitution,x> *** refined X-ray diffraction data were utilized to compute the lattice parameters,X-ray density,and lattice parameter *** crystal structure plotted from the refined XRD data reveals the occupancy of the ions at different lattice *** XPs data of the hexaferrite were analyzed to confirm the oxidation states of the constituent *** nanocrystalline nature of the hexaferrites was revealed from the crystallite sizes calculated using scherer's *** analysis of FTIR spectra confirms that only a fraction of Ce^(3+)accommodated in the lattice and the remaining Ce content reside in the form of the CeO_(2) *** morphology of the hexaferrites was analyzed from the FEsEm profiles of the ferrite *** magnetic behavior study was performed by analyzing the Curie temperature,hysteresis loops,and hyperfine interactions by means of susceptibility,V.s.m,and mossbauer spectroscopy,*** hexaferrites with increasing coercivity,decreasing saturation magnetization,and decreasing Curie temperature are reported in the *** substituted Ce^(3+)ions inhibit the grain growth and create lattice imperfections giving rise to hexaferrites with tuned magnetic parameters suitable for different applications.

Thermal fatigue behavior of hard chromium electroplated steel in three different crack intensities of high contraction(HC), medium contraction (mC) and low contraction (LC) was studied. maximum and minimum temperaturesduring thermal cycle were 800 and 100℃, respectively. The topography and cross sections of the samples exposedto 50, 100 and 200 thermal cycles were studied. The thermal fatigue behavior was analyzed using the data obtainedfrom surface roughness, crack networks and stress induced during cycles. Although the as-coated sample with LCchromium contained no crack, it appeared to have a high crack density after only 50 cycles. The crack depth andwidth in cyclically oxidized LC coating were much less than those in mC and HC coatings. It was concluded that theLC coating protected the substrate from having cracks or subsurface oxidation during thermal fatigue. The cracksin the HC and mC coatings increased in density as well as in depth by thermal cycles. moreover, the opening of thecracks to the substrate resulted in sub-surface oxidation.

A comparative study of radio-frequency atmospheric pressure glow discharge(rf APGD)generated in helium with and without dielectric electrodes to investigate the effect of electrodes insulation on electrical features of APGD is presented. In the α mode, both the rf APGDs remain volumetric, stable and uniform. In the γ mode, the APGD without dielectric electrodes shrinks into a constricted plasma column whereas APGD with dielectric electrodes remains stable and retains the same volume without plasma constriction even at higher densities of discharge current. A comparison of electrical features of both rf APGDs in normal and abnormal glow discharge regimes is presented. In both APGDs with and without dielectric electrodes,impedance measurements have been performed and compared with equivalent circuit *** measured impedance data is found to be in good agreement with simulated data.

For the long-term fortification of warehoused crops, the insecticidal impact of cold plasma treated wheat seeds against red flour beetles are *** this study, the gain weight loss,mortality and repellency tests of cold plasma treated seeds are investigated and statistical analysis is carried out by sPss *** plasma treatment is carried out at 800 V for 1 and 4 *** results show that the minimum grain weight loss is observed in plasma treated seeds as compared to controlled *** is also observed that the mortality rate is minimum in the controlled seed while maximum at 4 min plasma ***, the repellent effect has a very small variation as compared to the controlled seed for Tribolium ***, plasma treatment can be considered as a practical and effective method for seed protection against red floor beetles particularly during long-term storage by controlling the insecticidal effects.

The present paper discusses entropy generation in fully developed turbulent flows through a subchannel,arranged in square and triangle arrays. Entropy generation is due to contribution of both heat transfer and pressure drop. Our main objective is to study the effect of key parameters such as spacer grid, fuel rod power distribution,Reynolds number Re, dimensionless heat power ω, lengthto-fuel-diameter ratio λ, and pitch-to-diameter ratio ξ on subchannel entropy generation. The analysis explicitly shows the contribution of heat transfer and pressure drop to the total entropy generation. An analytical formulation is introduced to total entropy generation for situations with uniform and sinusoidal rod power distribution. It is concluded that power distribution affects entropy generation.A smoother power profile leads to less entropy *** entropy generation of square rod array bundles is more efficient than that of triangular rod arrays, and spacer grids generate more entropy.

BACKGROUND Hepatitis C virus(HCV)infection and its consequent complications are undeniably a public health burden worldwide,particularly in *** evidence suggests that many lncRNAs have relevant roles in viral infections and antiviral *** To investigate the expression profiles of circulating lncRNAGAs5,lncRNAHEIH,lncRNABIsPR and mRNABsT2 in naïve,treated and relapsed HCV Egyptian patients,to elucidate relation to HCV infection and their efficacy as innovative biomarkers for the diagnosis and prognosis of HCV *** One hundred and thirty HCV-infected Egyptian patients and 20 healthy controls were included in this *** lncRNAs and mRNABsT2 were measured using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).REsULTs Our results indicated that serum lncRNAGAs5 and LncRNABIsPR were upregulated,whereas mRNA BsT2 and LncRNA HEIH were downregulated in naïve *** contrast,HCV patients treated with sofosbuvir and simeprevir;with sofosbuvir and daclatasvir;or with sofosbuvir,daclatasvir and ribavirin exhibited lower levels of lncRNAGAs5 and lncRNABIsPR with higher mRNABsT2 compared to naïve ***,patients relapsed from sofosbuvir and simeprevir showed higher levels of these lncRNAs with lower mRNABsT2 compared to treated ***5 and lncRNABIsPR were positively correlated with viral load and ALT at Ps mRNABsT2 was negatively correlated with viral load at Psignificant positive correlation between lncRNA HEIH and AFP was observed at Pssion of these RNAs suggests their involvement in HCV pathogenesis or antiviral response and highlights their promising roles in diagnosis and prognosis of HCV.

We solve the schrodinger equation with a position-dependent mass（PDm） charged particle interacted via the superposition of the morse-plus-Coulomb potentials and is under the influence of external magnetic and Aharonov–Bohm（AB） flux fields. The nonrelativistic bound state energies together with their wave functions are calculated for two spatially-dependent mass distribution functions. We also study the thermal quantities of such a system. Further, the canonical formalism is used to compute various thermodynamic variables for second choosing mass by using the Gibbs formalism. We give plots for energy states as a function of various physical parameters. The behavior of the internal energy, specific heat, and entropy as functions of temperature and mass density parameter in the inverse-square mass case for different values of magnetic field are shown.

This work deals with the numerical localization of small electromagnetic inhomogeneities. The underlying inverse problem considers, in a three-dimensional bounded domain, the time-harmonic maxwell equations formulated in electric field. Typically, the domain contains a finite number of unknown inhomogeneities of small volume and the inverse problem attempts to localize these inhomogeneities from a finite number of boundary measurements. Our localization approach is based on a recent framework that uses an asymptotic expansion for the perturbations in the tangential boundary trace of the curl of the electric field. We present three numerical localization procedures resulting from the combination of this asymptotic expansion with each of the following inversion algorithms： the Current Projection method, the mUltiple signal Classification （mUsIC） algorithm, and an Inverse Fourier method. We perform a numerical study of the asymptotic expansion and compare the numerical results obtained from the three localization procedures in different settings.

The southern part of the Eastern Desert of Egypt—about 30 km southwest of Abu-Ramad city—is mainly covered by ophiolitic rocks(sul Hamed), island arc assemblage, younger granites(muscovite granites of Qash Amer and two mica granites of El sela), and various acidic and basic dikes. Field, petrological, and geochemical studies indicate that the El sela shear zone has been subject to hydrothermal and supergene alteration such as kaolinization, albitization, sericitization, and hematitization. It is invaded by quartz ENE–WsW veins associated with hydrothermal alteration accompanied by radioactive mineralization. The investigated younger granitic rocks had very low contents of compatible elements, such as Cr, Ni,and Co; and high contents of incompatible elements, such as Zr, and large ion lithophiles, such as sr, especially in the El sela shear zone. major oxide and trace element analyses revealed calc-alkaline affinity and peraluminous *** highly differentiated granitic rocks' lower Zr/Hf and higher Y/Ho than the normal ratio are consistent with hydrothermal alteration. most samples had rare earth element(REE)-patterns with an m-type tetrad effect in the first and fourth segments and a W-type tetrad in the third segment. The average ∑REE in the studied granites was lower than the world granite average; the ratio of light to heavy REEs greater. The main radioactive, uranium-bearing, and uraniferous Fe and mn minerals are uranothorite,autunite, uranophane and autunite as compounds, kasolite,columbite, xenotime, uranophane-bearing zircon and jarosite, silver-bearing pyrite, hematite, and autunite-bearing pyrolusite.
