It is common practice for data providers to include text descriptions for each column when publishing data sets in the form of data *** these documents are useful in helping an end-user properly interpret the meaning of a column in a data set,existing data dictionaries typically are not machine-readable and do not follow a common specification *** introduce the Semantic Data Dictionary,a specification that formalizes the assignment of a semantic representation of data,enabling standardization and harmonization across diverse data *** this paper,we present our Semantic Data Dictionary work in the context of our work with biomedical data;however,the approach can and has been used in a wide range of *** rendition of data in this form helps promote improved discovery,interoperability,reuse,traceability,and *** present the associated research and describe how the Semantic Data Dictionary can help address existing limitations in the related *** discuss our approach,present an example by annotating portions of the publicly available National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data set,present modeling challenges,and describe the use of this approach in sponsored research,including our work on a large National Institutes of Health(NIH)-funded exposure and health data portal and in the RPI-IBm collaborative Health Empowerment by Analytics,Learning,and Semantics project.

Analysis of Neutronics and Thermal-Hydraulic Behavior in a Fuel Pin of Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR)

This paper presents a comparative analysis of different parameters such as enthalpy, moderator temperature, moderator density, flow velocity, pressure, and fuel temperature profile at the fuel pin cell level of PWR. moreover, in this paper pitches to fuel pin radius ratio are varied from 2.3 to 4. The methods and implementation strategy are such that the coupled neutronic and thermal-hydraulic analysis is executed in a fully one dimensional (1D) manner. The thermal hydraulic is based on moderator/coolant mass and enthalpy equation together with one group diffusion equation for fuel pin. modelling of fuel pin cell and subchannel is executed in two steps. First, the governing equations are derived assuming that all the parameters appearing in the equations are temperature independent. Fuel pin centerline temperature and radially averaged temperature equations are derived from Fourier laws of thermal conductivity. Finally, diffusion coefficient, fission cross-section and absorbing cross-section are evaluated with respect to the fuel pin temperature. The outcome will be helpful for further neutronics and thermal analysis of PWR. Thermal hydraulics parameter varies the maximum 30 percentage from the lowermost value.

Anatomical studies on water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes (mart.) Solms) under the influence of textile wastewater

Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes (mart.) Solms) is a prolific free floating aquatic macrohpyte found in tropical and subtropical parts of the earth. The effects of pollutants from textile wastewater on the anatomy of the plant were studied. Water hyacinth exhibits hydrophytic adaptations which include reduced epidermis cells lacking cuticle in most cases, presence of large air spaces (7～50 μm), reduced vascular tissue and absorbing structures. Textile waste significantly affected the size of root *** presence of raphide crystals was noted in parenchyma cells of various organs in treated plants.

Correlation of tumor-associated macrophage density and proportion of m2 subtypes with the pathological stage of colorectal cancer

The objective of this investigation is to assess the effect of obstacles on numerical heat transfer and fluid flow momentum in a rectangular microchannel(mC).Two distinct configurations were studied:one without obstacles and the other with alternating obstacles placed on the upper and lower *** research utilized the thermal lattice Boltzmann method(LBm),which solves the energy and momentum equations of fluids with the BGK approximation,implemented in a Python coding *** jump and slip velocity conditions were utilized in the simulation for the mC and extended to all obstacle *** study aims to analyze the rarefaction effect,with Knudsen numbers(Kn)of 0.012,0.02,and *** outcomes indicate that rarefaction has a significant impact on the velocity and temperature *** presence of nine obstacles led to slower fluid movement inside the microchannel mC,resulting in faster cooling at the *** mCs with obstacles,the rarefaction effect plays a crucial role in decreasing the Nusselt number(Nu)and skin friction coefficient(Cf).Furthermore,the study demonstrated that the obstacles played a crucial role in boosting fluid flow and heat transfer in the *** findings suggest that the examined configurations could have potential applications as cooling technologies in micro-electro-mechanical systems and microdevice applications.

Prevalence of Bovine Tuberculosis in Sheep at Sadar and Parbatipur Upazila under Dinajpur District in Bangladesh

Tuberculosis is Zoonotic disease and infected animals continue to spread the disease to other animals and humans by excreting the germs in milk, meat, feces, and respiratory droplets, this study used bPPD (Bovine purified protein derivative) to observe TST (Tuberculin skin test) reactivity in the Sheep population in the Sadar and Parbatipur Upazilas of Dinajpur District. The research conducted from January to June of 2018. There is no history for sheep tuberculosis in the study area. Overall, 5 percent (7/140) of 140 sheep were positive, 15% (21/140) were doubtful, and 80% (112/140) were negative based on sex, age, breed, and body condition score, while lactation stage and reproduction status prevalence was 6.4 percent, 14.9 percent, and 78.7% positive, doubtful, and negative, respectively. Our findings suggest the presence of a skin test reaction response when employing the bPPD reagent, but this needs to be validated by pathological and serological techniques. Nevertheless, my preliminary investigation suggests that abattoirs must implement effective control systems and raise public awareness.

Relationship between Seed Priming mediated Seedling Vigor and Yield Performance of Spring Wheat

Seed priming is a pre-germinated technique that can enhance seed germination percentage,faster and synchro-nized germination,better seedling growth,and yield under stress *** ascertain the most effective seed priming method that would ensure the potential yield of wheat in Bangladesh,two experiments were carried out from December 2021 to march 2022 at the Department of Agronomy,Bangladesh Agricultural *** wheat varieties namely BARI Gom-28 and BWmRI Gom-1 were subjected to a range of priming chemicals in both lab and pot *** compounds included the following:control(no priming),hydropriming(distilled water),10000 ppm KNO_(3),15000 ppm KNO_(3),40000 ppm mannitol,60000 ppm mannitol,10000 ppm NaCl,20000 ppm NaCl,100 ppm PEG,150 ppm PEG,500 ppm NaOCl,1000 ppm NaOCl,10000 ppm CaCl_(2),20000 ppm CaCl_(2),10000 ppm KCl and 20000 ppm KCl.A complete randomized design(CRD)with three repli-cations was used to set up the *** results showed that BARI Gom-28 and BWmRI Gom-1 responded best to KCl priming in terms of rapid seed germination and strong seedling *** the other hand,the best priming agents for plant growth and productivity turned out to be CaCl_(2) and *** results of this study support the possibility of using seed priming as a technique to improve wheat plant development and output by raising seed emergence and survival rates.

BACKGROUND Detection of early chronic changes in the kidney allograft is important for timely intervention and long-term *** and novel ultrasound-based investigations are being increasingly used for this purpose with variable *** To compare the diagnostic performance of resistive index(RI)and shear wave elastography(SWE)in the diagnosis of chronic fibrosing changes of kidney allograft with histopathological *** This is a cross-sectional and comparative study.A total of 154 kidney transplant recipients were included in this study,which was conducted at the Departments of Transplantation and Radiology,Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation,Karachi,Pakistan,from August 2022 to February *** consecutive patients with increased serum creatinine levels and reduced glomerular filtration rate(GFR)after three months of transplantation were enrolled in this *** and RI were performed and the findings of these were evaluated against the kidney allograft biopsy results to determine their diagnostic *** The mean age of all patients was 35.32±11.08 *** these,126(81.8%)were males and 28(18.2%)were *** mean serum creatinine in all patients was 2.86±1.68 mg/dL and the mean estimated GFR was 35.38±17.27 mL/min/1.73 *** allograft biopsy results showed chronic changes in 55(37.66%)*** sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value(PPV),and negative predictive value(NPV)of SWE for the detection of chronic allograft damage were 93.10%,96.87%%,94.73%,and 95.87%,respectively,and the diagnostic accuracy was 95.45%.For RI,the sensitivity,specificity,PPV,and NPV were 76.92%,83.33%,70.17%,and 87.62%,respectively,and the diagnostic accuracy was 81.16%.CONCLUSION The results from this study show that SWE is more sensitive and specific as compared to RI in the evaluation of chronic allograft *** can be of great help during the routine follow-up of kidney transplant recipients for screening a

On Line measurement of Reactivity Worth of TRIGA mark-II Research Reactor Control Rods

The reactivity worth measurement system for control rods of the TRIGA mARK-II research reactor of Bangladesh has been design and developed. The theory of the kinetic technique of measuring reactivity has been used by this measurement system. The system comprises of indigenous hardware and software for online acquisition of neutron flux signals from reactor console and then computes the reactivity worth accordingly. Here for the TRIGA mARK-II research reactor, the reactivity measurement system was implemented with a dedicated circuit assembly and a conventional personal computer. A high-level Visual Basic real-time programming has been developed for data acquisition, reactivity calculation, online display (numerically as well as graphically), saving data, etc. To measure reactivity worth of TRIGA reactor control rods the rod drop experimental technique has been adopted. The results of tests experiments, carried out with the rod drop method for measuring various reactivity worth of control rods have been presented in the paper. A comparison between this results with the results using period method and that of computation method, demonstrated that the response of this reactivity measurement system is fast enough to monitor and measure the safety-related reactivity and power excursions in the reactor.
