This work reports the cost-effective growth of mg:PbI2 nanostructures with 0,1,2.5 and 5.0 wt.%mg doping ***,vibrational,morphological properties are analyzed using x-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEm).XRD and Raman studies confirm the monophasic hexagonal system of mg:PbI2,and no additional impurity peaks are *** Scherrer formula is used to determine sizes of crystallites to be in the range of 47-52 ***/SEm e-mapping analyses confirm the incorporation of mg in PbI2 matrix and its uniform distribution throughout the *** hexagonal nanosheet-and nanoplate-like morphologies are detected in SEm images for pure and mg-doped *** optical band gap of nanostructures is obtained from Tauc’s relation to be in the range 3.0-3.25 *** and electrical properties are found in significant enhancement as mg doping in PbI2 matrix,also the conduction mechanism is discussed.

Using AdS/CFT correspondence,we analyze the holographic Einstein images via the response function of the complex scalar field as a probe wave on an AdS Schwarzschild scalar-tensor-vector gravity（STVG） black hole（BH）.We find that the amplitude of the response function || decreases with increasing values of coupling parameter a and increases with decreasing temperature *** frequency ω of the wave source also plays a significant role in wave periods;as we increase the values of ω,the periods of waves decrease,indicating that the total response function closely depends on the wave ***,we investigate the optical appearance of the holographic images of the BH in *** found that the holographic ring always appears with surrounding concentric stripes when the observer is located at the north pole,and an extremely bright ring appears when the observer is at the position of the photon sphere of the *** ring changes into a luminosity-deformed ring or a bright light spot as the observational angle *** corresponding brightness profiles show that the luminosity of the ring decreases and the shadow radius increases with increasing values of *** relation between temperature T and the inverse of the horizonheis discussed;T is small at the beginning of the horizon he and then increases as the horizon radius *** effect can be used to distinguish the STVG BH solution from other BH ***,these significant features are also reflected in the Einstein ring and corresponding brightness *** addition,we compare the results obtained by wave optics and geometric optics,which align well,implying that the holographic scheme adopted in this study is valid.

We investigate the accretion process for static spherically symmetric geometry, i.e., magnetically charged regular black hole with isotropic fluid. W＇e obtain generalized expressions for the velocity （u（r））, speed of sound （cs2）, energy density （ρ（r）） and accretion rate （m） at the critical point near the regular black hole during the accretion process. We also plot these physical parameters against fixed values of charge, mass and different values of equation of state parameter to study the process of accretion. We find that radial velocity and energy density of the fluid remain positive and negative as well as rate of change of mass is increased and decreased for dust, stiff, quintessence fluid and phantom-like fluid, respectively.

We examine the effects of an unparticle U as a possible source of missing energy in the p-wave decays of a B meson. The dependence of the differential branching ratio on the K0^＊（K1） - meson＇s energy is discussed in the presence of scalar and vector unparticle operators and significant deviation from the standard model value is found after addition of these operators. Finally, we have shown the dependence of the branching ratio for the above-mentioned decays on the parameters of unparticle stuff like effective couplings, cutoff scale Au and the scale dimensions du.

In this study, the mean droplet diameter in the cavity zone and the total mass transfer area of a multi-stage highspeed disperser(HSD) reactor with different packing combinations were measured and evaluated. The effects of rotational speed and packing radius, as well as the packing ring radius and numbers, on the mean droplet diameter and the total mass transfer area were evaluated. A model was established to calculate the mass transfer area in the cavity zone in the HSD reactor, and it was found that the packings contribute 61%–82% of the total mass transfer area. A correlation for predicting the mass transfer area in the packing zone was regressed by the dimensionless analysis method. An enhancement factor based on the mass transfer area in the packing zone was proposed to evaluate the effect of packing combination on mass transfer area. Two optimum packing combinations were proposed in consideration of the mean droplet diameter and the enhancement factor.

Resilience as a concept is multi-faceted with complex *** a disaster context,there is lack of consistency in conceptualizing social *** results in ambiguity of its definition,properties,and pathways for assessment.A number of key research gaps exist for critically reviewing social resilience conceptualization,projecting resilience properties in a disaster-development continuum,and delineating a resilience trajectory in a multiple disaster *** review addressed these research gaps by critically reviewing social resilience definitions,properties,and *** review found four variations in social resilience definitions,which recognize the importance of abilities of social systems and processes in disaster phases at different levels.A review of resilience properties and pathways in the disaster resilience literature suggested new resilience properties—“risk-sensitivity”and“regenerative”in the timeline of two consecutive *** review highlights a causal pathway for social resilience to better understand the resilience status in a multi-shock scenario by depicting inherent and adaptive resilience for consecutive disaster scenarios and a historical case study for a resilience trajectory in a multiple disaster *** review findings will assist disaster management policymakers and practitioners to formulate appropriate resilience enhancement strategies within a holistic framework in a multi-disaster timeline.

A numerical method is proposed to approach the Approximate Inertial man-ifolds(AIms)in unsteady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations,using multilevel fi-nite element method with hierarchical basis *** AImS,the unknown variables,velocity and pressure in the governing equations,are divided into two com-ponents,namely low modes and high ***,the couplings between low modes and high modes,which are not accounted by standard Galerkin method,are consid-ered by AIms,to improve the accuracy of the numerical ***,the multilevel finite element method with hierarchical basis functions is introduced to approach low modes and high modes in an efficient *** an example,the flow around airfoil NACA0012 at different angles of attack has been simulated by the method presented,and the comparisons show that there is a good agreement between the present method and experimental *** particular,the proposed method takes less computing time than the traditional *** a conclusion,the present method is efficient in numer-ical analysis of fluid dynamics,especially in computing time.

Copper nanoparticles were prepared by the chemical reduction *** copper particles were embedded into the polyvinylchloride(PVC)matrix as support and used as an electrode(PVC/Cu)for the oxidation of methanol fuel for improving the current *** PVC/Cu electrodes were characterized by thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA)for thermal stability of the electrode,X-ray diffraction(XRD)for identification of copper nanoparticles in the electrode,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)to identify the interaction between PVC and Cu and scan electron microscopy(SEm)with EDAX for the morphology of the *** electrocatalytic activity of the electrode was characterized by the cyclic voltammetry,linear sweep voltammetry,and chronoamperometry *** increase in the electrode activity was observed with the increase of copper quantity from 0.18 g(PVC/Cu-0.18 g)to 0.24 g(PVC/Cu-0.24 g)and the maximum was found at 0.24 g of copper in the ***,it was observed that the electrode achieved the maximum catalytic current in 0.5 mol/L CH3OH+1 mol/L Na OH *** identified that water molecules,C—H group,copper nanoparticle and its oxide were available in the *** images with EDAX showed that copper particles were properly embedded in the polyvinylchloride matrix.
