Accord ing to the China Report of Development of the Silver Industry,during 2014 to 2050,the consumption capacity of China’s aging population will increase from RMB 4 trillion to about RMB 106 trillion.The proportion of GDP will increase from 8%to 33%.This is why the silver economy is expected to become the new blue ocean.Multiple policies from local government to increase support As the size of China’s aging population increases,a series of elderly-supporting policies have been made since early 2021.These policies include The Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Strengthening the Work for the Elderly in the New Era,and the National Plan for the Development of the Cause of Aging and the Elderly Care Service System during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period(hereinafter referred to as the plan).These policies show that the silver industry has great space to develop.

On June 28,the first Hainan International Off-shore Duty Free Shopping Festival opened in Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex.During the festival that is set to last for six months,Hainan will hold more than 50 marketing campaigns throughout the Province.While the global tourism consumption industry has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic as a whole,the off-shore duty-free consumption market in Hainan has surged thanks to the effective pandemic prevention and control measures in China and a series of new favorable duty-free policies,which has attracted an obvious return of overseas consumption.

Recently,there were several viral videos posed by netizens showing that“Chicecream ice cream will not melt,even when exposed to temperatures of 31 degrees Celsius for 1 hour”,which caused a heated discussion.Chicecream’s official Weibo was forced to respond,stating that there is no ice cream that doesn’t melt.The company stated that the product just contains a high solid content and little water.They claimed that after it completely melts,it will naturally be sticky,but it won’t completely spread out and become a pool of liquid.However,the solids can’t become liquid after melting.

Recently,iiMedia Research issued a report titled 2021 Research Report on China’s Sleep Economy Industry,focusing on the bright future of the sleep economy in China,which has a market size exceeding RMB 400 billion in 2021.Nowadays,due to various factors such as pressure from life and work,overuse of cell phones and excessive information interference,more and more young people are suffering f rom insomnia.This situation was exacerbated in the first half of 2021 as a result of COVID-19,with people staying indoors for longer than usual.As a survey indicated,though many people have more time asleep,the time they went to bed was delayed by 2 to 3 hours,and the search volume for sleep problems increased by 43%.Data from the Chinese Sleep Research Society showed that more than 300 million people had sleep disorders in 2021,and as high as 38.2%of adults have or had sleep difficulties at some point in time.
