3D robust anisotropic diffusion filtering algorithm for sparse view neutron computed tomography 3D image reconstruction

The most critical part of a neutron computed tomography(NCT) system is the image processing algorithm,which directly affects the quality and speed of the reconstructed *** types of noise in the system can degrade the quality of the reconstructed ***,to improve the quality of the reconstructed images of NCT systems,efficient image processing algorithms must be *** anisotropic diffusion filtering(ADF) algorithm can not only effectively suppress the noise in the projection data,but also preserve the image edge structure information by reducing the diffusion at the image ***,we propose the application of the ADF algorithm for NCT image *** compare the performance of different algorithms in NCT systems,we reconstructed images using the ordered subset simultaneous algebraic reconstruction technique(OS-SART) algorithm with different regular terms as image processing *** the iterative reconstruction,we selected two image processing algorithms,the Total Variation and split Bregman solved total variation algorithms,for comparison with the performance of the ADF ***,the filtered back-projection algorithm was used for comparison with an iterative *** reconstructing the projection data of the numerical and clock models,we compared and analyzed the effects of each algorithm applied in the NCT *** on the reconstruction results,OS-SART-ADF outperformed the other algorithms in terms of denoising,preserving the edge structure,and suppressing *** example,when the 3D Shepp–Logan was reconstructed at 25 views,the root mean square error of OS-SART-ADF was the smallest among the four iterative algorithms,at only *** universal quality index,mean structural similarity,and correlation coefficient of the reconstructed image were the largest among all algorithms,with values of 0.9877,0.9878,and 0.9887,respectively.

Intravitreal injection of conbercept for diabetic macular edema complicated with diabetic nephropathy

AIM:To observe the therapeutic effect of conbercept on diabetic macular edema(DME)complicated with diabetic nephropathy(DN).METHODS:In this retrospective study,54 patients(54 eyes)that diagnosed as DME from January 2017 to October 2021 were *** patients were divided into two groups:DME patients with DN(25 eyes),and DME patients without DN(29 eyes).General conditions were collected before treatment,laboratory tests include fasting blood glucose,HbA1c,microalbumin/creatinine,serum *** coherence tomography(OCT)was used to check the ellipsoidal zone(EZ)and external limiting membrane(ELM)*** macular thickness(CMT),best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),and retinal hyperreflective foci(HF)as well as numbers of injections were ***:There were significant differences between fasting blood glucose,HbA1c,serum creatinine,urinary microalbumin/creatinine,and estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)between the two groups(all P<0.05).EZ and ELM continuity in the DME+DN group was worse than that in the DME group(P<0.05).BCVA(logMAR)in the DME group was significantly better than that in the DME+DN group at the same time points during treatment(all P<0.05).CMT and HF values were significantly higher in the DME+DN group than that in the DME group at the all time points(all P<0.05)and significantly decreased in both groups with time during *** 6mo after treatment,the mean number of injections in the DME+DN and DME group was 4.84±0.94 and 3.79±0.86,***:Conbercept has a significant effect in short-term treatment of DME patients with or without DN,and can significantly ameliorate BCVA,CMT and the number of HF,treatment efficacy of DME patients without DN is better than that of DME patients with DN.

Research progress on micro-force measurement of a hydrate particle system

It remains a great challenge to understand the hydrates involved in phenomena in practical oil and gas systems. The adhesion forces between hydrate particles, between hydrate particles and pipe walls, and between hydrate particles and reservoir particles are essential factors that control the behaviors of clathrate hydrates in different applications. In this review, we summarize the typical micro-force measurement apparatus and methods utilized to study hydrate particle systems. In addition, the adhesion test results, the related understandings, and the applied numerical calculation models are systematically discussed.

Functional polymorphism in exon 5 and variant haplotype of the interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 1 gene are associated with susceptibility to and severity of sepsis in the Chinese population

Background The interleukin-1 （IL-1） receptor-associated kinase 1 （IRAK1） is believed to play an important role in the pathogenesis of sepsis. Recent studies have suggested that the I RAK1 functional genetic variant could affect the severity of sepsis in Caucasians. In this report, we have investigated whether polymorphisms at the IRAK1 gene are associated with the susceptibility to and severity of sepsis among the Chinese population. Methods Haplotype-tagging single nucleotide polymorphisms （htSNPs） were selected from the HapMap database. *** genotyped in 255 patients with sepsis and 260 control subjects by PCR/restriction fragment length polymorphism （RFLP） analysis. The association between the selected htSNPs and the susceptibility to and severity of sepsis were estimated by Logistic regression with adjustments for age, sex, smoking, drinking, chronic disease status, Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation （APACHE） II score and primary diseases. Results rs1059702 was selected to represent the six linked htSNPs for IRAKI. Genotype frequencies of the htSNPs were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium for females, as were allele frequencies for both sex groups. Associations were observed in females between the htSNPs C/C genotype and increased susceptibility to sepsis （odds ratio （OR）, 5.46; 95% confidence interval （C/）, 1.12-26.67; P=0.018）, and such associations were also observed between the IRAK1 variant haplotype （CC/C-allele） and increased susceptibility to sepsis （OR, 1.68; 95% C/, 1.05-2.70; P=0.031） when compared with the T/T ＋ T/C genotype and the wild-type haplotype （TC ＋ TT/T-allele）. In the multiple organ dysfunction syndrome （MODS） subgroup, the variant haplotype was also associated with increased severity of sepsis （OR, 2.37; 95% Cl, 1.13-4.94; P=-0.02） when compared with the wild haplotype.
