Plexiform angiomyxoid myofibroblastic tumor treated by endoscopic submucosal dissection:A case report and review of the literature

BACKGROUND Plexiform angiomyxoid myofibroblastic tumor(PAMT)is a rare mesenchymal tumor characterized by multiple nodular plexiform growth patterns and an immunophenotype with *** pathological characteristics,immunohistochemistry,diagnostic criteria,differential diagnosis,and gene-level changes of PAMT have been reported in many *** present,the main treatment for PAMT in the reported cases is surgery;only eight cases were treated via endoscopy(excluding 1 thoracoscopic resection),and the lesions were all smaller than 5 *** are no reports on the prognosis and follow-up of young patients with lesion sizes reaching 5 cm who undergo endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD).Herein,we present the first case of a young patient with a lesion size reaching 5 cm who was diagnosed with PAMT via endoscopic submucosal *** SUMMARY A 15-year-old young man with upper abdominal pain for 2 years presented to the Gastroenterology Department of our *** gastroscopy showed a semicircular bulge approximately 5 cm in size in the lesser curvature near the cardia of the fundus;the surface was eroded,and shallow ulcers had *** pathological manifestations of the biopsy were spindle cell proliferative lesions with interstitial mucinous changes,and the surface mucosa showed chronic inflammatory changes with active lesions;immunohistochemistry showed smooth muscle actin(SMA)(+),CD117(-),CD34(-),DOG-1(-),S-100(-),and Ki67(LI:<1%).We performed ESD on the *** lesion that we removed was 5 cm×4 cm×2 cm in ***,the resected tissue displayed typical manifestations,such as fat spindle-shaped fibroblasts and myofibroblast-like cells showing irregular nodular *** staining of the tumor cells revealed the following:CD34(partially+),SMA(weakly+),CD117(-),DOG-1(-),S-100(-),SDHB(+),PCK(-),and Ki67(labelling index:2%).There was no recurrence or metastasis during the 3-mo follow-up after the operation,and

BACKGROUND Budd-Chiari syndrome(BCS)is a rare heterogeneous liver disease characterized by obstruction of the hepatic venous outflow *** incidence of BCS is so low that it is difficult to detect in general practice and difficult to include within the scope of routine *** clinical manifestations of BCS are not specific;hence,BCS tends to be *** SUMMARY We report the case of a 33-year-old Chinese woman who presented with progressive distension in the upper *** was initially misdiagnosed with liver cirrhosis(LC)due to abnormalities on an upper abdominal computed tomography *** she was taking standard anti-cirrhosis therapy,her symptoms did not *** resonance imaging showed caudate lobe hypertrophy;and dilated lumbar and hemiazygos *** revealed membranous obstruction of the inferior vena cava owing to congenital vascular malformation.A definitive diagnosis of BCS was *** angioplasty was performed to recanalize the obstructed inferior vena cava and the patient’s symptoms were completely *** lacks specific clinical features and can eventually lead to LC. Clinicians andradiologists must carefully differentiate BCS from LC. Correct diagnosis andtimely treatment are vital to the patient's health.

Correlation of dynamic contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and the Ki-67 labelling index in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

BACKGROUND Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)is a highly malignant and aggressive tumor,and high Ki-67 expression indicates poor histological differentiation and ***,one of the challenges in diagnosing preoperatively patients with PDAC is predicting the degree of *** contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(DCE-US)plays a crucial role in abdominal tumor diagnosis,and can adequately show the microvascular composition within the ***,the relationship between DCE-US and the Ki-67 labelling index remains unclear at the present *** To predict the correlation between Ki-67 expression and the parameters of *** Patients with PDAC who underwent DCE-US were retrospectively *** who had received any treatment(radiotherapy or chemotherapy)prior to DCE-US;had incomplete clinical,imaging,or pathologic information;and had poor-quality image analysis were *** between Ki-67 expression and the parameters of DCE-US in patients with PDAC were assessed using Spearman’s rank correlation *** diagnostic performances of these parameters in high Ki-67 expression group were evaluated according to receiver operating characteristic *** Based on the Ki-67 labelling index,30 patients were divided into two groups,i.e.,the high expression group and the low expression *** the relative quantitative parameters between the two groups,relative half-decrease time(rHDT),relative peak enhancement,relative wash-in perfusion index and relative wash-in rate were significantly different between two groups(P=0.018,P=0.025,P=0.028,P=0.035,respectively).The DCE-US parameter rHDT was moderately correlated with Ki-67 expression,and rHDT≥1.07 was more helpful in accurately diagnosing high Ki-67 expression,exhibiting a sensitivity and specificity of 53.8%and 94.1%,*** One parameter of DCE-US,rHDT,correlates with high Ki-67 *** demonstrates that parameters obtained noninvasively

Free-space optical communications(ultraviolet and infrared communications) have emerged as a viable alteniative to RF communication for many applications. Ultraviolet communication system even can provide non-line- of-sight links by exploiting atmospheric scattering of Atmospheric turbulence can causes fluctuations in the intensity of the received signal,impairing link performance. Many theoretical models about atmospheric turbulence have been proposed to describe tuibulence-induced intensity fluctuations. Though some models are single to implement,they are often used to model some turimlence conditions. Others have excellent fit with measurement data for a wide range of turbulence conditions,but they are complex and difficull to implement. In this paper,we present an adaptive method to select the different simple tuibulence model based on the scintillation index in different tuibulence conditions and detect the signals in the Poisson and Gauss regime,when the light fluctuations exit in ultraviolet and infrared ccmimunication.

Effect of H_2 dilution on the structure and properties of nc-CrC/a-C:H coatings deposited by a hybrid beams system

Nanocomposite Cr C/hydrogenated amorphous carbon(nc-CrC/a-C:H) coatings were deposited by a hybrid beams system comprised of a hollow cathode ion source and a cathodic arc ion-plating unit with varying H_2 flow rates. The influences of H_2 flow rates on the morphologies, microstructures, and properties of the coatings were systematically studied. The morphologies and microstructures of the coatings were characterized by SEM, AFM, XPS, Raman spectroscopy, GIXRD, and HRTEM. The mechanical and tribological properties were measured by a nano-indenter, scratch tester, and ball-ondisk tribometer. The wear tracks were evaluated using 3D profilometer, optical microscope, and EDS analysis. It has been found that a moderate H_2 flow rate can effectively smooth the surface, enlarge the fraction of a sp^3 bond, and improve the properties. The coating exhibits the highest hardness and elastic modulus at the H_2 flow rate of 40 sccm. A superior combination of adhesion strength,friction coefficient, and wear resistance can be achieved at the H_2 flow rate of 80 sccm.

基于DFT-BS方法,选择不同的泛函方法和基组,研究anti,anti甲酸桥联双核铜配合物的磁学性质.结果表明,在B3P86/TZV水平计算得到顺磁中心Cu(Ⅱ)离子间磁耦合常数为-55.63 cm^-1,与实验值-55.60 cm^-1最接近,可准确描述甲酸桥联双核铜配合物的磁学性质.顺磁中心Cu(Ⅱ)与甲酸根桥联配体间有较强的轨道作用,其磁轨道主要来源于Cu(Ⅱ)离子的3dyz轨道、桥联配体甲酸根离子的离域π键,顺磁中心Cu(Ⅱ)离子为自旋离域机理.在不同桥联模式的甲酸桥联双核铜配合物中,随顺磁中心Cu(1)自旋密度增加,Cu(Ⅱ)离子间的反铁磁性贡献逐渐增加,其磁耦合常数J值逐渐减小.

The press-pack power module with multi-chip layout has drawn increasing attention from industry and academia with its thermal analysis becoming an essential ***,the pressure-dependent thermal variables,such as thermal contact resistance and thermal coupling resistance,are often *** this paper,a pressure-dependent thermal network model is developed to characterize the thermal performance and mechanical status of press-pack power *** including the thermal contact resistance and thermal coupling resistance as the function of pressure,the proposed model ensures a more precise thermo-mechanical evaluation inside the press-pack power *** influence of pressure on self-heating effects and thermal coupling effects of power modules is studied using the knowledge of elastic mechanics.A press-pack prototype with variable pressure loads is ***,thermal experiments under different pressures on chips are conducted and the pressure-variable temperature responses of the thermal network are ***,the feasibility of the proposed thermal network model is validated.A cost-effective prognostic method on the mechanical status of press-pack power module is also achieved.
