Geochemistry and petrogenesis of Late Ladinian OIB-like basalts from Tabai,Yunnan Province,China

Major and trace elements analysis has been carried out on the Late Ladinian Tabai basalts from Yunnan Province with the aim of studying their petrogenesis. Their SiO2 contents range from 43.63 wt.% to 48.23 wt.%. The basalts belong to the weakly alkaline(average total alkalis Na2 O+K2O=3.59 wt.%), high-Ti(3.21 wt.% to 4.32 wt.%) magma series. The basalts are characterized by OIB-like trace elements patterns, which are enriched in large ion lithosphile elements(LILE) including Rb and Ba, and display negative K, Zr and Hf anomalies as shown on the spider diagrams. The Tabai basalts display light rare-earth elements(LREE) enrichment and are depleted in heavy rare-earth elements(HREE) on the REE pattern. Those dates indicate that the parental magma of the Tabai basalts was derived from low-degree(1%–5%) partial melting of garnet peridotite. The magma underwent olivine fractional crystallization and minor crustal contamination during their ascent. The Tabai basalts were related to a relaxation event which had triggered the Emeishan fossil plume head re-melting in the Middle Triassic.

The early stage of Sichuan Basin formation was controlled by the convergence of three major Chinese continental blocks during the Indosinian orogeny that include South China,North China,and Qiangtang *** the Late Triassic Xujiahe Formation is assumed to represent the commencement of continental deposition in the Sichuan Basin,little research is available on the details of this particular *** stratigraphic analysis reveals that the Xujiahe Formation comprises four third-order depositional ***,two tectono-sedimentary evolution stages,deposition and denudation,have been *** wedge-shaped geometry revealed in a cross section of the southern Sichuan Basin normal to the Longmen Shan fold-thrust belt is displayed for the entire Xujiahe *** depositional extent did not cover the Luzhou paleohigh during the LST1 to LST2 （LST,TST and HST mean Iowstand,transgressive and highstand systems tracts,1,2,3 and 4 represent depositional sequence 1,2,3 and 4）,deltaic and fluvial systems fed sediments from the Longmen Shan belt,Luzhou paleohigh,Hannan dome,and Daba Shan paleohigh into a foreland basin with a centrally located *** forebulge of the western Sichuan foreland basin was located southeast of the Luzhou paleohigh after *** to the principle of nonmarine sequence stratigraphy and the lithology of the Xujiahe Formation,four thrusting events in the Longmen Shan fold-thrust belt were distinguished,corresponding to the basal boundaries of sequences 1,2,3,and *** northern Sichuan Basin was tilted after the deposition of sequence 3,inducing intensive erosion of sequences 3 and 4,and formation of wedge-shaped deposition geometry in sequence 4 from south to *** tilting probably resulted from small-scale subduction and exhumation of the western South China block during the South and North China block collision.

As a novel kind of particle method for explicit dynamics,the finite particle method(FPM)does not require the formation or solution of global matrices,and the evaluations of the element equivalent forces and particle displacements are decoupled in nature,thus making this method suitable for *** FPM also requires an acceleration strategy to overcome the heavy computational burden of its explicit framework for time-dependent dynamic *** this end,a gpU-accelerated parallel strategy for the FPM is proposed in this *** taking advantage of the independence of each step of the FPM workflow,a generic parallelized computational framework for multiple types of analysis is *** the Compute Unified Device Architecture(CUDA),the gpU implementations of the main tasks of the FPM,such as evaluating and assembling the element equivalent forces and solving the kinematic equations for particles,are elaborated through careful thread management and memory *** tests show that speedup ratios of 8,25 and 48 are achieved for beams,hexahedral solids and triangular shells,*** examples consisting of explicit dynamic analyses of shells and solids,comparisons with Abaqus using 1 to 8 CPU cores validate the accuracy of the results and demonstrate a maximum speed improvement of a factor of 11.2.

AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets with different strong textures were cryorolled at the liquid-nitrogen temperature to the strain of 4% and 8%. The microstructure and texture of the rolled sheets were investigated via scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, electron backscatter diffraction（EBSD）, and X-ray diffraction（XRD）. The mechanical properties of the sheets were tested through in-plane uniaxial tensile tests at ambient temperature. The tensile stress was exerted in the rolling direction（RD） and transverse directions（TD）. The microstructural and textural evolutions of the alloy during cryorolling were investigated. Due to active twining during rolling, the initial texture significantly influenced the microstructural and textural evolutions of the rolled sheets. A {10 12} extension twin was found as the dominated twin-type in the cryorolled samples. After cryogenic rolling, the ductility of the samples decreased while the strength increased. Twinning also played an important role in explaining the mechanical differences between the rolled samples with different initial textures. The samples were significantly strengthened by the high stored energy accumulated from cryorolling.

Randomized Latent Factor Model for High-dimensional and Sparse Matrices from Industrial Applications

Latent factor(LF) models are highly effective in extracting useful knowledge from High-Dimensional and Sparse(HiDS) matrices which are commonly seen in various industrial applications. An LF model usually adopts iterative optimizers,which may consume many iterations to achieve a local optima,resulting in considerable time cost. Hence, determining how to accelerate the training process for LF models has become a significant issue. To address this, this work proposes a randomized latent factor(RLF) model. It incorporates the principle of randomized learning techniques from neural networks into the LF analysis of HiDS matrices, thereby greatly alleviating computational burden. It also extends a standard learning process for randomized neural networks in context of LF analysis to make the resulting model represent an HiDS matrix *** results on three HiDS matrices from industrial applications demonstrate that compared with state-of-the-art LF models, RLF is able to achieve significantly higher computational efficiency and comparable prediction accuracy for missing data.I provides an important alternative approach to LF analysis of HiDS matrices, which is especially desired for industrial applications demanding highly efficient models.

An intelligent verification platform based on a structured analysis model is *** an abstract model mechanism with specific signal interfaces for user callback,the unified structured analysis data,shared by the electronic system level design,functional verification,and performance evaluation,enables efficient management review,auto-generation of code,and modeling in the transaction *** introduce the class tree,flow parameter diagram,structured flow chart,and event-driven finite state machine as structured analysis *** a sand table to carry maps from different perspectives and levels via an engine,this highly reusable platform provides the mapping topology to search for unintended consequences and the graph theory for comprehensive coverage and smart test *** results show that the engine generates efficient test sequences,with a sharp increase in coverage for the same vector count compared with a random test.

Mercury enrichment in Brassica napus in response to elevated atmospheric mercury concentrations

Mercury enrichment in response to elevated atmospheric mercury concentrations in the organs of rape （Brassica napus） was investigated using an open top chamber fumigation experiment and a soil mercury enriched cultivation experiment. Results indicate that the mercury concentration in leaves and stems showed a significant variation under different concentrations of mercury in atmospheric and soil experiments while the concentration of mercury in roots, seeds and seed coats showed no significant variation under different atmospheric mercury concentrations. Using the function relation established by the experiment, results for atmospheric mercury sources in -rape field biomass showed that atmospheric sources accounted for at least 81.81% of mercury in rape leaves and 32.29% of mercury in the stems. Therefore, mercury in the aboveground biomass predominantly derives from the absorption of atmospheric mercury.

Investigating the bacterial community and amoebae population in rural domestic wastewater reclamation for irrigation

Reclamation of domestic wastewater for agricultural irrigation is viewed as a sustainable option to create an alternative water source and address water scarcity. Free-living amoebae（FLA）, which are amphizoic protozoa, are widely distributed in various environmental sources. The FLA could cause considerable environmental and health risks. However, little information is available on the risk of these protozoa. In this study, we evaluated the feasibility using rural domestic wastewater for agricultural irrigation, and analyzed dynamic changes of the microbial community structure and FLA populations in raw and treated wastewater, as well as the phyllosphere and rhizosphere of lettuce production sites that were irrigated with different water sources. The bacterial community dynamics were analyzed by terminal restriction fragment length polymorphism（T-RFLP）. The bacterial community structures in the influent were similar to that in the effluent, while in some cases relative abundances varied significantly. The populations of Acanthamoeba spp. and Hartmannella vermiformis in the anaerobically treated wastewater were significantly higher than in the raw wastewater. The vegetables could harbor diverse amoebae, and the abundances of Acanthamoeba spp. and H. vermiformis in the rhizosphere were significantly higher than in the phyllosphere. Accordingly, our studies show insight into the distribution and dissemination of amoebae in wastewater treatment and irrigation practices.

目的:观察麻桂温经汤加减联合针刺、抗阻训练治疗寒湿痹阻型膝骨性关节炎的疗效观察及对关节液TNF-α、IL-1β的影响。方法:KOA患者120例随机分组,对照组60例接受非甾体抗炎药、保护关节软骨等对症治疗级抗阻训练运动、针刺治疗,观察组60例加服麻桂温经汤加减;6周后评定疗效;治疗前后进行寒湿痹阻症状评分、膝关节疼痛VAS评分和膝关节功能WOMAC评分,ELISA检测关节液TNF-α、IL-1β含量。结果:观察组治疗6周疗效优于对照组(P<0.05);治疗6周后,两组患者寒湿痹阻症状评分、膝关节疼痛VAS评分和膝关节功能WOMAC评分均明显降低(P<0.05或<0.01),关节液TNF-α、IL-1β含量明显减少;观察组各项评分和关节液TNF-α、IL-1β水平均低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:麻桂温经汤加减联合针刺、抗阻训练运动治疗寒湿痹阻型KOA患者疗效显著,能够降减轻疼痛,改善膝关节功能,抑制炎症反应。
