Littoral-cell angioma （LCA） is a primary splenic vascular tumor that arises from the normal littoral cells lining the sinus channels of the splenic red pulp. We report a case of LCA of the spleen, which has been infrequently communicated in the literature. A 76-year-old man with a 2-wk history of weight loss, abdominal pain and changes in bowel habits was admitted to our hospital. Imaging studies （CT and MR1） showed multiple lesions in the spleen. Splenectomy was performed. Lining cells were positive for CD31/CD68 markers. Our case was associated with a serrated colonic adenoma. LCA is a benign vascular tumor of the spleen that needs to be included in the differential diagnosis of multiple splenic nodules.

Cholangiocarcinomas are the second most frequent primary hepatic malignancy,and make up from 5% to 30% of malignant hepatic *** cholangiocarcinoma(HCC) is the most common type,and accounts for approximately 60% to 67% of all cholangiocarcinoma *** is not a staging system that permits us to compare all series and extract some conclusions to increase the long-survival rate in this dismal *** the extension of resection,according to the sort of HCC,is a closed *** authors defend limited resection(mesohepatectomy with S1,S1 plus S4b-S5,local excision for papillary tumours,etc.) while others insist in the compulsoriness of an extended hepatic resection with portal vein bifurcation removed to reach *** there is not an ideal adjuvant therapy,R1 resection can be justified to prolong the survival *** and mortality rates changed along the last decade,but variability is the rule,with morbidity and mortality rates ranging from 14% to 76% and from 0% to 19%,***:Surgical resection continues to be the main treatment of *** resection margins achieved with major hepatic resections are associated with improved *** management with biliary drainage,portal vein embolization and staging laparoscopy should be considered in selected *** evidence is needed to fully define the role of orthotopic liver *** and lymph node involvement worsen the prognosis and long-term survival,and surgery is the only option that can lengthen *** in adjuvant therapy are essential for improving long-term ***,the lack of effective chemotherapy drugs and radiotherapy approaches leads us to can consider R1 resection as an option,because operated patients have a longer survival rate than those who not undergo surgery.

The Internet of Moving Things(IoMT)takes a step further with respect to traditional static IoT *** this line,the integration of new eco-friendly mobility devices such as scooters or bicycles within the Cooperative-Intelligent Transportation Systems(C-ITS)and smart city ecosystems is crucial to provide novel *** this end,a range of communication technologies is available,such as cellular,vehicular Wifi or Low-Power Wide-Area Network(LPWAN);however,none of them can fully cover energy consumption and Quality of Service(QoS)***,we propose a Decision Support System(DSS),based on supervised Machine Learning(ML)classification,for selecting the most adequate transmission interface to send a certain message in a multi-Radio Access Technology(RAT)set *** ML algorithms have been explored taking into account computing and energy constraints of IoMT enddevices and traffic ***,a real implementation of a decision tree-based DSS for micro-controller units is presented and *** attained results demonstrate the validity of the proposal,saving energy in communication tasks as well as satisfying QoS requirements of certain urgent *** footprint of the real implementation on an Arduino Uno is 444 bytes and it can be executed in around 50µs.

Strongly influenced by the advances in the semiconductor industry,the miniaturization and integration of optical circuits into smaller devices has stimulated considerable research efforts in recent *** other structures,integrated interferometers play a prominent role in the development of photonic devices for on-chip applications ranging from optical communication networks to point-of-care analysis ***,it has been a longstanding challenge to design extremely short interferometer schemes,as long interaction lengths are typically required for a complete modulation *** approaches,including novel materials or sophisticated configurations,have been proposed to overcome some of these size limitations but at the expense of increasing fabrication complexity and ***,we demonstrate for the first time slow light bimodal interferometric behaviour in an integrated single-channel one-dimensional photonic *** proposed structure supports two electromagnetic modes of the same polarization that exhibit a large group velocity ***,an over 20-fold reduction in the higher-order-mode group velocity is experimentally shown on a straightforward all-dielectric bimodal structure,leading to a remarkable optical path reduction compared to other conventional ***,we experimentally demonstrate the significant performance improvement provided by the proposed bimodal photonic crystal interferometer in the creation of an ultra-compact optical modulator and a highly sensitive photonic sensor.

Identifying home ranges—those areas traversed by individuals in their normal foraging,mating,and parenting activities—is an important aspect of cetacean *** these ranges facilitates identification of resource use and *** and humpback whales occur in Antarctica during the austral summer,but information regarding their home ranges is *** opportunistically collected whale sighting data from eight consecutive summer seasons spanning 2010–2017,we approximate the home ranges of humpback and fin whales around Drake Passage(DRA),West of Antarctic Peninsula(WAP),South Shetland Islands(SSI),an area northwest of the Weddell Sea(WED),and around the South Orkney Islands(SOI).Approximate home ranges are identified using Kernel Density Estimation(KDE).Most fin whales occurred north and northwest of the SOI,which suggests that waters near these islands support concentrations of this *** humpback whales were observed around the SSI,but unlike fin whales,their distributions were highly variable in other *** suggests spatial segregation in areas where both species exist such as SOI,SSI,and *** redundancy analysis(pRDA)suggests that the distributions of these species are more affected by spatial variables(latitude,longitude)than by local scale variables such as sea surface temperature and *** study presents a visual approximation of the home ranges of fin and humpback whales,and identifies variation in the effects of space and environmental variables on the distributions of these whales at different spatial scales.

All-inorganic α-CsPbBr_(x)I_(3-x)perovskites featuring nano-sized crystallites show great potential for pure-red light-emitting diode(LED)***,the CsPbBr_(x)I_(3-x)LEDs based on nano-sized α-CsPbBr_(x)I_(3-x)crystallites have been fabricated mainly via the classical colloidal route including a tedious procedure of nanocrystal synthesis,purification,ligand or anion exchange,film casting,*** the usually adopted conventional LED device structure,only high turn-on voltages(>2.7)have been achieved for CsPbBrxl3-x ***,this mix-halide system may suffer from severe spectra-shift under *** this report,CsPbBr_(x)I_(3-x)thin films featuring nano-sized crystallites are prepared by incorporating multiple ammonium ligands in a one-step spin-coating *** multiple ammonium ligands constrain the growth of CsPbBr_(x)I_(3-x)*** CsPbBr_(x)I_(3-x)thin films benefit from quantum *** corresponding CsPbBr_(x)I_(3-x)LEDs,adopting a conventional LED structure of indium-doped tin oxide(ITO)/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)/CsPbBr_(x)I_(3-x)/[6,6]-phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM)/bathocuproine(BCP)/AI,emit pure-red color at Commission Internationale de I'eclairage(CIE)coordinates of(0.709,0.290),(0.711,0.289),etc.,which represent the highest color-purity for reported pure-red perovskite LEDs and meet the Rec.2020 requirement at CIE(0.708,0.292)very *** CsPbBr_(x)I_(3-x)LED shows a low turn-on voltage of 1.6 V,maximum external quantum efficiency of 8.94%,high luminance of 2,859 cd·m^(-2),and good color stability under bias.

Hepatic hemangioma(HH)is the most common benign liver tumor and it is usually found incidentally during radiological *** tumor arises from a vascular malformation;however,the pathophysiology has not been clearly *** usually correlate with the size and location of the *** commonly the presence of a large HH may cause life-threatening *** diagnosis can be established by the identification of HH hallmarks in several imaging *** patients that present with abdominal symptoms other etiologies should be excluded first before attributing HH as the *** asymptomatic patient’s treatment is not required and follow up is usually reserved for HH of more than 5 *** patients can be managed surgically or with other non-surgical modalities such as transcatheter arterial embolization or radiofrequency *** surgery has shown to have fewer complications as compared to hepatectomy or other surgical *** of the tumor is seen in less than 40%.Hormone stimulation may play a role in HH growth;however,there are no contraindications for hormonal therapy in patients with HH due to the lack of concrete *** clinicians encounter this condition,they should discern between observation and surgical or non-surgical management based on the clinical presentation.
