Chitin powder and chitin-aerogel were prepared from.shrim. wastes and used to uptake Y^(3+)from.aqueous solutions and concentrate this rare earth elem.nt from.phosphogypsum.PG).Chitin aerogel displays a specific surface area of 945 m.(2)/g,while chitin powder is 3.6 m.(2)/g,which largely influences its adsorption *** the adsorption in synthetic solutions,the effect of pH on Y^(3+)rem.val is strong for chitin powder *** contrast,no big pH influence was detected for chitin *** interactions and chelation can highlight the proposed m.chanism.of Y^(3+)on chitin adsorbents for the powder and ***,in addition to these interactions,pore filling/pore diffusion is the m.in m.chanism.of Y^(3+)rem.val in the chitin *** aerogel is efficient in concentrating 8 tim.s the Y^(3+)from.PG,a very com.lex *** com.lex chitin aerogel-Y^(3+)can be a secondary source of rare earth elem.nts for other applications.

The m.in protease(m.(pro))of SARS-CoV-2 is an attractive target in anti-COVID-19 therapy for its high conservation and m.jor role in the virus life *** covalent m.(pro)inhibitor nirm.trelvir(in com.ination with ritonavir,a pharm.cokinetic enhancer)and the non-covalent inhibitor ensitrelvir have shown efficacy in clinical trials and have been approved for therapeutic *** antiviral drugs are needed to fight the pandem.c,while non-covalent m.(pro)inhibitors could be prom.sing alternatives due to their high selectivity and favorable *** non-covalent m.(pro)inhibitors with desirable properties have been developed based on available crystal structures of m.(pro).In this article,we describe m.dicinal chem.stry strategies applied for the discovery and optim.zation of non-covalent m.(pro)inhibitors,followed by a general overview and critical analysis of the available *** viewpoints and insights into current strategies for the developm.nt of non-covalent m.(pro)inhibitors are also discussed.

CO₂ Transform.tion at Controlled Tem.erature with Lithium.Hydroxide Solution and m.tallic Lithium

This paper presents a study on CO2 atm.spheric transform.tion which was reacted directly with lithium.hydroxide solution and m.tallic lithium. This solution was obtained through the reaction between m.tallic lithium.and deionized water where hydrogen is produced and by exposing the m.tal at am.ient conditions. In the transform.tion process, atm.spheric CO2 gas reacts directly with LiOH solution, in both cases, the CO2 transform.tion kinetics was different. For this purpose, reactions between CO2 and LiOH solution were carried out under controlled tem.erature and the second process only with m.tallic lithium. which was exposed at room.tem.erature, however, in these two processes lithium.carbonate oxide was form.d and identified. According to the results, the efficiency in CO2 transform.tion is a function of tem.erature value which was variable until com.letely obtaining the by-product, its XRD characterization indicated the form.tion only of Li2CO3 in both procedures. Under laboratory conditions lithium.com.ounds selectively reacted with CO2. In the sam. way, there is an alternative procedure to obtain LiOH and Li2CO3 for different applications in various areas.

Dysregulation of G9a,a histone-lysine N-m.thyltransferase,has been observed in Alzheim.r’s disease and has been correlated with increased levels of chronic inflam.ation and oxidative ***,m.croRNAs are involved in m.ny biological processes and diseases playing a key role in pathogenesis,especially in m.ltifactorial diseases such as Alzheim.r’s ***,our aim.has been to provide partial insights into the interconnection between G9a,m.croRNAs,oxidative stress,and *** better understand the biology of G9a,we com.ared the global m.croRNA expression between senescence-accelerated m.use-prone 8(SAm.8)control m.ce and SAm.8 treated with G9a inhibitor *** found a downregulation of m.R-128 after a G9a inhibition treatm.nt,which interestingly binds to the 3′untranslated region(3′-UTR)of peroxisom.-proliferator activator receptor γ(PPARG)***,Pparg gene expression levels were higher in the SAm.8 group treated with G9a inhibitor than in the SAm.8 control *** also observed m.dulation of oxidative stress responses m.ght be m.inly driven Pparg after G9a *** confirm.these antioxidant effects,we treated prim.ry neuron cell cultures with hydrogen peroxide as an oxidative *** this setting,treatm.nt with G9a inhibitor increases both cell survival and antioxidant ***,up-regulation of PPARγby G9a inhibitor could also increase the expression of genes involved in DNA dam.ge responses and *** addition,we also described that the PPARγ/Am.K axis partially explains the regulation of autophagy m.rkers ***,PPARγ/GADD45αpotentially contributes to enhancing synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis after G9a ***,we propose that pharm.cological inhibition of G9a leads to a neuroprotective effect that could be due,at least in part,by the m.dulation of PPARγ-dependent pathways by m.R-128.

The wheel loads of heavy trucks are the m.jor source of pavem.nt dam.ge,given the repeated loadings im.osed by them.due to transient events and surface *** related studies focus on steady-state context regarding sim.lified vehicle’s param.ters and ideal pavem.nt conditions,this paper aim. to analyze the vertical load applied to the pavem.nt by considering cornering m.neuver as a transient event,on a battery electric vehicle *** this concern,m.asurem.nts were perform.d on a rigid truck,with two steering front axles,in a closed course proving *** relationship has been presented between vehicle’s speed,lateral acceleration and transferred vertical load for a given curve radius of 85.6 m.and 3.7°of transversal *** m.asurem.nts results indicated that for every 10 km.h increasing on the vehicle’s speed,additional 110 kgf will be transferred to the pavem.nt on the outer side of the cornering *** value itself could not be considered high,but it will be also added to the static load,or overload in som. truck applications.
