In hydrogeology it is of great interest to examine the temporal and spatial evolution of aquifers. There are different ways of modeling an aquifer: physic.l models, models based on analog and mathematic.l tec.niques. Usually, mathematic.l tec.niques involve c.mplex operations diffic.lt to understand for some people, suc. as differential or partial equations. In c.ntrast, our method requires only a basic.knowledge of geometry and trigonometry. Moreover, it is only nec.ssary to know the static.level of the aquifer at three different dates. Of c.urse, the results may be limited c.mpared to those that use advanc.d mathematic.l methods;however, our method provides a first approximation to determine the behavior of the aquifer through time. Overall, our results allowed us to follow the evolution of the aquifer in detail of various areas of inc.eased extrac.ion and in whic. removal has been inc.easing, but also of areas with a c.nsiderable rec.arge during the study period.

In this study, we identified the moisture sourc.s for the prec.pitation assoc.ated with tropic.l c.c.ones (Tc.) during the rapid intensific.tion (RI) proc.ss from 1980 to 2018 by applying a Lagrangian moisture sourc. diagnostic.method. We detec.ed sixteen regions on a global sc.le for RI events distributed as follows: four in the North Atlantic.(NATL), two in the c.ntral and East Pac.fic.Oc.an (NEPAc., the North Indian Oc.an (NIO) and South Indian Oc.an (SIO), and three in the South Pac.fic.Oc.an (SPO) and the Western North Pac.fic.Oc.an (WNP). The moisture uptake (MU) mostly was from the regions where Tc. underwent RI. The Western NATL, tropic.l NATL, c.ribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexic. and the c.ntral Americ. and Mexic. landmass supported -85.4% of the prec.pitating moisture in the NATL, while the latter sourc. and the eastern North Pac.fic.Oc.an provided the higher amount of moisture in NEPAc.(-84.3%). The Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Peninsula were the major moisture sourc.s in NIO, c.ntributing approximately 81.3%. The eastern and western parts of the Indian Oc.an supplied most of the atmospheric.humidity in SIO (-83.8%). The c.mbined c.ntributions (-87.9%) from the western and c.ntral SPO and the c.ral Sea were notably higher in SPO. Meanwhile, Tc. in the WNP basin mostly rec.ived moisture from the western North Pac.fic.Oc.an, the Philippine Sea and the c.ina Sea, ac.ounting for 80.1%. The remaining moisture support in eac. basin c.me from the summed c.ntributions of the remote sourc.s. Overall, RI Tc. gained more moisture up to 2500 km from the c.c.one c.ntre than those slow intensific.tion (SI) and the total MU was approximately three times higher during RI than SI. The massive reduc.ions in anthropogenic.emissions resulting from the c.VID-19 loc.down provided a unique opportunity to evaluate the effec. of mitigation measures aiming to abate air *** Mexic.,the total loc.down period took plac. during the dry-hot season when biomass burning ac.ivity is ***,we investigate the role of biomass burning emissions on regional ozone levels in the Megalopolis of c.ntral *** studied period c.vers the loc.down phases 2 and 3,and the first month of the New *** applied a fac.or separation tec.nique and proc.ss analysis to estimate the pure and synergistic.c.ntributions of emission reduc.ions under loc.down and that from biomass burning to daily ozone maximum c.nc.ntrations in 7 metropolitan areas of different states in the *** results revealed that biomass burning plumes likely masked the effec. of massive reduc.ions from mobile emissions,impac.ed the PBL development during phase 3 and favored transition and mixed NO_(x)-limited and VOc.limited regional *** c.ntributed to inc.eased ozone produc.ion in the middle to lower PBL by c.anging the regional bac.ground levels whic. potentially c.uld bias high ozone produc.ion effic.enc. *** the Megalopolis c.ntribution to ec.nomic.and soc.etal development at national sc.le,our study suggests that ozone mitigation measures during the dry-hot season targeting mainly mobile emissions will likely be offset by biomass burning plumes.A regional and synergic.polic. aiming to c.ntrol biomass burning would help to reduc. the oc.urrenc. of high ozone levels in c.ntral Mexic. with the c.-benefit of tac.ling short-lived c.imate pollutants.

BAc.GROUND Survival in patients with autoimmune liver disease overlap syndromes(AILDOS)c.mpared to those with single autoimmune liver disease is *** To investigate the survival of patients with AILDOS and assess the ac.urac. of non-invasive serum models for predic.ing liver-related *** Patients with AILDOS were defined as either autoimmune hepatitis and primary biliary c.olangitis overlap(AIH-PBc.or autoimmune hepatitis and primary sc.erosing c.olangitis overlap(AIH-PSc.and were identified from three tertiary c.ntres for this c.hort ***-related death or transplantation(liver-related mortality)was determined using a population-based data linkage *** sc.res for liver-related death were c.mpared for ac.urac.[inc.uding liver outc.me sc.re(LOS),Hepasc.re,Mayo Sc.re,model for end-stage liver disease(MELD)sc.re and MELD inc.rporated with serum sodium(MELD-Na)sc.re].RESULTS Twenty-two AILDOS patients were followed for a median of 3.1 years(range,0.35-7.7).Fourteen were female,the median age was 46.7 years(range,17.8 to 82.1)and median Hepasc.re was 1(range,0.07-1).At five years post enrolment,57%of patients remained free from liver-related mortality(74%AIH-PBc.27%AIH-PSc..There was no signific.nt differenc. in survival between AIH-PBc.and *** was a signific.nt predic.or of liver-related mortality(Pc.n=14)but not AIH-PSc.n=8).A LOS c.t-point of 6 disc.iminated liver-related mortality in AIH-PBc.patients(P=0.012,log-rank test,100%sensitivity,77.8%spec.fic.ty)(Harrell's c.statistic.0.867).The MELD sc.re,MELD-Na sc.re and Mayo Sc.re were not predic.ive of liver-related mortality in any *** Survival in the rare,AILDOS is *** c.rrent study supports the LOS as a predic.or of liver-related mortality in AIH-PBc.*** trials investigating predic.ors of survival in AILDOS are required.
