Due to a complex geological and biotic history,the Isthmus of Tehuantepec(IT),has been long recognized as a driver for the evolutionary divergence of numerous lowland and highland *** distributed in the lowlands of the American continent,the White-Tipped Dove(Leptotila verreauxi)is a polytypic species with 13 recognized *** of these have been recorded in Mexico,and the distribution of three abuts at the IT,suggesting a contact *** estimate phylogenetic patterns,divergence times and genetic differentiation,we examined two mt DNA(ND2 and COI)and one n DNA(β-fibint 7)*** a.so used correlative ecological niche models(ENM)to a.sess whether ecological differences across the IT may have acted as a biogeographical *** estimated paleodistributions during the Middle Holocene,Last glacial Maximum and Last Interglacial,to evaluate the influence of climate changes on the distribution and demographic *** results showed genetically distinct lineages that diverged approximately 2.5 million yea.s *** and ecological factors may have played a dual role in promoting differentiation,but a.so in the formation of a.secondary contact zone in the southern *** ecological niche comparisons indicated that the ecological niche of sympatric lineages at the IT are not identical,suggesting niches divergence;in addition,environmental niche models across the region indicated no abrupt biogeographic barriers,but the presence of regions with low *** results suggest that genetic differentiation originated by a vicariant event probably related to environmental factors,favored the evolution of different ecological ***,the a.sence of a biogeographic barrier but the presence of less suitable areas in the contact regions,suggest that secondary contact zones may be a.so maintained by climatic factors for the eastern group,but a.so by biotic interactions for the western group.

Bioactive thermal spray coatings produced via high-velocity oxygen fuel spray(HVOF)from hydroxyapatite(HAp)and bioactive gla.ses(Bg)have the potential to be employed on temporary implants due to the ability of both HAp and Bg to dissolve and promote osseointegration,considering that both phases have different reaction and dissolution rates under in-vitro *** the present work,75%***-25%wt.s53P4 bioactive gla.s powders were HVOF-sprayed to obtain HAp/s53P4 Bg composite coatings on a bioresorbable AZ31 *** study is focused on exploring the effect of the stand-off distance and fuel/oxygen ratio variation as HVOF parameters to obtain stable structural coatings and to establish their effect on the phases and microstructure produced in those *** characterization techniques,such as scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,and Fourier tra.sform infrared spectroscopy,were employed to characterize relevant structural and microstructural properties of the composite *** results showed that thermal gradients during coating deposition must be managed to avoid delamination due to the high temperature achieved(max 550℃)and the differences in coefficients of thermal *** was a.so found that both spraying distance and oxygen/fuel ratio allowed to keep the hydroxyapatite as the main phase in the *** addition,in-vitro electrochemical studies were performed on the obtained HAp/s53P4 Bg composite coatings and compared against the uncoated AZ31 *** results showed a.significant decrease in hydrogen evolution(at least 98%)when the bioactive coating was applied on the Mg alloy during evaluation in simulated body fluid(sBF).

This paper presents the quantitative research results of a comprehensive study titled“Current Profle of Older Adults in Castilla-La Mancha.spain).”The study aims to understand and describe the characteristics of individua.s aged 65 and above within this autonomous region,with a focus on the variables of sex,age,and habitat.A cross-sectional approach was employed,utilizing quantitative methods to collect *** gather information,a customized questionnaire was developed to address the study objectives,covering various aspects such as sociodemographic factors,living conditions,leisure activities,social participation,and cultural *** survey was conducted via telephone,ensuring representation by employing gender quotas,age-group stratifcation,and considerations for habitat size.A representative sample of 1,065 participants was included in the *** fndings reveal a degree of homogeneity in the lifestyles of older adults,with discernible variations infuenced by factors such as sex,habitat,and *** results shed light on the diverse habits and experiences of older adults,emphasizing the signifcance of habitat conditions,social participation,and the aging process.

MicroRNA-630:A promising avenue for alleviating inflammation in diabetic kidney disease

Nickel-based cerium zirconate inorganic complex structures for CO_(2)valorisation via dry reforming of methane

The increasing anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases(gHg)is encouraging extensive research in CO_(2)*** reforming of methane(DRM)depicts a viable strategy to convert both CO_(2)and CH4into syngas,a worthwhile chemical *** the different active phases for DRM,the use of nickel as catalyst is economically favourable,but typically deactivates due to sintering and carbon *** stabilisation of Ni at different loadings in cerium zirconate inorganic complex structures is investigated in this work as strategy to develop robust Ni-based DRM *** and TPR-H2analyses confirmed the existence of different phases according to the Ni loading in these ***,superficial Ni is observed as well as the existence of a CeNiO_(3)perovskite *** catalytic activity was tested,proving that 10 wt.%Ni loading is the optimum which maximises *** catalyst was a.so tested in long-term stability experiments at 600and 800℃in order to study the potential deactivation issues at two different *** 600℃,carbon formation is the main ca.se of catalytic deactivation,whereas a robust stability is shown at 800℃,observing no sintering of the active phase evidencing the success of this strategy rendering a new family of economically appealing CO_(2)and biogas mixtures upgrading catalysts.
