Sequential decay analysis of^(235)U(n^(th),f)reaction using fragmentation approach

Late neoproterozoic to early Cambrian high-grade metamorphism from Mik.r Hills(Assam-Meghalaya gneissic Complex,northeast India):Implications for eastern Gondwana assembly

Mik.r Hills region,which represents the eastern segment of the Assam-Meghalaya Gneissic Complex(AMGC)in northeast India,constitutes part of the Eastern *** Mik.r Hills preserves multiple metamorphic and magmatic events ranging from Early Mesoproterozoic to Early *** of these events,documenting the late neoproterozoic to early Cambrian tectonothermal events is helpful in correlating the continental block. of Eastern *** present an integrated study involving field relations,petrology,P-T history and zircon-monazite geochronology of hitherto poorly studied pelitic and quartzo-feldspathic gneisses from the Mik.r Hills *** gneisses have experienced at least three deformation events(D_(1),D_(2) and D_(3))with dominant foliation indicated by EnE-WSW strik.ng and shallow-moderately dipping(neissic *** peak.metamorphism in pelitic and quartzo-feldspathic gneisses is characterized by garnet(core)-k.feldspar-sillimanite-plagioclase-bio tite-rutile-quartz-ilmenite-melt and garnet-plagioclase-k.feldspar-biotite-quartz-ilmenite-melt assemblages,*** application of thermobarometric methods constrains the peak.P-T conditions of 7.5-8.4 k.ar at 674-778℃and 6.7-7.4 k.ar at 601-618℃for pelitic and quartzofeldspathic gneisses,*** results are consistent with the values estimated using phase equilibria modelling and melt reintegration *** results of pseudosection modelling suggests a clock.ise P-T path for pelitic gneisses involving migmatisation during peak.metamorphism followed by near isothermal decompression from 8.0 to 8.6 k.ar at 768-780℃to 4.0-5.0 k.ar at 720-765℃.In contrast,quartzo-feldspathic gneisses preserved slightly lower peak.P-T conditions at 3.8-4.6 k.ar and 590-650℃.The U-Pb zircon dating of migmatised pelitic and quartzo-feldspathic gneisses yielded concordant ages of 1647±11 Ma and 1590±7 Ma,*** dates represent the inherited igneous protolith components,possibly

A Comparative Analysis on Surgical Outcomes and Complications of Endoscopic and Open Vein Harvesting Techniques

Objective: The great saphenous vein (GSV) is commonly used as a conduit for grafting during CABG surgery, and open GSV harvesting (OVH), commonly used with long incision to expose the vein. However, endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) is an alternative approach, utilizing specialized instruments and small incisions to harvest the vein. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on a cohort of patients who underwent Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) requiring great saphenous vein (GSV) harvesting which was done by EVH or OVH procedures. Demographic variables, including age and gender, were assessed for both groups. Intraoperative variables such as the number of grafts, cardiopulmonary bypass time, X clamp time, and type of procedure were analyzed. Postoperative variables, including infection and bleeding rates, were also evaluated. Results: The study included 30 patients each undergoing Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) with need of great saphenous vein harvesting which was done by EVH and OVH. Demographic variables were well-matched between the two groups in terms of age, while a significant difference in gender distribution was observed. Obesity and smok.ng were more prevalent in the OVH group, and EVH was associated with a higher mean number of grafts compared to OVH. Conversion to an open technique occurred in a portion of the EVH cases, and infection rates did not significantly differ between the EVH and OVH groups. However, the incidence of postoperative bleeding was significantly higher in the EVH group. Conclusion: This study provides valuable insights into the demographic, intraoperative, and postoperative variables associated with EVH and OVH techniques. EVH demonstrated advantages in terms of reduced infection rates compared to OVH. However, the higher incidence of postoperative bleeding associated with EVH raises concerns about potential risk..

Bactrocera tryoni and Bactrocera neohumeralis are morphologically similar sibling pest fruit fly species that possess different biological attributes,geographic distributions,and host *** need to differentiate between the two species is critical for accurate pest status assessment,management,biosecurity,and maintenance of reference *** morphologically similar,adults may be separated based on subtle characters;however,some characters exhibit intraspecific variability,creating overlap between the two ***,there is currently no single molecular mark.r or rapid diagnostic assay that can reliably distinguish between *** and ***;therefore,ambiguous samples remain *** we report the first molecular mark.r that can consistently distinguish between *** and *** diagnostic region consists of two adjacent single nucleotide polymorphisms(SnPs)within the pangolin(pan)gene *** confirmed the genotypes of each species are consistent across their distributional range,then developed a tetra-primer amplification refractory mutation system(ARMS)PCR assay for rapid diagnosis of the *** assay utilizes four primers in multiplex,with two outer universal primers,and two internal primers:one designed to target two adjacent SnPs(AA)present in *** and the other targeting adjacent SnPs present in ***(GG).The assay accurately discriminates between the two species,but their SnP genotypes are shared with other nontarget tephritid fruit fly ***,this assay is most suited to adult diagnostics where species confirmation is necessary in determining ambiguous surveillance trap catches;maintaining pure colony lines;and in Sterile Insect Technique management responses.
