Geopolitics of energy transition has increasingly become the frontier and hot research area of world energy geography and global political *** historical periods are characterised by obvious differences in energy connotations,attributes,and geopolitical *** the new energy era,energy geopolitics becomes more diversified,complex,and *** this paper,we compare the geopolitical characteristics of energy in the fossil fuel and renewable energy periods,and provide an overview of current study trends in new energy *** research shows that the global energy transition will intensify the reconstruction of geopolitical patterns,change the relationship between geopolitical security and conflict dominated by traditional energy security,alter the role of different countries in global energy geopolitical games,reshape national energy relationships formed in the traditional oil and gas *** addition,geopolitics will be affected by new energy technologies,availability of key rare materials,and energy cybersecurity *** considerable attention to this research topic,the likely geopolitical impact of energy transition remains uncertain,and there is still room for the development and improvement of the theoretical framework,technical methods,and research *** forward to the future,the research into geopolitics of energy transition urgently needs to strengthen its theoretical basis and rely on the scientific and quantitative *** practical conclusions of the research into geopolitics of energy transition should strengthen major national energy security decisions,explore the geographical effect of energy transition,and determine the impact of energy transition on energy *** into geopolitics of energy transition should be carried out taking into account international academic frontiers such as climate change,“carbon peak”and“carbon neutral”goals,and global energy governance,to enrich t

Genetic parameters for cold tolerance and body weight of Chinese fleshy prawn,Fenneropenaeus chinensis

The inability of Fenneropenaeus chinensis to tolerate low temperatures is of major economic concern in temperate climates,as it reduces their growing season and leads to over-winter *** this study,the heritability of body weight under low grow-out temperature and cold tolerance in *** were first investigated and estimated using 88 ful-sib families,which might provide crucial information in Chinese fleshy prawn breeding *** heritability for body weight under suitable and low temperature of *** were both moderate（0.158 0±0.307 5 and 0.132 0±0.026 9 respectively）;the large coefficient of variation（approximately 21%） and moderate estimate of heritability for body weight indicated substantial potential for selective *** heritability estimate for cold tolerance was low（0.019 2±0.023 5）,and showed no significant differences from zero（P〉0.05）.A weak genetic correlation between cold tolerance and body weight was also estimated in the present study,also showing no significant differences from zero（P〉0.05）.Thus,more research needs to be conducted on the more accurate heritability estimate of cold tolerance and genetic correlations between traits in *** to further improve the achievement of breeding goals.

Strontium Isotope Compositions of Hydrothermal Barite from the Yonaguni Ⅳ: Insight into Fluid/Sediment Interaction and Barite Crystallization Condition

Hydrothermal barite is a typical low-temperature mineral formed during the mixing of hydrothermal fluid and *** of its extremely low solubility,barite behaves as a close system after crystallization and preserves the geochemical fingerprint of hydrothermal *** this study,the elemental contents and Sr isotope compositions of hydrothermal barites from the Yonaguni IV were determined using electron microprobe and LA-MC-ICP-MS *** these bases,the fluid/sediment interaction during the hydrothermal circulation and physicochemical condition of barite crystallization were *** show that the 87 Sr/86 Sr values of hydrothermal barites from the Yonaguni IV are apparently higher than those of the seawater and associated volcanic rocks,indicating the sufficient interaction between the hydrothermal fluid and overlying *** Sr abundance shows large variations,reflecting the changes in barite growth rate during the fluid *** mineralization condition in the Yonaguni IV was *** the crystallization of barite,hydrothermal fluid and seawater mixed in varying degrees,with the pro-portions of hydrothermal fluid varied from 36%to 72%.The calculated crystallization temperatures range from 109 to 220℃.Sediment plays a critical role during the mineralization process in the Yonaguni IV and incorporation of sediment component into hydrothermal system was prior to barite crystallization and sulfide mineralization.

Performance analysis of MIMO systems with arbitrary number transmit antenna selection and OSTBC in the presence of imperfect CSI

In this paper, the performance analysis of MIMO systems with arbitrary number transmit antenna selection(TAS) and orthogonal space-time block coding(STBC) in Rayleigh fading channels for imperfect channel state information(CSI) is presented. For the performance analysis, the moment generating function of the system effective SNR as well as its upper and lower bounds are derived. Then, accurate and approximate expressions of bit error rate(BER) of MIMO-TAS-STBC with MPSK and MQAM are further derived. Using the approximate BER formula and imperfect CSI, an adaptive antenna selection scheme is developed for minimizing the BER. The diversity gain and coding gain are analyzed at high SNR. The results indicate that the MIMOTAS-STBC for imperfect CSI can only achieve partial diversity order K N and the coding gain is affected by K,N, code rate, modulation pattern, and channel correlation coefficients, when K transmit antennas are selected and N receive antennas are used. Simulation results show that the theoretical analysis matches the simulation result well, and the approximate expressions are close to the accurate ones but have a lower complexity.

Accurate and Robust Eye Center Localization via Fully Convolutional Networks

Eye center localization is one of the most crucial and basic requirements for some human-computer interaction applications such as eye gaze estimation and eye tracking. There is a large body of works on this topic in recent years, but the accuracy still needs to be improved due to challenges in appearance such as the high variability of shapes, lighting conditions, viewing angles and possible occlusions. To address these problems and limitations, we propose a novel approach in this paper for the eye center localization with a fully convolutional network(FCN),which is an end-to-end and pixels-to-pixels network and can locate the eye center accurately. The key idea is to apply the FCN from the object semantic segmentation task to the eye center localization task since the problem of eye center localization can be regarded as a special semantic segmentation problem. We adapt contemporary FCN into a shallow structure with a large kernel convolutional block and transfer their performance from semantic segmentation to the eye center localization task by *** experiments show that the proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods in both accuracy and reliability of eye center localization. The proposed method has achieved a large performance improvement on the most challenging database and it thus provides a promising solution to some challenging applications.

An Efficient Way to Parse Logs Automatically for Multiline Events

In order to obtain information or discover knowledge from system logs,the first step is to performlog parsing,whereby unstructured raw logs can be transformed into a sequence of structured *** comprehensive studies on log parsing have been conducted in recent years,most assume that one event object corresponds to a single-line ***,in a growing number of scenarios,one event object spans multiple lines in the log,for which parsing methods toward single-line events are not *** order to address this problem,this paper proposes an automated log parsing method for multiline events(LPME).LPME finds multiline event objects via iterative scanning,driven by a set of heuristic rules derived from *** advantage of LPME is that it proposes a cohesion-based evaluation method for multiline events and a bottom-up search approach that eliminates the process of enumerating all *** analyze the algorithmic complexity of LPME and validate it on four datasets from different *** show that the actual time complexity of LPME parsing for multiline events is close to the constant time,which enables it to handle large-scale sample *** the experimental datasets,the performance of LPME achieves 1.0 for recall,and the precision is generally higher than 0.9,which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed LPME.

Anomaly Detection for Cloud Systems with Dynamic Spatiotemporal Learning

As cloud system architectures evolve continuously,the interac-tions among distributed components in various roles become increasingly *** complexity makes it difficult to detect anomalies in cloud *** system status can no longer be determined through individual key performance indicators(KPIs)but through joint judgments based on syn-ergistic relationships among distributed ***,anomalies in modern cloud systems are usually not sudden crashes but rather grad-ual,chronic,localized failures or quality degradations in a weakly available ***,accurately modeling cloud systems and mining the hidden system state is *** address this challenge,we propose an anomaly detection method with dynamic spatiotemporal learning(AD-DSTL).AD-DSTL leverages the spatiotemporal dynamics of the system to train an end-to-end deep learning model driven by data from system monitoring to detect underlying anomalous states in complex cloud *** previous work that focuses on the KPIs of separate components,AD-DSTL builds a model for the entire system and characterizes its spatiotemporal dynamics based on graph convolutional networks(GCN)and long short-term memory(LSTM).We validated AD-DSTL using four datasets from different backgrounds,and it demonstrated superior robustness compared to other baseline ***,when raising the target exception level,both the recall and precision of AD-DSTL reached approximately *** experimental results demon-strate that AD-DSTL can meet the requirements of anomaly detection for complex cloud systems.

A balance between catalysis and nanoconfinement towards enhanced hydrogen storage performance of NaAlH_(4)

Owing to its favorable thermodynamics and high density,NaAlH_(4) has been widely regarded as a potential hydrogen storage material,but its practical application is hindered by the sluggish kinetics,high operating temperature and poor cycling ***,taking advantage of Co-doped nanoporous carbon scaffolds as structural host,we develop a new strategy to balance the synergistic effect between the catalytic role of Co nanoparticles and the nanoconfinement role of porous carbon scaffolds via the controllable etching of Co nanoparticles towards enhanced hydrogen storage performance of NaAlH_(4).The etching of Co nanoparticles creates extra void spaces nearby catalytically active Co nanoparticles,which not only exerts the catalytic effect of Co nanoparticles,but also improves the nanoconfinement role in maintaining the cycling stability towards increased loading ratio and hence high systematic *** by this balanced synergistic effect,the peak temperature for the dehydrogenation of NaAlH_(4) could be reduced to 164°C,97°C lower than the bulk counterpart,even under an ultrahigh loading ratio of 67%,and more importantly,the reversible systematic hydrogen storage capacity could still reach 3.3 wt.%after 5 *** work opens up a new avenue to improve the hydrogen storage performance of various complex hydrides.

AlertInsight:Mining Multiple Correlation For Alert Reduction

Modern cloud services are monitored by numerous multidomain and multivendor monitoring tools,which generate massive numbers of alerts and events that are not *** alerts usually carry isolated messages that are missing service *** become inundated with tickets caused by such alert events when they are routed directly to incident management *** alerts increase the risk of crucial warnings going undetected and leading to service *** of the feasible ways to cope with the above problems involves revealing the correlations behind a large number of alerts and then aggregating the related alerts according to their *** on these guidelines,AlertInsight,a framework for alert event reduction,is proposed in this *** AlertInsight,the correlations among event sources are found by mining a sequence of historical ***,event correlation knowledge is employed to build an online detector targeting the correlated events that are hidden in the event ***,the correlated events are aggregated into a single high-level event for alert *** of theweaknesses of the commonly used pairwise correlation analysis methods in complex environments,an innovative approach for multiple correlation mining,which overcomes computational complexity challenges by scanning panoramic views of historical episodes from the perspective of holism,is proposed in this *** addition,a neural network-based correlated event detector that can learn the event correlation knowledge generated from correlation mining and then detect the correlated events in a sequence online is *** are conducted to test the effectiveness of *** experimental results(precision=0.92,recall=0.93,and F1-score=0.93)demonstrate the performance of AlertInsight for the recognition of multiple correlated alerts and its competence for alert reduction.
