Impact of continuous care on cardiac function in patients with lung cancer complicated by coronary heart disease

BACKGROUND Despite sharing similar pathogenic factors,cancer and coronary heart disease(CHD)occur in comparable populations at similar ages and possess similar susceptibility ***,it is increasingly commonplace for patients to experience the simultaneous occurrence of cancer and CHD,a trend that is steadily *** To determine the impacts of continuing care on lung cancer patients with CHD following percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).METHODS There were 94 lung cancer patients with CHD following PCI who were randomly assigned to the intervention group(n=38)and the control group(n=41).In the intervention group,continuing care was provided,while in the control group,routine care was *** evaluation of cardiac and pulmonary function,medication compliance,a 6-min walk test,and patient quality of life was *** Differences between the two groups were significant in left ventricular ejection fraction,6-min walk test,oxygen uptake,quality of life and medication compliance(PluSION After undergoing PCI,lung patients with CHD could benefit from continued care in terms of cardiac and pulmonary function,medications compliance,and quality of life.

Enones are widely explored in synthetic chemistry as fundamental building blocks for a wide range of reactions and exhibit intriguing biological activities that are pivotal for drug *** development of synthetic strategies for highly efficient preparation of enones thereby receives intense attention,in particular through the transition metal-catalyzed coupling ***,we describe a carbene-catalyzed cross dehydrogenative coupling(CDC)reaction that enables effective assembly of simple aldehydes and alkenes to afford a diverse set of enone ***,the in situ generated aryl radical is pivotal to“activate”the alkene by forming an allyl radical through intermolecular hydrogen atom transfer(HAT)pathway and thus forging the carbon-carbon bond formation with aldehyde as the acyl ***,our method represents the first example on the enone synthesis through coupling of“non-functionalized”aldehydes and alkenes as coupling partners,and offers a distinct organocatalytic pathway to the transition metal-catalyzed coupling transformations.

Uncertainty Principles on Clifford Modules

In this paper, we derive the optimal Cauchy–Schwarz inequalities on a class of Hilbert and Krein modules over a Clifford algebra, which heavily depend on the Clifford algebraic *** obtained inequalities further lead to very general uncertainty inequalities on these modules. Some new phenomena arise, due to the non-commutative nature, the Clifford-valued inner products and the Krein geometry. Taking into account applications, special attention is given to the Dirac operator and the Howe dual pair Pin(m) × osp(1|2). Moreover, it is surprisingly to find that the recent highly nontrivial uncertainty relation for triple observables is indeed a direct consequence of our Cauchy–Schwarz inequality. This new observation leads to refined uncertainty relations in terms of the Wigner–Yanase–Dyson skew information for mixed states and other generalizations. These show that the obtained uncertainty inequalities on Clifford modules can be considered as new uncertainty relations for multiple observables.
