Assume that the Tonglu Canal would be widened and deepened in which a water lock is constructed atthe river side, and made open to the sea side. The canal's planned control dimensions are determined, and the erosionand siltation characteristics along the river (totally 81. 8 km) are analyzed by the numerical calculation of one-dimen-sional unsteady flow and the relative standards. According to the data of the evolution, hydrology and sediment inthe Xiaomiaohong Waterway, it is found reasonable to select the channel near the Xingang Gate as the second sea-entering approach. This paper is helpful in planning and designing the approach.

世界一流大学是高等教育的一面旗帜,在全球知识经济时代对国家竞争力的提升至关重要,不仅直接关系着高等教育强国战略的顺利推进,而且对中华民族的伟大复兴具有重要的战略支撑作用。然而,当下世界一流大学的建设需要转换思维逻辑,将“从过去看现在”转向“站在未来看现在”,即基于2035和2050年的战略目标和社会形态来思考中国特色世界一流大学如何高质量发展。面向国际社会共同塑造的未来愿景,与其说是通过高等教育体系的系统改进来应对不确定性,不如说是依托世界一流大学的责任与担当直面人类社会所面临的重大挑战。从纵向看,中国在建世界一流大学实现了高水平发展,凭借优异的科研实力和创新能力开始跻身世界学术中心;从横向看,中国在建世界一流大学仍需高质量涵养,特别是在基础研究、重大原始创新等方面存在明显的差距;面向未来,中国在建世界一流大学同时肩负“自身强”与“强国家”双重使命,任重而道远。站在新的历史方位上,教育管理部门和办学者需要一种“内省”的方式,采取更为大胆的做法,通过重新勾勒一流大学建设新路来引领中国式高等教育现代化的发展。

Objective The relationship between fish consumption and stroke is inconsistent,and it is uncertain whether this association varies across predicted stroke *** A cohort study comprising 95,800 participants from the Prediction for Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk in China project was conducted.A standardized questionnaire was used to collect data on fish *** were stratified into low-and moderate-to-high-risk categories based on their 10-year stroke risk prediction *** ratios(HRs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs)were estimated using Cox proportional hazard models and additive interaction by relative excess risk due to interaction(RERI),attributable proportion(AP),and synergy index(SI).Results During 703,869 person-years of follow-up,2,773 incident stroke events were *** fish consumption was associated with a lower risk of stroke,particularly among moderate-to-high-risk individuals(HR=0.53,95%CI:0.47-0.60)than among low-risk individuals(HR=0.64,95%CI:0.49-0.85).A significant additive interaction between fish consumption and predicted stroke risk was observed(RERI=4.08,95%CI:2.80-5.36;SI=1.64,95%CI:1.42-1.89;AP=0.36,95%CI:0.28-0.43).Conclusion Higher fish consumption was associated with a lower risk of stroke,and this beneficial association was more pronounced in individuals with moderate-to-high stroke risk.

Deep learning provides exciting solutions in many fields, such as image analysis, natural language processing, and expert system, and is seen as a key method for various future applications. On account of its non-invasive and good soft tissue contrast, in recent years, Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) has been attracting increasing attention. With the development of deep learning, many innovative deep learning methods have been proposed to improve MRI image processing and analysis performance. The purpose of this article is to provide a comprehensive overview of deep learning-based MRI image processing and analysis. First, a brief introduction of deep learning and imaging modalities of MRI images is given. Then, common deep learning architectures are introduced. Next, deep learning applications of MRI images, such as image detection, image registration, image segmentation, and image classification are discussed. Subsequently, the advantages and weaknesses of several common tools are discussed, and several deep learning tools in the applications of MRI images are ***, an objective assessment of deep learning in MRI applications is presented, and future developments and trends with regard to deep learning for MRI images are addressed.

Compressed sensing-based time-domain channel estimator for full-duplex OFDM systems with IQ-imbalances

In full-duplex orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(OFDM) systems with in-phase and quadrature(IQ) imbalances, a time-domain least squares(TD-LS) channel estimator is proposed for estimating both the source-to-destination(intended) and the destination-to-destination(self-interference) channels. To further improve the performance, an adaptive orthogonal matching pursuit(OMP) is proposed and its sparsity is estimated by a threshold method. Finally, the full-duplex interference is removed using serial interference cancellation and sphere decoding is used to complete the maximum likelihood detection. Simulation results demonstrate that in terms of both the mean square error(MSE) and the bit error rate(BER), the proposed adaptive OMP performs better than the TD-LS by exploiting the sparse property of the channel. Additionally,compared to the gradient projection, the proposed adaptive OMP is better in the low and medium signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) regions and marginally worse in the high SNR region.

LSTM Based Reserve Prediction for Bank Outlets

Reserve allocation is a significant problem faced by commercial banking businesses every day. To satisfy the cash requirement of customers and abate the vault cash pressure, commercial banks need to appropriately allocate reserves for each bank outlet. Excessive reserve would impact the revenue of bank outlets. Low reserves cannot guarantee the successful operation of bank outlets. Considering the reserve requirement is effected by the past cash balance, we deal the reserve allocation problem as a time series prediction problem, and the Long Short Time Memory(LSTM) network is adapted to solve it. In addition, the proposed LSTM prediction model regards date property, which can affect the cash balance, as a primary factor. The experiment results show that our method outperforms some existing traditional methods.

Sedimentary strata typically exhibit the characteristics of transverse isotropy(VTI)with a vertical axis of ***,fractures in sedimentary strata tend to produce anisotropic closure due to horizontal in situ stress,resulting in pronounced orthorhombic anisotropy in VTI media under such stress conditions and influencing the propagation behavior of seismic *** studies have primarily focused on the elastic wave velocity anisotropy induced by applied stress in isotropic background media,neglecting the impact of VTI background media on the anisotropy induced by horizontal in situ stress and the response characteristics of seismic wave *** address these gaps,we first establish the effective elastic stiffness tensor of VTI media under horizontal in situ stress using nonlinear acoustoelastic ***,we derive the accurate and linearized approximate equations for P-wave seismic reflectivity of VTI media under horizontal in situ stress,based on wave equations and scattering theory,***,we compare and analyze the characteristics of orthorhombic anisotropic seismic response induced by horizontal in situ stress at various types of elastic reflection *** results demonstrate that the linearized approximation of the seismic reflection response characteristics closely aligns with the accurate equations under conditions of small stress below 10 MPa,effectively capturing the azimuth-dependent orthorhombic anisotropy induced by horizontal in situ stress in VTI *** results of this study also provide a novel theoretical approach and valuable insights into the seismic prediction of in situ stress.

An updated review and conceptual model for optimizing WEEE management in China from a life cycle perspective

Waste electrical and electronic equipment （WEEE） is a rapidly growing category of solid waste. China is now facing WEEE problems from both growing domestic generation and illegal imports. Currently, the amount of WEEE formally treated has increased steadily in China. The layout of the formal sector has been basically completed. Meanwhile, by controlling illegal disassembly activities, the informal sector has been gradually transformed to formal one. Beginning with the overview of the WEEE recycling industry in China, this paper first lists the latest progress in WEEE management from such aspects as the new edition of China RollS Directive （Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive）, the updated WEEE Treatment List, the updated WEEE fund standard, the revised National Hazardous Waste List, and a brand-new plan on extended producer responsibility. In so doing, we elucidate the current challenges on WEEE management in detail： the imbalance between fund levies and subsidies, the gap in the supervision scope, the homogenization of recycling industry and the lack of life cycle approaches. Finally, a conceptual framework for integrated management of WEEE is proposed from a life cycle perspective. Overall, the life cycle management of WEEE includes three aspects： developing life cycle information for decision-making, implementing life cycle engineering with life cycle tools, and improving WEEE legislation based on life cycle thinking. By providing specific operating strategies, this life cycle framework should help to optimize WEEE management in developing countries where legislation is imperfect and the recycling system is relatively immature.

As the Electrical and Electronic Equipment （EEE） are upgraded more frequently in China, a large quantity of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment （WEEE） was and will be generated. It becomes an urgent issue to develop and adopt an effective End-of-Life （EoL） strategy for EEE in order to balance the resource recovery and environmental impacts. In an EoL strategy hierarchy for EEE, reuse strategy is usually deemed to be prior to materials recovery and other strategies. But in practice, the advantages and disadvantages of different strategies are always context-dependent. Therefore, main EoL strategies for EEE in China need to be evaluated in environment and resources aspects from the life cycle perspective. In this study, the obsolete refrigerator and Power Supply Unit （PSU） ofdesktop PC are both taken as the target products. Life Cycle Assessment （LCA） is applied to assess the environmental impacts of different EoL scenarios in China： Unit Reuse Scenario （URS）, Component Reuse Scenario （CRS） and Materials Recovery Scenario （MRS）. The LCA results show that the EoL strategies hierarchy is reasonable for the part＇of computer, bui not necessarily suitable for obsolete refrigerators. When the policy makers promote or demote one EoL strategy especially reuse, it is necessary to take subsequent impacts into consideration.
