An all-k-nearest-neighbor （AkNN） query finds k nearest neighbors for each query object. This problem arises naturally in many areas, such as GIS （geographic information system）, multimedia retrieval, and recommender systems. To support various data types and flexible distance metrics involved in real applications, we study AkNN retrieval in metric spaces, namely, metric AkNN （MAkNN） search. Consider that the underlying indexes on the query set and the object set may not exist, which is natural in many scenarios. For example, the query set and the object set could be the results of other queries, and thus, the underlying indexes cannot be built in advance. To support MAkNN search on datasets without any underlying index, we propose an efficient disk-based algorithm, termed as Partition-Based MAkNN Algorithm （PMA）, which follows a partition-search framework and employs a series of pruning rules for accelerating the search. In addition, we extend our techniques to tackle an interesting variant of MAkNN queries, i.e., metric self-AkNN （MSAkNN） search, where the query set is identical to the object set. Extensive experiments using both real and synthetic datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our pruning rules and the efficiency of the proposed algorithms, compared with state-of-the-art MAkNN and MSAkNN algorithms.

The sodium taurocholate co-transporting polypeptide (NTCP), a bile acids transporter, has been identified as a new therapeutic target for the treatment of liver disease. This paper thoroughly investigates the function of NTCP for regulating bile acid regulation, its correlation with hepatitis B and D infections, and its association with various liver diseases. Additionally, in this review we examine recent breakthroughs in creating NTCP inhibitors and their prospective applications in liver disease treatment. While this review emphasizes the promising potential of targeting NTCP, it concurrently underscores the need for broader and more detailed research to fully understand the long-term implications and potential side effects associated with NTCP inhibition.

The Permian is an important period for the deposition of siliceous rocks on a global scale,but the genesis of chert is still *** better understand the mechanism of chert nodules deposition from Qixia Formation(P1q)(Lower Yangtze Plate,China),we analyzed the major,trace and rare earth elements of these chert nodule samples(CN)and surrounding rock samples(SR)using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry(ICPMS)and X-ray fluorescence(XRF)*** redox state,siliceous sources and depositional environment analysis show that CN have higher contents of SiO2,Fe2O3 and MnO comparing with SR,and their geochemical properties are *** and rare earth elements characteristics reveal that nodules were deposited under the action of biochemistry in the basin,no terrigenous materials contamination was observed and the contribution of upwelling was *** Al/(Al+Fe+Mn),Fe/Ti and Al-Fe-Mn discrimination diagram indicated the chert nodules are influenced by hydrothermal *** from redox-sensitive elements such as Th,U,V and Sc suggests that nodules were deposited in a reducing *** the convective mixing of hydrothermal action and normal seawater,excessive dissolved silicon and nutrients are absorbed and precipitated by biological action,and then transported by upwelling to shallow water for *** the evidence comes from the trace elements enrichment characters,Rare earth elements and Y(REY)distribution patterns and La/La^(*),Ce/Ce^(*),Eu/Eu^(*),LREE/HREE,Y/Ho and∑REE characteristics.

Eighteen 2′,4′-difluoro-3-（carbamoyl）biphenyl-4-yl benzoates were synthesized from diflunisal in three steps with total yields from 72% to 86%. All compounds were identified by IR, 1^H NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The anti-inflammatory activity and analgesic activity for 18 compounds were evaluated. The preliminary assay results showed that compounds 4a and 4p exhibited potent anti-inflammatory-analgesic activity.

Gui-Zhi-Jia-Ge-Gen-Tang(GZJGGT) is a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) prescription commonly used to treat cervical spondylopathy, scapulohumeral periarthritis, etc. Though it is widely applied in clinical practice, the effective constituents of GZJGGT remain unclear. This was the first report on the identification of the chemical constituents from GZJGGT in vitro and in vivo using LC-IT-MS combined with LC-Q-TOF-MS. A total of 141 constituents were detected in GZJGGT, and 77 were identified. These compounds mainly included flavonoid glycosides, triterpene saponins, monoterpene glycosides, puerosides, and organic acids. Among them, 12 compounds were unequivocally identified in comparison with reference substances. Additionally, a diagnostic base peak ion filtering strategy for rapid classification of flavonoid O-glycosides and C-glycosides was proposed. After gastrointestinal administration of GZJGGT to rats, 45 prototypes and 48 metabolites in rat plasma were speculated. In addition, the metabolic profile of GZJGGT was portrayed to understand interrelationship between metabolites.
