Energy budgets of larval stages of the Chinese green lacewing, Chrysopa sinica （Tjeder）（Neuroptera： Chrysopidae） were determined under laboratory conditions at photoperiod of 14：10 L：D, 27 ± 1℃ and 75% ± 2% RH. The energy used as ingestion, assimilation, respiration, productivity and feces was constructed for each developmental stage. In addition, under these experimental conditions, the potential of C. sinica as a biological control agent was evaluated according to the ingestion by this predator and the energy content of cotton aphid, Aphis gossypii （Glover）（Homoptera： Aphididae）. The larval stage of C. sinica was able to consume 1281.4 1-day-old aphids, 1018.7 2-day-old aphids, 626.9 3-day-old aphids, 393.5 4-day-old aphids, 312.1 5-day-old aphids or 203.5 9-day-old aphids, respectively. No significant difference was detected between the estimated number of aphids consumed by the lacewings using energetic methods and the actual number of aphids consumed by the lacewings in this experiment. Our results showed that C. sinica is an important natural enemy of the cotton aphid, and energetic methods are very useful to quantify biological control efficacy of natural enemies.

Effects of CO2 level （ambient vs. elevated） on the interactions among three cotton （Gossypium hirsutum） genotypes, the cotton aphid （Aphis gossypii Glover）, and its hymenoptera parasitoid （Lysiphlebiajaponica Ashrnead） were quantified. It was hypothesized that aphid-parasitoid interactions in crop systems may be altered by elevated CO2, and that the degree of change is influenced by plant genotype. The cotton genotypes had high （M9101）, medium （HZ401） and low （ZMS13） gossypol contents, and the response to elevated CO2 was genotype-specific. Elevated C02 increased the ratio of total non-structural carbohydrates to nitrogen （TNC ： N） in the high-gossypol genotype and the mediumgossypol genotype. For all three genotypes, elevated CO2 had no effect on concentrations of gossypol and condensed tannins. A. gossypii fitness declined when aphids were reared on the high-gossypol genotype versus the low-gossypol genotype under elevated CO2. Furthermore, elevated CO2 decreased the developmental time of L. japonica associated with the high-gossypol genotype and the low-gossypol genotype, but did not affect parasitism or emergence rates. Our study suggests that the abundance of A. gossypii on cotton will not be directly affected by increases in atmospheric CO2. We speculate that A. gossypii may diminish in pest status in elevated COz and high-gossypol genotype environments because of reduced fitness to the high-gossypol genotype and shorter developmental time of L. japonica.

XRD and TEM analysis of the microstructure in the brazing joint of 3003 cladding aluminum alloy

The material used in this experiment was 3003 cladding aluminum alloy, the cladding metal was 4004 aluminum alloy. The aluminum plate was brazed by means of vacuum brazing. The microstructure in the brazing joint was studied by means of X-ray diffractometry （XRD） and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. The test result indicates that the suitable brazing technique parameters are brazing temperature, 628℃; keeping time, 10 min; vacuum degree, 6.5×10^-4 Pa. XRD test indicates that there are new intermetallic compounds different from the base metal. TEM analysis indicates that Cu2Mg and CuaMn2Mg are formed in the brazing joint. The shape of Cu2Mg is irregular and the shape of Cu3Mn2Mg is circle, and there are tiny particles in it.

SiCp/2014Al composites were bonded with the vacuum diffusion welding technique using Ni as the interlayer metal. Ni and Al were interdiffused and there were intermetallic compounds formed in the inter transition layer, which was composed of Ni3Al//NiAl//NiAl3. The relation between the diffusion distance and the element concentration was calculated according to Fick＇s second law. The relations of the diffusion concentration and the diffusion welding technique parameters were calculated.

目的观察氯仿(chloroform,CF)和邻苯二甲酸二辛酯(dioctylphthalate,DOP)联合染毒对小鼠肝脏酶的影响。方法选取40只成年ICR小鼠,随机分成8组,即雌性对照组(玉米油)、雌性DOP单独染毒组(1/10 LD_(50),540 mg/kg)、雌性CF单独染毒组(1/10 LD_(50),112 mg/kg)、雌性DOP(1/10 LD_(50),540 mg/kg)+CF(1/10 LD_(50),112 mg/kg)联合染毒组,雄性也做同样分组及处理,每组5只。采用灌胃方式连续染毒15 d,每天1次。测定肝脏组织中乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)、ATP酶活力。结果与对照组比较,DOP组、CF组和联合染毒组小鼠肝脏器系数、LDH活力均升高,Na^+-K^+-ATP酶、Ca^(2+)-Mg^(2+)-ATP酶活力均降低,差异有统计学意义(P0.05),高于CF单独染毒组,差异有统计学意义(P0.05),Ca^(2+)-Mg^(2+)-ATP酶活力升高,差异有统计学意义(P0.05)。与DOP单独染毒组比较,联合染毒组雄性小鼠的Ca^(2+)-Mg^(2+)-ATP、Na^+-K^+-ATP酶活力均无明显差异(P>0.05),LDH酶活力升高,差异有统计学意义(P0.05),其他各联合组均存在联合作用(P<0.05),表现为拮抗作用。结论DOP和CF联合染毒可能对小鼠肝脏系统的无氧糖酵解和能量代谢产生抑制作用。

Biodiversity research has shown that primary productivity increases with plant species number,especially in many experimental grassland ***,we assessed the correlation between productivity and diversity of phytophages and natural enemy assemblages associated with planting date and intercropping in four cotton ***-one pairs of data were used to determine Pearson correlations between species richness,total number of individuals,diversity indices and productivity for each assemblage every five days from 5 June to 15 September *** the same trophic level,the productivity exhibited a significant positive correlation with species richness of the phytophage or predator assemblage.A significant correlation was found between productivity and total number of individuals in most cotton ***,no significant correlations were observed between productivity and diversity indices(including indices of energy flow diversity and numerical diversity)in most cotton fields for either the phytophage or the predator *** richness of phytophage assemblage and total individual numbers were significantly correlated with primary ***,species richness of natural enemy assemblage and total number of individuals correlated with phytophage assemblage productivity.A negative but not significant correlation occurred between the indices of numerical diversity and energy flow diversity and lower trophic-level productivity in the cotton-phytophage and phytophage-predator assemblages for most intercropped cotton *** results clearly showed that there were no correlations between diversity indices and productivity within the same or lower trophic levels within the phytophage and predator assemblages in cotton agroecosystems,and inter-cropped cotton fields had a stronger ability to support the natural enemy assemblage and potentially to reduce phytophages.

Nutrients transported from catchments are one of the most important sources for lake eutrophication. In this study, the Honghu Lake Basin, located at the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, was chosen as the study area, and the watershed hydrological distribution model SWAT (Soil Water Assessment Tool) was applied to evaluate the trajectory of watershed nutrient transportation over time. Based on the analysis of driving factors, three experiments corresponding to natural, traditional and modern agriculture processes respectively were designed to evaluate the changes of nutrient inputs from catchments under the three environments. The simulation results showed that there were variations in nutrient production and changes in the range and rate. For three periods of the experiments, TN concentrations have changed as 0.12→0.31→1.15 mg/L, and production as 420→1650→6522 T/a; while TP concentrations changed as 0.018→0.057→0.117 mg/L, and production as 78→303→665 T/a. The nutrient transportation experienced slowly long-term increases during 1840―1950, then showed a relatively rapid increase during the period of 1950―1980s and the period from 1980 to early 1990s, with increasing rate of 1.4% and 2.4% respectively. And from the later 1990s to now, an obviously increasing trend with 15% increasing rate occurred. The effect from human activities on the watershed nutrient transportation increased rapidly, and had become a dominant factor in changes of the nutrient transportation.

Based on constructal theory,a rectangular parallel phase change microchannel model in a three-dimensional electronic device(TDED)is established with R134a as the cooling *** on the minimization of a complex function(CF)composed of linear weighting sum of maximum temperature difference and pumping power consumption,constructal design of the TDED is conducted first;and then,maximum temperature difference and pumping power consumption are minimized by non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II *** results reveal that there exist an optimal mass flow rate(0.0012 kg/s)and a quadratic optimal aspect ratio(AR)(0.39)of the microchannel which lead to quadratic minimum CF(0.817).Compared with the original value,the CF after optimization is reduced by 18.34%.Reducing the inlet temperature of cooling fluid and microchannel number appropriately can help to enhance the overall performance of *** using the artificial neural network and genetic algorithms in the toolboxes of Matlab software,the optimal AR gained in the Pareto solution set is located between 0.2–*** smallest deviation index among three discussed strategies is 0.346,and the corresponding optimal AR is 0.413,which is selected as the optimal design strategy of the microchannel in the TDED under multiple *** findings in this study can serve as theoretical guides for thermal designs of electronic devices.
