Purpose:The purpose of the National Spinal Cord Injury Registry of Iran(NSCIR-IR)is to create an infrastructure to assess the quality of care for spine trauma and in this study,we aim to investigate whether the NSCIR-IR successfully provides necessary post-discharge follow-up data for these ***:An observational prospective study was conducted from April 11,2021 to April 22,2022 in 8 centers enrolled in NSCIR-IR,respectively Arak,Rasht,Urmia,Shahroud,Yazd,Kashan,Tabriz,and *** were classified into 3 groups based on their need for care resources,respectively:(1)non-spinal cord injury(SCI)patients without surgery(group 1),(2)non-SCI patients with surgery(group 2),and(3)SCI patients(group 3).The assessment tool was a self-designed questionnaire to evaluate the care quality in 3 phases:pre-hospital,in-hospital,and *** data from the first 2 phases were collected through the *** post-hospital data were collected by conducting follow-up *** follow-ups were conducted for groups 1 and 2(non-SCI patients),while group 3(SCI patients)had a face-to-face *** study took place during the COVID-19 *** on age and time interval from injury to follow-up were expressed as mean±standard deviation(SD)and response rate and follow-up loss as a ***:Altogether 1538 telephone follow-up records related to 1292 patients were registered in the *** the total calls,918(71.05%)were related to successful follow-ups,but 38 cases died and thus were excluded from data *** the end,post-hospital data from 880 patients alive were *** success rate of follow-ups by telephone for groups 1 and 2 was 73.38%and 67.05%respectively,compared to 66.67%by face-to-face visits for group 3,which was very hard during the COVID-19 *** data completion rate after discharge ranged from 48%-100%,22%-100%and 29%-100%for groups ***:To improve patient accessibility,NSCIR-IR should take me

Influences of nanoparticles and chain length on thermodynamic and electrical behavior of fluorine liquid crystals

Hydrogen-bonded polar nematic liquid crystal series with the general formula n OBAF(n = 7-12) is studied. The mesomorphic characterization is demonstrated through differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and polarized optical microscopy(POM). The complexes with short alkyl chains(n = 7, 8) present a wide nematic range and monotropic smectic F mesophase, whereas the longer alkyl chain(n = 10-12) analogues show high melting and low clearing mesomorphic liquid crystals. The thermal range of the mesophase and the birefringence increase with chain length decreasing. Furthermore, the effect of the nanoparticles(LiNbO_(3)) on the thermal and the electrical behavior of 8OBAF are investigated. The presence of LiNbO_(3) nanoparticles increases the conductivity and reduces the resistivity of the complex.

In underground mines,sublevel stoping is used among a variety of different methods for mining an orebody,which creates large underground *** this case,the stability of these openings is affected by a number of factors,including the geometrical characteristics of the rock and mining-induced *** this study,a sensitivity analysis was conducted with the numerical,squat pillar,and Mathews stability methods using the Taguchi technique to properly understand the influence of geometric parameters and stress on stope stability according to Sormeh underground mine *** results show a full factorial analysis is more reliable since stope stability is a complex ***,the numerical results indicate that overburden stress has the most impact on stope stability,followed by stope ***,the results obtained with Mathews and squat pillar methods show that stope height has the greatest impact,followed by overburden stress and *** appears that these methods overestimate the impact of stope ***,it is highly recommended that Mathews and squat pillar methods should not be used in high stope that is divided with several sill ***,Mathews method cannot accurately predict how the sill pillar impacts the stope *** addition,numerical analysis shows that all geometric parameters affect the roof safety factor,whereas the sill pillar has no significant influence on the safety factor of the hanging wall,which is primarily determined by the stope height–span ratio.

Oxidation behaviors of Ni(Cr)-TiB2 coating deposited by HVOF technique were studied at 800,900 and 1 000℃in air. The microstructures of as-sprayed and oxidized coatings were characterized by X-ray diffractometry(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).After oxidation at 800℃,a thin and adherent oxide layer was formed on the surface of the *** increasing exposure temperature,the thickness of the oxide layer increased;and at 1 000℃the oxide layer separated from the *** of the kinetics of oxidation by using the thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)technique shows a parabolic oxidation rate.

Nanosized 1 at% Sm^(3+)doped Y_(2)O_(3)powders were prepared by an ultrasound assisted sol-gel method.Y_(2)O_(3):Sm^(3+)powders crystallize in Y_(2)O_(3)pure cubic phase and XRD analysis shows that the as-used agitation protocol affects strongly the crystallite’s shape and mean *** recorded emission spectra under λ_(em)=600 nm exhibit two absorption bands;the first one is assigned to O^(2-)→Sm^(3+)charge transfer state(CTS) with a maximum absorption at 223 nm,and the second is due to intraconfigurational transition 4f^(5)-4f^(5) of Sm^(3+) with a maximum absorption at 407 *** 223 and 407 nm transitions are attributed to characteristics intra-configurational transitions of Sm^(3+).All emission spectra are dominated by reddish/orange luminescence located at 606 nm and assigned to ^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(7/2) *** is found that the photoluminescence intensity of samples obtained under excitation at 407 nm is 60 times smaller than that obtained under 223 nm *** time measurements of the ^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(7/2) luminescence transition indicate that decay time of nano-sized powder is significantly shorter than bulk material one.

The measurement of influence in social networks has received a lot of attention in the data mining community. Influence maximization refers to the process of finding influential users who make the most of information or product adoption. In real settings, the influence of a user in a social network can be modeled by the set of actions （e.g., ＂like＂, ＂share＂, ＂retweet＂, ＂comment＂） performed by other users of the network on his/her publications. To the best of our knowledge, all proposed models in the literature treat these actions equally. However, it is obvious that a ＂like＂ of a publication means less influence than a ＂share＂ of the same publication. This suggests that each action has its own level of influence （or importance）. In this paper, we propose a model （called Social Action-Based Influence Maximization Model, SAIM） for influence maximization in social networks. In SAIM, actions are not considered equally in measuring the ＂influence power＂ of an individual, and it is composed of two major steps. In the first step, we compute the influence power of each individual in the social network. This influence power is computed from user actions using PageRank. At the end of this step, we get a weighted social network in which each node is labeled by its influence power. In the second step of SAIM, we compute an optimal set of influential nodes using a new concept named ＂influence-BFS tree＂. Experiments conducted on large-scale real-world and synthetic social networks reveal the good performance of our model SAIM in computing, in acceptable time scales, a minimal set of influential nodes allowing the maximum spreading of information.
