5-Hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) and furfural (FF), two bio-based platform chemicals, were produced from various raw lignocellulosic materials (corncob, corn stover, wheat straw, rice straw and sugarcane bagasse) in a water-tetrahydrofuran media by using NaHSO4 as catalyst. The influences of reaction temperature (160–200 °C), reaction time (30–120 min), solvent volume ratio, feedstock concentration (2.4wt%–11.1wt%) and catalyst dosage were studied. The highest HMF and FF yields obtained from corncob were 47mol% and 56mol% under condition of 190 °C, 90 min, 10/1 of THF/H2O. Besides, the lignin in the raw biomass was also depolymerized into organosolv lignin.

Sorbitol Hydrogenolysis to Glycols over Baisic Additive Promoted Ni-based Catalysts

A series of Ni based catalysts with different supports and basic additives were prepared by sequential impregnation method. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, H2-TPR and CO2-TPD techniques. It was found that the introduction of basic additives enhanced the basicities of catalyats and promoted the dispersities of Ni particles by strong interaction between Ni2＋ and basic additives. Among the Ni based catalysts, 10%Ni/10%La203/ZrO2 showed the superior performance in sorbitol hydrogenolysis. The synergistic effect of Ni and La203 was proven to play an essential role in selective synthesis of EG and 1,2-PG. In the optimal reaction condition, the catalyst presented 100% sorbitol conversion and over 48% glycols （EG and 1,2-PG） yield. The kinetics study of polyols （sorbitol, xylitol and glycerol） hydrogenolysis showed that polyols with more hydroxyl number have higher activity and products distribution was final results of kinetic balance, which could give us some inspiration abeut how to change the products selectivity.

The carbon and water cycle,an important biophysical process of terrestrial ecosystems,is changed by anthropogenic revegetation in arid and semiarid ***,there is still a lack of understanding of the mechanisms of carbon and water coupling in intrinsic ecosystems in the context of human *** on the CO,and H,O flux measurements of the desert steppe with the planted shrub Caragana liouana,this study explored the carbon and water flux coupling of the ecosystem by analyzing the variations in gross primary productivity(GPP),evapotranspiration(ET)and water use efficiency(WUE)and discussing the driving mechanisms of biological *** seasonal variation in climate factors induced a periodic variation pattern of biophysical traits and carbon and water *** GPP and ET fluctuated in seasons,but the WUE was relatively stable in the growing *** GP,ET and WUE were significantly driven by global radiation(R,),temperature(T,and T),water vapor pressure deficit,leaf area index and plant water stress index(PWSI).However,R,temperature and PWSI were the most important factors regulating WUE.R,and temperature directly affected WUE with a positive effect but indirectly inhibited WUE by rising *** water stress inhibited photosynthesis and transpiration of the planted shrub community in the desert *** the plant water stress exceeded a threshold(PWSI>0.54),the WUE would decrease since the GPP responded more quickly to the plant water stress than *** findings suggest that policies related to large-scale carbon sequestration initiatives under afforestation must first fully consider the status of water consumption and WUE.

Software security poses substantial risks to our society because software has become part of our life. Numerous techniques have been proposed to resolve or mitigate the impact of software security issues. Among them, software testing and analysis are two of the critical methods, which significantly benefit from the advancements in deep learning technologies. Due to the successful use of deep learning in software security, recently,researchers have explored the potential of using large language models(LLMs) in this area. In this paper, we systematically review the results focusing on LLMs in software security. We analyze the topics of fuzzing, unit test, program repair, bug reproduction, data-driven bug detection, and bug triage. We deconstruct these techniques into several stages and analyze how LLMs can be used in the stages. We also discuss the future directions of using LLMs in software security, including the future directions for the existing use of LLMs and extensions from conventional deep learning research.

The effect of rolling schedules on the ridging resistance of ultra-thin ferritic stainless steel(FSS)430 foil was evaluated by studying the microstructure and *** results show that specimens processed with three-pass cold rolling under the reductions of 40%,40%and 31%,respectively,exhibit improved ridging resistance owing to the microstructural refinement and the texture structure optimization.A nearly 40%reduction of ridging height can be achieved using the proposed rolling schedule compared to the other two rolling *** addition,the effect of annealing temperature after cold rolling on the ridging resistance of FSS 430 foil is also found to be crucial,and an optimal annealing temperature of 900℃ is obtained for FSS 430 foil with high ridging ***,the improvement in the ridging resistance of FSS 430 foil can be attributed to the reduction in the fraction of{001}and{114}components by optimization of the rolling and annealing processes.

In this study,a comprehensive analysis of microstructural features,morphology,crystal structures,and interface structures of long-period stacking ordered(LPSO)structures in a non-equilibrium Mg_(97)Zn_(1)Y_(16)Ca_(0.4)alloy cast in a steel mold was carried *** addition of Ca element plays an important role in the refinement of LPSO *** result reveals new poly-types including 20H F2F2F4,60R(F2F3F3)_(3),and 66H F2F3F3F2(F6)_(4)featuring a 6-Mg structure,alongside the prevalent 18R and 14H LPSO *** incoherent interface between 20H and the Mg matrix is split into two dislocation arrays,leading to the formation of a segment of 60R_(1).Moreover,the superstructure 116L,designated as(F2)_(18)F4,is formed through the ordered distribution of F4 stacking faults in 18R.

Several studies have found that transplantation of neural progenitor cells(NPCs)promotes the survival of injured ***,a poor integration rate and high risk of tumorigenicity after cell transplantation limits their clinical *** extracellular vesicles(sEVs)contain bioactive molecules for neuronal protection and *** studies have shown that stem/progenitor cell-derived sEVs can promote neuronal survival and recovery of neurological function in neurodegenerative eye diseases and other eye *** this study,we intravitreally transplanted sEVs derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells(hiPSCs)and hiPSCs-differentiated NPCs(hiPSC-NPC)in a mouse model of optic nerve *** results show that these intravitreally injected sEVs were ingested by retinal cells,especially those localized in the ganglion cell *** with hiPSC-NPC-derived sEVs mitigated optic nerve crush-induced retinal ganglion cell degeneration,and regulated the retinal microenvironment by inhibiting excessive activation of *** analysis further revealed that hiPSC-NPC derived sEVs transported neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory miRNA cargos to target cells,which had protective effects on RGCs after optic nerve *** findings suggest that sEVs derived from hiPSC-NPC are a promising cell-free therapeutic strategy for optic neuropathy.
