Objective To investigate the effects of novel selective phosphodiesterase4 (PDE4) inhibitors,Ariflo and SB242126A, on the endothelin-1 (ET-1) - induced contractility occurring in nonpregnant human myome-trium specimens. Methods contractile responses to Ariflo and SB242126A were recorded cumulatively on isola-ted human longitudinal myometrium specimens obtained through surgical operations. Results Ariflo andSB242126A could inhibit both the frequency and amplitude of spontaneous contractions of myometrium (pD2 =8. 6and 7. 6,n =4) and ET-1 -induced contractions in a concentration-dependent manner (pD2 = 7. 7 and 8. 1 ,n =5) ,with a potency similar to that of Rolipram. conclusion Ariflo and SB242126A have an obvious inhibitory effecton endothelin-1-induced contractility of isolated human myometrium. The finding suggested that PDE4 inhibitorsmight have clinical potential in treating preterm labour and dysmenorrhoea.

目的:探讨人格特征和血脂水平对心绞痛患者心肌酶的影响。方法:采用调查法对45例不稳定型心绞痛患者、60例稳定型心绞痛患者和50例健康人进行A型和D型人格问卷检测,同时检测血脂、肌钙蛋白(IcTNI)、肌酸激酶同工酶(cKMB)、乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)及乳酸脱氢酶1(LDH_1)水平。结果:与稳定型心绞痛和健康对照组比较,不稳定型心绞痛患者血清高密度脂蛋白水平显著降低;A型人格和D型人格得分、血清心肌酶水平显著升高。血清高密度脂蛋白水平与LDH_1显著负相关,时间紧迫感与血清LDH、LDH_1水平显著正相关,竞争和敌意与血清LDH水平显著正相关;D型人格特征与血清心肌酶水平无显著相关。高密度脂蛋白、时间紧迫感、竞争和敌意对心肌酶的效应值分布在0.125-0.039之间,为中等和较小效应值。结论:血清高密度脂蛋白、时间紧迫感和敌意与冠心病心肌损伤密切相关。

使用V-Fe合金为原料制备了Ti24.93V31.17cr37.40Fe6.50cex固溶体储氢合金,采用EPMA和XRD对合金显微组织和相结构进行了分析。结果表明,不含ce的Ti24.93V31.17cr37.40Fe6.50合金由Bcc主相和分布于晶界的Ti9.7Fe3.3O3和TiO0.325相组成。当ce添加于合金后,随着合金中ce含量的增加,Ti9.7Fe3.3O3和TiO0.325相含量明显减少。ce的添加抑制了富Ti相的析出,促进了合金元素尤其是Ti的均匀分布。此外,随ce含量增加,合金Bcc主相平均原子半径和晶格常数随之增大,有利于增大合金的储氢容量。

Thoracic Spinal cord Stab Injury: A case Report and Literature Review

Thoracic spinal cord stab injuries are rare lesions. A 17-year-old boy was stabbed on his back by his classmate when he bent forward to pick up his cloth from the ground. On admission, he presented with: complete paraplegia with muscle strength of zero on all muscle groups, complete anesthesia from dermatome 10 and below, acute urinary retention, and a four-centimeter wound on the thoracolumbar region from which cerebrospinal fluid mixed with blood was oozing out. A high-dose methylprednisolone protocol was started (30 mg/kg in one hour and then 5.4 mg/kg over 23 hours) an indwelling urinary catheter placed and sterile dressing of the wound done. Antibiotics and analgesics were also administered. The computed tomography scanning revealed a spinal cord transection at T10-T11 level with incarceration of the broken knife blade. An emergency thoracic laminectomy was performed. Removal of the broken knife blade revealed complete spinal cord transection with a compressive hematoma within the spinal cord which was removed by smooth suction. The spinal dura was sutured and the wound closed in many layers. On day 14 after surgery, sensitivity was recovered with 3 on 5 muscle strength in both lower limbs except for both feet where motor function remained null. Urinary retention and fecal incontinence persisted. The patient was discharged from our service for a rehabilitation center. At 32-month follow-up, neurological examination was unchanged although patient noticed a slight improvement of sphincter disturbances.

Study of Gas Heating by a Microwave Plasma Torch

Among the different types of microwave plasma torches, the axial injection torch (TIA) has been used for several years to create chemically active species, in applications such as gas analysis, surface processing and gaseous waste treatments. The TIA allows the coupling of microwave energy (2.45 GHz) to a gas injected axially at the nozzle’s exit. The TIA produces non-local thermodynamic equilibrium plasmas with a high luminosity and a maximum density of charged particles at the nozzle’s exit. The present work is dedicated to study the plasma created by a TIA, running at atmospheric pressure. The study involves both experiment and modeling of this torch, in order to maximize the coupling between the microwave power and the plasma and to define the optimum plasma and flow operating conditions for plasma-to-gas heat transfer.

为了解普通小麦EST来源的微卫星的多样性,从大约1 000个包含微卫星的ESTs中设计了300对引物,研究和评估了它们的多态性水平,并且将多态性标记加入到现有的遗传图谱中。在五种不同类型的重复单元中,三个碱基的重复单元出现最多,占到77%。几乎所有的EST-SSRs标记(99.3%)的重复单元都含有G-c碱基对。37.4%的微卫星都是四次重复。对于扩增和多态性,300对引物中有60对没有扩增,21.3%的扩增引物没能产生预期的扩增片断。58%的标记至少在所用8个材料的一个中显示出多态性。W7984和Opata组合表现出最高的多态性水平。大多数普通小麦EST-SSRs标记的重复次数小于10,并且4次重复是最为普遍的。81个新的EST-SSR位点被添加到两个已有的参照遗传图谱中(62个加到ITMI,19个加到cTcS)。研究结果表明小麦EST-SSRs标记展示了一些不同于基因组微卫星的特异特征,在标记发展和其他遗传应用中,这就使得它们能够成为一种非常有价值的资源。

An Evolutionary Model for the Neoproterozoic (Ediacaran)-Phanerozoic Biosphere. Part One: concepts and Exploitation of Aquatic Environments

The evolutionary history of the biosphere is characterized by aromorphosis: biological evolution by a general increase in the degree of organization without developing high degrees of specialization [1]. Four major stages of the evolutionary transformation of life (mega-aromorphoses) can be established in the recorded succession of the Neoproterozoic (Ediacaran)-Phanerozoic aromorphoses reflecting changes of the dominant groups. They are defined by the appearance of archetypes ensuring the possibilities of a prolonged and diverse rise of the level of their organization leading to significant increase in the activity of living organisms and their emerging independence from the environment. A successive series of developmental stages exploiting of the aquatic environment of the Neoproterozoic (Ediacaran)-Phanerozoic biosphere can be established based on their dominant groups: the biospheres of protozoans, proto-metazoans, protobilaterals, fishes and amphibians.
