In poultry,feed based on maggots,like larvae of black soldier fly(Hermetia illucens) is an attractive option to substitute current ingredients which are expensive and often in direct or indirect competition with human *** information is currently available on the utility of these larvae in poultry feed,so goals of this study were to determine whether larvae could be reared on horse manure under traditional farming conditions and to evaluate the growth performances of a local poultry fed these larvae and the fatty acids profiles of their *** freezing and thawing,larvae were introduced in the feed of Ardennaise chickens between 30 and 80 days of *** in the control group received a commercial standard feed,while those in the treatment group received the same commercial feed in which 8% was substituted with whole fresh larvae corresponding to 2% on a dry matter *** ± standard errors of larval length and weight were 20.67 ± 2.21 mm and 0.14 ± 0.02 g,*** larval percentages of dry matter and of substances extractable in diethyl ether were 24.6% and 23.1%,*** fatty acids profiles were predominantly composed of lauric acid(28.1%) and palmitic acid(22.0%).Least squares means of weekly weights of chicken,adjusted for the effects of sex,replication and initial weights,were significantly higher(P control *** other measurements were not statistically different between larvae-fed and control chicken,including fatty acid profiles,protein content and w6/w3 ratio.

针对同时具有线性外部干扰与非线性不确定性下的离散时间部分线性系统的最优输出调节问题,提出了仅利用在线数据的基于强化学习的数据驱动控制方法.首先,该问题可拆分为一个受约束的静态优化问题和一个动态规划问题,第一个问题可以解出调节器方程的解.第二个问题可以确定出控制器的最优反馈增益.然后,运用小增益定理证明了存在非线性不确定性离散时间部分线性系统的最优输出调节问题的稳定性.针对传统的控制方法需要准确的系统模型参数用来解决这两个优化问题,提出了一种数据驱动离线策略更新算法,该算法仅使用在线数据找到动态规划问题的解.然后,基于动态规划问题的解,利用在线数据为静态优化问题提供了最优解.最后,仿真结果验证了该方法的有效性.

The ability to control high-voltage actuator arrays relies, to date, on expensive microelectronic processes or on individual wiring of each actuator to a single off-chip high-voltage switch. Here we present an alternative approach that uses on-chip photoconductive switches together with a light projection system to individually address high-voltage actuators. Each actuator is connected to one or more switches that are nominally OFF unless turned ON using direct light illumination. We selected hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) as our photoconductive material, and we provide a complete characterization of its light to dark conductance, breakdown field, and spectral response. The resulting switches are very robust, and we provide full details of their fabrication processes. We demonstrate that the switches can be integrated into different architectures to support both Ac and Dc-driven actuators and provide engineering guidelines for their functional design. To demonstrate the versatility of our approach, we demonstrate the use of the photoconductive switches in two distinctly different applications—control of µm-sized gate electrodes for patterning flow fields in a microfluidic chamber and control of cm-sized electrostatic actuators for creating mechanical deformations for haptic displays.

Structural analysis of steel frames is typically performed using beam elements. Since these elements are unable to explicitly capture the local buckling behavior of steel cross-sections, traditional steel design specifications use the concept of cross-section classification to determine the extent to which the strength and deformation capacity of a cross-section are affected by local buckling. The use of plastic design methods are restricted to class 1 cross-sections, which possess sufficient rotation capacity for plastic hinges to develop and a collapse mechanism to form. local buckling prevents the development of plastic hinges with such rotation capacity for cross-sections of higher classes and, unless computationally demanding shell elements are used, elastic analysis is required. However, this article demonstrates that local buckling can be mimicked effectively in beam elements by incorporating the continuous strength method (cSM) strain limits into the analysis. Furthermore, by performing an advanced analysis that accounts for both geometric and material nonlinearities, no additional design checks are required. The positive influence of the strain hardening observed in stocky cross-sections can also be harnessed, provided a suitably accurate stress–strain relationship is adopted;a quad-linear material model for hot-rolled steels is described for this purpose. The cSM strain limits allow cross-sections of all slenderness to be analyzed in a consistent advanced analysis framework and to benefit from the appropriate level of load redistribution. The proposed approach is applied herein to individual members, continuous beams, and frames, and is shown to bring significant benefits in terms of accuracy and consistency over current steel design specifications.
