In-situ SR-XRD measurements revealed that the crystallization process in Zr41.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5 bulk metallic glass is significantly different from that in tradi-tional glasses. Subsequent heating at 10 GPa converts the sample from amorphous phase into the metastable fcc phase and then leads to the fcc phase back to the amorphous phase, indicating that there exists ’reversible’ phase transition phe-nomena in the material under high pressure and high tem-perature.

Skeletal muscle plays a significant role in both local and systemic energy metabolism. The current investigation aims to explore the role of the Bambi gene in skeletal muscle, focusing on its implications for muscle hypertrophy and systemic metabolism. We hypothesize that skeletal muscle-specific deletion of Bambi induces muscle hypertrophy, improves metabolic performance, and activates thermogenic adipocytes via the reprogramming of progenitor of i WAT, offering potential therapeutic strategies for metabolic syndromes. Leveraging the Chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP)-seq and bioinformatics analysis, Bambi gene is shown to be a direct target of HIF2α, which is further confirmed by ChIP-qPCR and promoter luciferase assay. Skeletal muscle-specific Bambi deletion led to significant muscle hypertrophy and improved metabolic parameters, even under high-fat diet conditions. This deletion induced metabolic reprogramming of stromal vascular fractions(SVFs) into thermogenic adipocytes, contributing to systemic metabolic improvements, potentially through the secretory ***, mice with skeletal muscle-specific Bambi deletion demonstrate resistance to high-fat diet-induced metabolic disorders, highlighting a potential therapeutic pathway for metabolic syndrome management. Thus, skeletal muscle-specific deletion of Bambi triggers muscle growth, enhances metabolic performance, and activates thermogenic adipocytes. These findings suggest Bambi as a novel therapeutic target for metabolic syndromes, providing new insights into the interaction between muscle hypertrophy and systemic metabolic improvement. The study underscores the potential of manipulating muscle physiology to regulate whole-body metabolism, offering a novel perspective on treating metabolic disorders.

The solidification and glass forming ability of Zr41Ti14Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5 bulk glassy forming alloy is investigated by Bridgman unidirectional solidification at different growth velocities under different gravity field orientations. Large differences in glass formation, undercooling and crystallization morphology on different solidification conditions have been found and discussed from the point of view of gravity induced convection. The results are useful for understanding the nucleation and growth in the melt and glass formation mechanism in the alloy.

Decision Aid Model for Private-owned Electric Vehicles Participating in Frequency Regulation Ancillary Service Market

To reduce the difficulty and enhance the enthusiasm of private-owned electric vehicles(EVs) in participating in frequency regulation ancillary service market(FRASM), a decision aid model(DAM) is proposed. This paper presents three options for EV participating in FRASM, i. e., the base mode(BM), unidirectional charging mode(UCM), and bidirectional charging/discharging mode(BCDM), based on a reasonable simplification of users' participating willingness. In BM, individual EVs will not be involved in FRASM, and DAM will assist users to set the optimal charging schemes based on travel plans under the time-of-use(TOU) price. UCM and BCDM are two modes in which EVs can take part in FRASM. DAM can assist EV users to create their quotation plan, which includes hourly upper and lower reserve capabilities and regulation market mileage prices. In UCM and BCDM, the difference is that only the charging rate can be adjusted in the UCM, and the EVs in BCDM can not only charge but also discharge if necessary. DAM can estimate the expected revenue of all three modes, and EV users can make the final decision based on their preferences. Simulation results indicate that all the three modes of DAM can reduce the cost, while BCDM can get the maximum expected revenue.

Synthesis and Photovoltaic Properties of Poly（5,6-bis（octyloxy）-4,7- di（thiophen-2-yl）benzo-[c] [l,2,5]-thiadiazole-9,9-dioctvlfluorene）

A donor-acceptor type conjugated polymer poly（5,6-bis（octyloxy）-4,7-di（thiophen-2-yl）benzo-[c] [1,2,5]- thiadiazole-9,9-dioctylfluorene）（POTBTF） based on octyloxy-containing benzothiadiazole （OTBT） and octyl- containing fluorine （F） was synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction. The polymer possesses a narrow bandgap and strong light harvesting ability with excellent thermal stability and reasonable solubility. POTBTF exhibited a broad absorption from 300 to 600 nm with an absorption peak at 543.8 nm. The power conversion efficiency of the polymer solar cell based on POTBTF/PC71BM （1：3, w/w） reached 1.77% with a short-circuit current density of 6.69 mA/cm2, an open-circuit voltage of 0.71 V, and a fill factor of 0.374 under AM 1.5 G irradiation （100 mW/cm2） without annealing or any additives. The results indicate that introducing long alkoxy side chains into benzothiadiazole would not only improve the solubility of the polymers but also maintain the planarity of molecule conformation, and therefore, enhance the performance of photovoltaic devices.

Prediction of lime utilization ratio of dephosphorization in BOF steelmaking based on online sequential extreme learning machine with forgetting mechanism

The machine learning models of multiple linear regression(MLR),support vector regression(SVR),and extreme learning ma-chine(ELM)and the proposed ELM models of online sequential ELM(OS-ELM)and OS-ELM with forgetting mechanism(FOS-ELM)are applied in the prediction of the lime utilization ratio of dephosphorization in the basic oxygen furnace steelmaking *** ELM model exhibites the best performance compared with the models of MLR and ***-ELM and FOS-ELM are applied for sequential learning and model *** optimal number of samples in validity term of the FOS-ELM model is determined to be 1500,with the smallest population mean absolute relative error(MARE)value of 0.058226 for the *** variable importance analysis reveals lime weight,initial P content,and hot metal weight as the most important variables for the lime utilization *** lime utilization ratio increases with the decrease in lime weight and the increases in the initial P content and hot metal weight.A prediction system based on FOS-ELM is applied in actual industrial production for one *** hit ratios of the predicted lime utilization ratio in the error ranges of±1%,±3%,and±5%are 61.16%,90.63%,and 94.11%,*** coefficient of determination,MARE,and root mean square error are 0.8670,0.06823,and 1.4265,*** system exhibits desirable performance for applications in actual industrial pro-duction.

A new charge transfer cocrystal of 1,2,4,5-tetracyanobenzene(TCNB)-phenazine(PTC)was prepared by solvent evaporation *** donor and acceptor molecules of cocrystal are stacked face to face with a mixed-stacking,implying a strong charge transfer(CT)interactions in the cocrystal *** spectroscopic studies,single-crystal X-ray diffraction structure,density functional theory(DFT)and Hirschfield surfaces calculations are carried out to explore the relationship between structure and properties of cocrystal system,which show that the intermolecular interactions in PTC are stronger than those of single components,leading to the stability and photophysical behaviors of cocrystal different from their constitute *** study will be helpful for the design and preparation of multifunctional cocrystal materials.

Copper nanowire-TiO2-polyacrylate composite electrodes with high conductivity and smoothness for flexible polymer solar cells

Copper nanowire （Cu NW） transparent electrodes have attracted considerable attention due to their outstanding electrical properties, flexibility and low cost. However, complicated post-treatment techniques are needed to obtain good electrical conductivity, because of the organic residues and oxide layers on the surface of the Cu NWs. In addition, commonly used methods such as thermal annealing and acid treatment often lead to nanowire damage. Herein, a TiO2 sol treatment was introduced to obtain Cu NW transparent electrodes with superb performance （13 Ω/sq @ 82% T） at room temperature within one minute. Polymer solar ceils with excellent flexibility were then fabricated on the copper nanowire- TiO2-polyacrylate composite electrode. The power conversion efficiency （PCE） of the cells based on a blend of poly（3-hexylthiophene）（P3HT） and phenyl-C61- butyric acid methyl ester （PC61BM） reached 3.11%, which was better than the control devices that used indium tin oxide （ITO）-PET electrodes, and outperforms other Cu NW based organic solar cells previously reported. The PCE of the solar cells based on Cu NW electrodes remained at 90% after 500 cycles of bending, while the PET/ITO solar cells failed after 20 and 200 cycles, with sheet resistance of 35 and 15 Ω/sq, respectively.
