The cellular protein tetherin tethers the HIV-1 viral particles on the cellular membrane to inhibit the replication of HIV-1. However, the HIV-1 accessory protein Vpu counteracts the antiviral function of tetherin. In this study, two retroviral vector plasmids were constructed. One inhibited the vpu gene expression; the other one over-expressed the tetherin. Both retroviral vector plasmids could be packaged in the packaging cell line PT67 to obtain the corresponding retroviruses. The retroviral vector plasmids＇ functions of tetherin over-expression or vpu-RNAi were detected at the cell level. Retroviral vector plasmids were transfected to PT67 cells at different ratios from 0T3V to 3TOV, and then mixed retroviruses were harvested. The antiviral functions of mixed retroviruses were detected in HIV-1 infected TZM-bi cells. The results showed that packaged mixed retroviruses could repress the replication of HIV-1 in TZM-bl cells.

The corrosion behavior of B10 copper-nickel alloy welded joints in seawater pipeline system was analyzed under local turbulence induced by weld residual *** corrosion behavior was evaluated by array electrode technology,mor-phology and elemental characterization,and COMSOL Multiphysics *** results provide a theoretical basis for the corrosion and leakage of B10 alloy in seawater pipeline under the action of *** results show that residual height-induced turbulence exhibits a significant effect on the corrosion behavior in different areas of welded joints in B10 *** can damage some surfaces,causing polarity deflection followed by acceleration of corrosion,or it is easier to form a protective film to slow down *** Multiphysics results show that the shear rate and turbulent kinetic energy increase linearly with the increase in residual height and *** corrosion behavior of alloy surface is influenced by controlling the mass transfer rate and surface state.

Few studies investigated the effects of exposure to NO_(2) on health status in the Chinese floating *** present cross-sectional study evaluated the association of ambient NO_(2) with health status in a floating population in *** on 168961 floating individuals in 338 cities were obtained from the 2017 China Migrants Dynamic *** association between exposure to NO_(2) and self-related health(SRH)status was assessed by binary logistic regression analysis,both in the entire subject cohort and in subgroups assorted by socioeconomic levels and demographic *** robustness of the associations between NO_(2) exposure and health status was evaluated by sensitivity *** grade increment of annual average NO_(2) exposure was found to increase the risk of poor SRH by 2.4%in the floating population(odds ratio[OR]=1.024,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.011-1.038).When subgrouped by age,subjects in the floating population aged 31-49 years had the highest NO_(2) associated health risk(OR=1.036,95%CI:1.018-1.054).When subgrouped by per capita gross domestic product(PGDP),subjects in regions with mid-level PDGP had the highest NO_(2) associated SRH(OR=1.116,95%CI:1.091-1.i41).These findings indicated that exposure to NO_(2) increases the risk of poor SRH in the floating population,with individuals aged 31-49 years and those living in mid-level PGDP regions being more sensitive to the adverse effects of NO_(2).More effective strategies to reduce air pollution may improve the health status of the floatingpopulation in China.

The excellent optical properties of MXene provide new opportunities for short-pulse lasers. A diode-pumped passively Q-switched laser at 1.3 μm wavelength with MXene Ti3C2Tx as saturable absorber was achieved for the first time. The stable passively Q-switched laser has 454 ns pulse width and 162 kHz repetition rate at 4.5 W incident pumped power. The experimental results show that the MXene Ti3C2Tx saturable absorber can be used as an optical modulator to generate short pulse lasers in a solid-state laser field.

Dear Editor, Schisandra chinensis （Turcz.） Baill. belongs to family Schisandraceae. Its fruit called ＂Wu Wei Zi＂ in Chinese is a well-known medicinal material, which is used to treat chronic cough and dyspnea, nocturnal emission, enuresis, etc. （National Pharmacopoeia Committee, 2015）. Except for S. chinensis, many species of Schisandraceae, such as S. sphenanthera, S. lancifolia and S. rubriflora, are used as the original olants of folk medicines.

The microstructure and stress rupture properties of Inconel 706 alloy microalloyed with phosphorus are examined under stabilizing and unstabilizing heat treatment *** was found that applying the stabilizing treatment resulted in a 98% increment in the stress rupture life and a 215% increment in the elongation tested at 650℃/690 MPa for the alloy compared to that under the unstabilizing heat treatment *** stabilizing treatment led to the precipitation of rod-shaped and needle-shaped n phases at the grain *** of γ'-γ" co-precipitates in the grain interior were noncompact form and compact form for the alloy under unstabilizing and stabilizing heat treatment conditions,*** on the microstructure characterizations,the improvement of stress rupture properties by the stabilizing treatment was attributed to the precipitation of n phases at the grain boundaries,which can hinder cracks initiation and propagation and relieve the stress concentration.
