In situ probing of electron transfer at the dynamic MoS_(2)/graphene–water interface for modulating boundary slip

The boundary slip condition is pivotal for nanoscale fluid *** research has primarily focused on simulating the interaction mechanism between the electronic structure of two-dimensional materials and slip of water at the nanoscale,raising the possibility for ultralow friction flow of water at the ***,experimentally elucidating electronic interactions at the dynamic solid–liquid interface to control boundary slip poses a significant *** this study,the crucial role of electron structures at the dynamic solid–liquid interface in regulating slip length was ***,the slip length of water on the molybdenum disulfide/graphene(MoS_(2)/G)heterostructure(100.9±3.6 nm)significantly exceeded that of either graphene(27.7±2.2 nm)or MoS_(2)(5.7±3.1 nm)*** was also analyzed how electron transfer significantly affected interface *** electrons played a crucial role in determining the type and proportion of excitons at both MoS_(2)–water and MoS_(2)/G–water ***,by applying voltage,distinct photoluminescence(PL)responses at static and dynamic interfaces were discovered,achieving a 5-fold modulation in PL intensity and a 2-fold modulation in the trion to exciton intensity *** electrons transfer from the top graphene to the bottom MoS_(2)at the MoS_(2)/G–water interface,reducing surface charge ***,the reduction of electrostatic interactions between the solid and water leads to an increased slip length of water on the MoS_(2)/G *** process aids in comprehending the origin of frictional resistance at the subatomic *** work establishes a foundation for actively controlling and designing of fluid transport at the nanoscale.

Global adaptive output-feedback tracking with prescribed performance for uncertain nonlinear systems

At present, one typical control strategy for guaranteeing transient and steady-state performance is funnel control and prescribed performance control. The strategy features completely discarding the system nonlinearities, even if they are completely known and available. Such an intrinsic feature requires the controller to produce a larger control effect to eliminate the negative impact caused by the high nonlinearities, leading to a conservative controller. In this paper, we fully take advantage of known information on nonlinearities in control design, instead of completely discarding it as done in funnel control. Particularly, we leverage adaptive techniques(i.e., high-gain dynamic compensation) to deal with unknown system nonlinearities. Meanwhile, we integrate the tools of output feedback, tracking control, and the performance *** such, an adaptive output-feedback scheme is developed for global tracking with spatiotemporal performance specifications: arbitrarily given tracking accuracy and accuracy-ensured time. A simulation example supports the developed approach.

Approaching Ultimate Synthesis Reaction Rate of Ni-Rich Layered Cathodes for Lithium-Ion Batteries

Nickel-rich layered oxide LiNi_(x)Co_(y)MnzO_(2)(NCM,x+y+z=1)is the most promising cathode material for high-energy lithium-ion ***,conventional synthesis methods are limited by the slow heating rate,sluggish reaction dynamics,high energy consumption,and long reaction *** overcome these chal-lenges,we first employed a high-temperature shock(HTS)strategy for fast synthesis of the NCM,and the approaching ultimate reaction rate of solid phase transition is deeply investigated for the first *** the HTS process,ultrafast average reaction rate of phase transition from Ni_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)(OH)_(2) to Li-containing oxides is 66.7(%s^(-1)),that is,taking only 1.5 *** ultrahigh heating rate leads to fast reaction kinetics,which induces the rapid phase transition of NCM *** HTS-synthesized nickel-rich layered oxides perform good cycling performances(94%for NCM523,94%for NCM622,and 80%for NCM811 after 200 cycles at 4.3 V).These findings might also assist to pave the way for preparing effectively Ni-rich layered oxides for lithium-ion batteries.

Achieving Negatively Charged Pt Single Atoms on Amorphous Ni(OH)_(2)Nanosheets with Promoted Hydrogen Absorption in Hydrogen Evolution

Single-atom(SA)catalysts with nearly 100%atom utilization have been widely employed in electrolysis for decades,due to the outperforming catalytic activity and ***,most of the reported SA catalysts are fixed through the strong bonding between the dispersed single metallic atoms with nonmetallic atoms of the substrates,which greatly limits the controllable regulation of electrocatalytic activity of SA *** this work,Pt-Ni bonded Pt SA catalyst with adjustable electronic states was successfully constructed through a controllable electrochemical reduction on the coordination unsaturated amorphous Ni(OH)_(2)nanosheet *** on the X-ray absorption fine structure analysis and first-principles calculations,Pt SA was bonded with Ni sites of amorphous Ni(OH)_(2),rather than conventional O sites,resulting in negatively charged Pt^(δ-).In situ Raman spectroscopy revealed that the changed configuration and electronic states greatly enhanced absorbability for activated hydrogen atoms,which were the essential intermediate for alkaline hydrogen evolution *** hydrogen spillover process was revealed from amorphous Ni(OH)_(2)that effectively cleave the H-O-H bond of H_(2)O and produce H atom to the Pt SA sites,leading to a low overpotential of 48 mV in alkaline electrolyte at-1000 mA cm^(-2)mg^(-1)_(Pt),evidently better than commercial Pt/C *** work provided new strategy for the control-lable modulation of the local structure of SA catalysts and the systematic regulation of the electronic states.

该文给出了热带气旋暖心垂直倾斜度参数F_(TC-VGP)(TC vertical gradient parameter)的定义。使用卫星微波遥感的温度垂直分布以及热带气旋最佳路径数据等资料,对2009—2011年典型热带气旋的暖心垂直倾斜度进行计算,并研究其与气旋强度变化的关系。结果表明:暖心垂直倾斜度参数F_(TC-VGP)变化与气旋自身强度变化有较好的对应性,该参数的变化能够明显地指示气旋强度增强、减弱以及强度突变,能够指示环境场变化(冷空气侵入)等;其与气旋强度变化的周期不同,在强度增强或减弱阶段,倾斜度参数是经过快速适应性调整才完成了对热带气旋变化过程的贡献。因此,F_(TC-VGP)参数的计算和研究结果实现了对于热带气旋内部三维结构特征的定量描述,可以准确把握热带气旋强度和变化趋势,并对热带气旋的监测、预报具有一定业务参考价值。

Graphene reinforced nanoarchitectonics of 3D interconnected magnetic-dielectric frameworks for high-efficient and anti-corrosive microwave absorbers

The combination of high efficiency and environmental stability is vital to promote the commercial appli-cations of microwave absorption(MA)materials,yet remains challenging in the absence of facile ***,we put forward a graphene-reinforced construct approach for one-pot synthesis of 3D intercon-nected magnetic-dielectric frameworks via pre-functionalization and subsequent *** in-teractions among discrete precursors are capable of manipulating the confined growth and interfacial *** enhancements in MA properties are triggered in a straightforward manner us-ing ultralow feeding fractions of graphene oxide *** minimum reflection loss is up to-60.1 dB(99.9999%wave absorption)and the effective absorption bandwidth reaches 5.9 GHz(almost covering the Ku band).Remarkably,based on the optimization by ultralow concentrations of graphene,the as-prepared nanoarchitecture simultaneously integrates strong absorption,broad bandwidth,and low matching *** embedded graphene nanosheets serve as high-speed electron transmission channels and hollow resonance cavities,facilitating multimode attenuations and impedance-matching ***-while,the graphene-reinforced framework suppresses the corrosion of magnetic components,whose cor-rosion rate reduces by an order of *** study provides a simple procedure to boost magnetic-dielectric absorbers for comprehensive MA performances and enhanced corrosion resistance.

A novel silver-doped nickel oxide hole-selective contact for crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cells

Based on its band alignment,p-type nickel oxide(NiO_(x))is an excellent candidate material for hole transport layers in crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cells,as it has a smallΔEV and largeΔEC with crystalline ***,to overcome the poor hole selectivity of stoichiometric NiO_(x) due to its low carrier concentration and conductivity,silver-doped nickel oxide(NiO_(x):Ag)hole transport layers with high carrier concentrations were prepared by co-sputtering high-purity silver sheets and pure NiO_(x) *** improved electrical conductivity of NiO_(x) was attributed to the holes generated by the Ag^(+)substituents for Ni^(2+),and moreover,the introduction of Ag^(+)also increased the amount of Ni^(3+)present,both of which increased the carrier concentration in NiO_(x).Ag^(+)doping also reduced the c-Si/NiO_(x) contact resistivity and improved the hole-selective contact with NiO_(x).Furthermore,the problems of particle clusters and interfacial defects on the surfaces of NiO_(x):Ag films were solved by UV-ozone oxidation and high-temperature annealing,which facilitated separation and transport of carriers at the c-Si/NiO_(x) *** constructed c-Si/NiO_(x):Ag solar cell exhibited an increase in open-circuit voltage from 490 to 596 mV and achieved a conversion efficiency of 14.4%.
