Hand Hygiene among Anesthesiologists and Microorganisms Contamination in Anesthesia Environments:A Single-Center Observational Study

Objective To investigate the baseline levels of microorganisms’growth on the hands of anesthesiologists and in the anesthesia environment at a cancer hospital.Methods This study performed in nine operating rooms and among 25 anesthesiologists at a cancer hospital.Sampling of the hands of anesthesiologists and the anesthesia environment was performed at a ready-to-use operating room before patient contact began and after decontamination.Results Microorganisms’growth results showed that 20%(5/25)of anesthesiologists’hands carried microorganisms(>10 CFU/cm^(2))before patient contact began.Female anesthesiologists performed hand hygiene better than did their male counterparts,with fewer CFUs(P=0.0069)and fewer species(P=0.0202).Our study also found that 55.6%(5/9)of ready-to-use operating rooms carried microorganisms(>5 CFU/cm^(2)).Microorganisms regrowth began quickly(1 hour)after disinfection,and increased gradually over time,reaching the threshold at 4 hours after disinfection.Staphylococcus aureus was isolated from the hands of 20%(5/25)of anesthesiologists and 33.3%(3/9)of operating rooms.Conclusion Our study indicates that male anesthesiologists need to pay more attention to the standard operating procedures and effect evaluation of hand hygiene,daily cleaning rate of the operating room may be insufficient,and we would suggest that there should be a repeat cleaning every four hours.

Crystal Structures and Antimicrobial Activity of Two Phosphorus Compounds

One phosphorus heterocycle compound 1, C13H13N2OPS, was synthesized by the reaction of Lawesson＇s reagent （LR） with o-phenylene diamine. The crystal belongs to the orthorhombic system, space group P212121 with a = 5.5274（11）, b = 8.1603（16）, c = 28.830（6） A, V = 1300.4（4） A^3, Z = 4, Mr= 276.28, Dc = 1.411 g/cm^3, F（000） = 576,μ = 0.360 mm^-1, R = 0.0259 and wR = 0.0652 for 1414 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. While compound 2, C14H17N2O2PS, was obtained as a ring-cleavage product of compound 1. This crystal is of monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 9.5619（19）, b = 21.879（4）, c = 7.3618（15） A, β= 103.03（3）°, V=1500.4（5） A^3, Z = 4, Mr= 308.33, Dc = 1.365 g/cm^3, F（000） = 648,μ = 0.325 mm^-1, R = 0.0383 and wR =0.0742 for 2283 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. Phosphorus atom in each compound bonds with sulfur and carbon atoms using sp^3 hybrid orbitals, and crystals of these two compounds are formed and stabilized by intermolecular hydrogen bonds and Van der Waals＇ forces. The special structure of compound 1 leads to its good antimicrobial activity against staphylococcus aureus.

基于3Dmine与无人机倾斜摄影技术建立集成真实地表地貌、矿体及巷道的三维地质模型,结合Rhino6-FLAC3D建立矿体回采数值计算模型,对浅部岩层移动和地表变形的影响进行模拟分析,结合InSAR地表变形监测数据对模拟结果的有效性进行对比验证。结果表明:模拟结果与InSAR地表变形监测数据具有较好的一致性,表明基于多手段的数值建模计算与现场监测数据相结合的分析方法的有效性;对空场采矿法残留的采空区采用废石充填能够在有效控制空区围岩塑性区发展基础上维持充填体稳定性;矿区深部矿体的回采与充填可能对浅部已充填采场围岩的稳定性产生一定影响,浅部已充填采场受扰动严重程度与深部作业区域距离呈负相关;由InSAR监测数据和数值模拟结果可知,深部矿体回采扰动和浅部空区二次破坏对地表沉降影响较小.

Review on synergistic damage effect of irradiation and corrosion on reactor structural alloys

The synergistic damage effect of irradiation and corrosion of reactor structural materials has been a prominent research focus.This paper provides a comprehensive review of the synergistic effects on the third-and fourth-generation fission nuclear energy structural materials used in pressurized water reactors and molten salt reactors.The competitive mechanisms of multiple influencing factors,such as the irradiation dose,corrosion type,and environmental temperature,are summarized in this paper.Conceptual approaches are proposed to alleviate the synergistic damage caused by irradiation and corrosion,thereby promoting in-depth research in the future and solving this key challenge for the structural materials used in reactors.

In this paper,the irrational-behavior-proof conditions in a class of stochastic dynamic games over event trees are presented.Four kinds of irrational-behavior-proof conditions are proposed by the imputation distribution procedure,and their relationships are discussed.More specific properties for the general transformation of characteristic functions are developed,based on which,the irrational-behavior-proof conditions are proved to be true in a transformed cooperative game.

Treatment of hemolymphangioma by robotic surgery: A case report

BACKGROUND Hemolymphangioma of the jejunum is rare and lacks clinical specificity,and can manifest as gastrointestinal bleeding,abdominal pain,and intestinal obstruction.Computed tomography,magnetic resonance imaging,and other examinations show certain characteristics of the disease,but lack accuracy.Although capsule endoscopy and enteroscopy make up for this deficiency,the diagnosis also still re-quires pathology.CASE SUMMARY A male patient was admitted to the hospital due to abdominal distension and abdominal pain,but a specific diagnosis by computed tomography examination was not obtained.Partial resection of the small intestine was performed by robotic surgery,and postoperative pathological biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of hemo-lymphangioma.No recurrence in the follow-up examination was observed.CONCLUSION Robotic surgery is an effective way to treat hemolymphangioma through minima-lly invasive techniques under the concept of rapid rehabilitation.

Achieving Intrinsic Dual-Band Excitonic Luminescence from a Single Three-Dimensional Perovskite Nanoparticle Through Ni^(2+)-Mediated Halide Anion Exchange

Rapid halide anion exchange easily occurring in metal-halide perovskite nanoparticles(NPs)makes it nearly impossible to create a single three-dimensional(3D)CsPbX_(3)(X=Cl,Br,I)NP that simultaneously comprises two separate perovskite components.To circumvent this problem,we first propose a Ni^(2+)-mediated halide anion-exchange strategy in zero-dimensional(0D)Ni^(2+)-doped Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)(Cs_(4)PbBr_(6):Ni)perovskites to achieve ultra-stable 3D CsPbX_(3)NPs with two coexisting different perovskite individuals of CsPbCl_(3)and/or CsPbBr_(3).By combining the experimental results with first-principles calculations,we confirm that the completely isolated[PbBr_(6)]4−octahedra in 0D Cs_(4)PbBr_(6):Ni NPs can restrict rapid halide anion exchange and the anion diffusion preferentially proceeds in the proximity of substitutional NiPb centers,namely[NiBr_(6)]4−octahedra in a meta-stable state,rather than in the 0D Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)and residual 3D CsPbBr_(3)regions,thereby delivering intrinsic dual-band excitonic luminescence from a single 3D CsPbX_(3)NP with a more stable and efficient CsPbCl_(3)component as compared to its counterparts synthesized using conventional methods.These new insights regarding the precise control of halide anion exchange enable the preparation of a new type of high-efficiency perovskite materials with suppressed anion interdiffusion for prospective optoelectronic devices.

New process for treating boron-bearing iron ore by flash reduction coupled with magnetic separation

Boron is an important industrial raw material often sourced from minerals containing different compounds that cocrystallize,which makes it difficult to separate the mineral phases through conventional beneficiation.This study proposed a new treatment called flash reduction-melting separation(FRMS)for boron-bearing iron concentrates.In this method,the concentrates were first flash-reduced at the temperature under which the particles melt,and the slag and the reduced iron phases disengaged at the particle scale.Good reduc-tion and melting effects were achieved above 1550℃.The B_(2)O_(3) content in the separated slag was over 18wt%,and the B content in the iron was less than 0.03wt%.The proposed FRMS method was tested to investigate the effects of factors such as ore particle size and tem-perature on the reduction and melting steps with and without pre-reducing the raw concentrate.The mineral phase transformation and morphology evolution in the ore particles during FRMS were also comprehensively analyzed.

Effectively improving the extreme-pressure capacity of a class of intercalated zirconium phosphate materials

We studied different long-chain ammonium ions intercalated zirconium phosphate α-ZrP, methylamine intercalated ZrP(MAZrP), tetramethylammonium hydroxide intercalated ZrP(TMAH-ZrP), dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide intercalated ZrP(DTAB-ZrP), and stearyl trimethyl ammonium bromide intercalated ZrP(STAB-ZrP) as grease co-additives in combination with isobutylene sulfide(SIB). The grease with co-additives displayed excellent extreme-pressure and anti-wear performance.Moreover, the combination of the longest chain ammonium ion intercalated zirconium phosphate, STAB-ZrP/SIB, had the best tribological properties. In comparison to α-ZrP, the advantage of STAB-ZrP was that it did not form a large area of the dense physical film like α-ZrP on the worn surface, but rather gave the SIB a chance to contact with the fresh metal surface to generate a chemical film. Therefore, the sub-micron physical film and nanoscale chemical film always exist side by side on the contact surface during the friction process. This intercalated α-ZrP/SIB additive has great potential for use in harsh operating conditions.

A passive sampler for synchronously measuring inorganic and organic pollutants in sediment porewater:Configuration and field application

In situ measurement of multiple pollutants coexisting in sediment porewater is an essential step in comprehensively assessing the bioavailability and risk of pollutants,but to date,this needs to be better developed.In this study,a passive sampler,consisting of an“I-shaped”supporting frame and inorganic/organic sampling units,incorporating equilibrium dialysis theory and kinetic/equilibrium sorption principle,was developed for the synchronous measurement of inorganic(e.g.,phosphorus and metal(loid)s)and organic pollutants(e.g.,parent and substituted PAHs).The equilibrium time and sampling rates were explored in laboratory tests to support in situ application.Profiles of pollutants in porewater within a vertical resolution of centimeters,i.e.,1 cm and 2 cm for inorganic and organic pollutants,respectively,were obtained by field deployment of the sampler for further estimation of diffusive fluxes across the sediment-water interface.The results suggested that the role of sediments for a specific pollutant may change(e.g.,from“sink”to“source”)during the sampling time.This study demonstrated the feasibility of synchronous measurement of inorganic and organic pollutants in sediment porewater by the passive sampler.In addition,it provided new insight for further investigation into the combined pollution effects of various pollutants in sediments.
