Urea oxidation reaction(UOR)is proposed as an exemplary half-reaction in renewab.e energy applications b.cause of its low thermodynamical ***,challenges persist due to sluggish reaction kinetics and complex b.-products *** this end,we introduce the lattice oxygen oxidation mechanism(LOM),propelling a novel UOR route using a modified CoFe layered doub.e hydroxide(LDH)catalyst termed *** calculations and in-situ characterizations highlight the activated lattice oxygen(O_(L))within CFRO-7 as pivotal sites for UOR,optimizing the reaction pathway and accelerating the *** the urea overall electrolysis application,the LOM route only requires a low voltage of 1.54 V to offer a high current of 100 mA cm^(-2) for long-term utilization(>48 h).Importantly,the b.-product NCO^(-)−is significantly suppressed,while the CO_(2)2/N_(2) separation is efficiently *** work proposed a pioneering paradigm,invoking the LOM pathway in urea electrolysis to expedite reaction dynamics and enhance product selectivity.

Viral myocarditis(VMC)is one of the most common acquired heart diseases in children and ***,its pathogenesis is still unclear,and effective treatments are *** study aimed to investigate the regulatory pathway b. which exosomes alleviate ferroptosis in cardiomyocytes(CMCs)induced b. coxsackievirus b.(CVb.).CVb. was utilized for inducing the VMC mouse model and cellular *** echocardiography,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),and left ventricular fractional shortening(LVFS)were implemented to assess the cardiac *** CVb.-induced VMC mice,cardiac insufficiency was ob.erved,as well as the altered levels of ferroptosis-related indicators(glutathione) peroxidase 4(GPX4),glutathione(GSH),and malondialdehyde(MDA).However,exosomes derived from human umb.lical cord mesenchymal stem cells(hucMSCs-exo)could restore the changes caused b. Non-b.form DNA is associated with centromere stab.lity in newly-formed polyploid wheat

Non-b.form DNA differs from the classic b.DNA doub.e helix structure and plays a crucial regulatory role in replication and ***,the role of non-b.form DNA in centromeres,especially in polyploid wheat,remains ***,we systematically analyzed seven non-b.form DNA motif profiles(A-phased DNA repeat,direct repeat,G-quadruplex,inverted repeat,mirror repeat,short tandem repeat,and Z-DNA)in hexaploid *** found that three of these non-b.form DNA motifs were enriched at centromeric regions,especially at the CENH3-b.nding sites,suggesting that non-b.form DNA may create a favorab.e loading environment for the CENH3 *** investigate the dynamics of centromeric non-b.form DNA during the alloploidization process,we analyzed DNA secondary structure using CENH3 ChIP-seq data from newly formed allotetraploid wheat and its two diploid *** found that newly formed allotetraploid wheat formed more non-b.form DNA in centromeric regions compared with their parents,suggesting that non-b.form DNA is related to the localization of the centromeric regions in newly formed ***,non-b.form DNA enriched in the centromeric regions was found to preferentially form on young LTR retrotransposons,explaining CENH3's tendency to b.nd to younger ***,our study describ.s the landscape of non-b.form DNA in the wheat genome,and sheds light on its potential role in the evolution of polyploid centromeres.

Surface engineering,which modulates the electronic structure and adsorption/desorption properties of electrocatalysts,is one of the key strategies for improving the catalytic ***,we demonstrate a facile solid-phase reaction for surface engineering of MnO_(2)to b.ost the oxygen reduction *** reaction with surface hydroxy groups,La single atoms with loading amount up to 2.7 wt%are anchored onto a-MnO_(2)*** surface engineering,the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)kinetics is significantly improved with the half-wave potential from 0.70 to 0.84 V,the numb.r of transferred electrons from 2.5 to 3.9 and the limiting current density from 4.8 to 6.0 mA·cm^(-2).In addition,the catalyst delivers superior discharge performance in b.th alkaline and neutral metal–air *** functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that atomic La modulates the surface electronic configuration of MnO_(2),reduces its d-b.nd center and thus lowers the OOH*and O*reaction energy *** work provides a new route for rational design of highly active electrocatalyst and holds great potential for application in various catalytic reactions.

The multi-color imaging sky survey conducted b. the China Space Station Telescope(CSST)holds significant promise for advancing the development of the celestial reference *** this study,we focus on assessing the astrometric performance of the CSST celestial reference frame(CSST-CRF)in extending the Gaia Celestial Reference Frame 3(Gaia-CRF3).First,the orientation precision of the CSST reference frame is evaluated using a simulated set of extragalactic sources with CSST g magnitudes ranging from 18 to 25 *** estimated orientation uncertainty caused b. random error insignificantly affects the alignment b.tween Gaia-CRF3 and the ***,the systematic effect of incomplete CSST sky coverage on the alignment b.tween CSST-CRF and Gaia-CRF3 is discussed b. analyzing the differences b.tween the sub.et of Gaia-CRF3 in the CSST ob.ervation region(Gaia-CRF3′)and Gaia-CRF3 as a *** the third International Celestial Reference Frame(ICRF3)S/X b.nd as an intermediate reference frame,the orientation offset b.tween Gaia-CRF3′and GaiaCRF3 is estimated to b. 20μ*** offset is marginally larger than the orientation offset b.tween Gaia-CRF3 and the ICRF3,approximately 15μ*** residual spin and glide rate of Gaia-CRF3′are derived from the proper motions,consistent with that of Gaia-CRF3 within the formal ***,we explore the role of CSST in estab.ishing a multi-b.nd celestial reference frame b. comparing its limiting magnitude and ob.ervation accuracy with existing catalogs in the infrared and ultraviolet *** to its b.oad wavelength coverage and highprecision measurements,CSST is well-positioned to make significant contrib.tions to the development of a multib.nd celestial reference frame.

Traditional transgenic detection methods require high test conditions and struggle to b. b.th sensitive and *** this study,a one-tub. dual recomb.nase polymerase amplification(RPA)reaction system for CP4-EPSPS and Cry1Ab.Ac was proposed and comb.ned with a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay,named“Dual-RPA-LFD”,to visualize the dual detection of genetically modified(GM)*** which,the herb.cide tolerance gene CP4-EPSPS and the insect resistance gene Cry1Ab.Ac were selected as targets taking into account the current status of the most widespread application of insect resistance and herb.cide tolerance traits and their stacked *** diluted plasmids,transgenic standards,and actual samples were used as templates to conduct sensitivity,specificity,and practicality assays,*** constructed method achieved the visual detection of plasmid at levels as low as 100 copies,demonstrating its high *** addition,good applicab.lity to transgenic samples was ob.erved,with no cross-interference b.tween two test lines and no influence from other *** conclusion,this strategy achieved the expected purpose of simultaneous detection of the two popular targets in GM crops within 20 min at 37°C in a rapid,equipmentfree field manner,providing a new alternative for rapid screening for transgenic assays in the field.
