A Cu-10wt%Fe composite was prepared through hot-pressed sintering,and the material was subsequently solution *** hot-pressed sintered and solution treated materials were rolled and *** precipitation behavior and performance changes were systematically studied by using scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron *** contrast to the hot-pressed sintered specimen,the solution treatment significantly affects the thermal stability and properties of the Cu-10wt%Fe *** Cu-10wt%Fe composite was prepared after solid solution,cold rolling and aging at 773 K for 1 h,and it obtained excellent tensile strength of 494 mPa,uniform elongation of 16.3%,electrical conductivity of 51.1%IACS and softening temperature of 838 *** for the distinct difference in thermal stability and properties between hot-pressed sintered and solution treated specimens were *** findings provide a theoretical basis for designing high-performance Cu-based in-situ composites by post treatment.

The poor corrosion and wear resistances of mg alloys seriously limit their potential applications in various *** conventional epoxy coating easily forms many intrinsic defects during the solidification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a double-layer epoxy composite coating on mg alloy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assembly *** outer layer is functionalized graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner layer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be homogeneously dispersed within the epoxy matrix to fill the intrinsic defects and improve the barrier *** Ce film connects the outer layer with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times lower than that of bare mg alloy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attributed to the labyrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the obstruction of galvanic coupling *** synergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and blocking layer exhibits great potential in realizing the improvement of multi-functional integration,which will open up a new avenue for the development of novel composite protection coatings of mg alloys.

In this study,the high-temperature stability and the generation mechanism of the Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC)effect in solid-solution mg-1Al-12y alloy with different heat treatment processes were investigated by adjusting the content of long-period stacking ordered(LPSO)*** was found that the content of LPSO phases in the alloys differed the most after heat treatment at 530℃for 16 h and 24 h,with values of 13.56%and 3.93%***,high-temperature tensile experiments were conducted on these two alloys at temperatures of 150℃,200℃,250℃,and 300℃.The results showed that both alloys exhibited the PLC effect at temperatures ranging from 150 to 250℃.However,at a temperature 300℃,only the alloy with a greater concentration of LPSO phases exhibited the PLC effect,whereas the alloy with a lower proportion of LPSO phases did not exhibit this ***,both alloys exhibited remarkable high-temperature stability,with the alloy containing a greater percentage of LPSO phases also demonstrating superior *** underlying mechanism for this phenomenon lies in the exceptional high-temperature stability exhibited by the second phase within the ***,the LPSO phase effectively obstructs the movement of dislocations,and it also undergoing kinking to facilitate plastic deformation of the *** results indicate that the PLC effect can be suppressed by reducing dislocation pile-up at grain boundaries,which leads to a decrease in alloy plasticity but an increase in *** presence of the PLC effect in the WA121 alloy is attributed to the abundant dispersed second phase within the alloy,which initially hinders the movement of dislocations,leading to an increase in stress,and subsequently releases the dislocations,allowing them to continue their movement and thereby reducing in stress.

A calibration and compensation method for an industrial robot with high accuracy harmonic reducers

Industrial serial robots need high stiffness to keep absolute pose accuracy and meet the requirements in practical applications. However, the weak stiffness feature of robot joints and the payloads affected on robot end-effector, which will also increase the pose error of robot. Especially, the existing calibration methods often consider under no-payload condition without discussing the payload state. In this paper, we report a new industrial serial robot composed by a new harmonic reducer: model-y, based on high accuracy and high stiffness, and a kinematic parameter calibration algorithm which is based on a harmonic reducer forcedeformation model. To decrease the accuracy effects of payload, an iterative calibration method for kinematic parameters with payload situation was proposed. Simulation and experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed calibration method using the self-developed industrial serial robot. The results show a remarkably improved accuracy in absolute position and orientation with the robot's payload range. The position mean error has 70% decreased to 0.1 mm and the orientation mean error diminished to less than 0.01° after calibration with compensation. Additionally, online linear and circular tests are carried out to evaluate the position error of the robot during large-scale spatial and low-speed continuous movement. The accuracy is consistent with the previous calibration results, indicating the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed strategy in this article.

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are promising materials for thermometers based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)***,at high Nd^(3+)concentrations,energy transfer(ET)processes such as optical reabsorption and cross-relaxation can affect the Nd^(3+)emission,which has been little explored in the ***,the present work investigated the use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(samples doped with Nd^(3+)at 0.2 mol%,0.5 mol%,2.0 mol%,and 4.0 mol%)in fluorescence thermometers,in the temperature range from 299 to 371 *** results indicate a strong dependence of the FIR parameters on the Nd^(3+)concentration,due to changes in the emission band profiles caused by optical reabsorption of the Nd^(3+)emissions and cross-relaxation processes.A decrease of the relative sensitivity of the ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for samples doped with higher amounts of Nd^(3+).The maximum relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,which is the highest value among the reported Nd^(3+)ions.

Directional amine-based solvent extraction for simultaneous enhanced water recovery,salt separation and effective descaling from hypersaline brines

The feasibility of simultaneous water recovery,salt separation and effective descaling of hypersaline brine was investigated by diisopropylamine(DIPA)-based directional solvent extraction(DSE),using diluted/concentrated seawater with initial saline concentration range of 12–237 g/L at extraction temperatures of 5 and 15℃,*** water recovery shows an obvious boundary at saline concentration of 115 g/L under dual effect of specific water extraction efficiency and extraction *** Cl^(–) ion concentration in product water is in sharp contrast to the nearly complete removal of SO_(4)^(2–)and hardness ions,indicating that DIPA-based DSE process indeed achieved efficient separation and purification of Cl^(–) ion from hypersaline ***,the radical precipitation of mg^(2+)and Ca^(2+)ions in form of mg(OH)_(2)and CaCO_(3)demonstrates effective descaling potential,although it leads to more DIPA residues in dewatered raffinate than product ***,an exponential correlation between the Cl^(–) removal efficiency and specific water extraction efficiency further reveals the intrinsic relationship of water extraction process and transfer of Cl^(–) ion to the product ***,the study provides a novel approach for integrating the water recovery and separation of Cl^(–) ion from ultra-high-salinity brines with radical precipitation of mg^(2+)and Ca^(2+) ions in one step.

For a nilpotent group G without pi-torsion, and x, y is an element of G , if x(n) = y(n) for a pi-number n, then x=y ; if x(m) y(n) = y(n) x(m) for pi-numbers m, n, then xy = yx . This is a well-known result in group theory. In this paper, we prove two analogous theorems on matrices, which have independence significance. Specifically, let m be a given positive integer and A a complex square matrix satisfying that (i) all eigenvalues of A are nonnegative, and (ii) rank A(2) = rank A; then A has a unique m-th root X with rank X-2 = rank X , all eigenvalues of X are nonnegative, and moreover there is a polynomial f( lambda) with X = f (A). In addition, let A and B be complex nxn matrices with all eigenvalues nonnegative, and rank A(2) = rank A, rank B-2 = rank B; then (i) A=B when A (R) = B (R) for some positive integer r, and (ii) AB = BA when A(s) B-t = B-t A(s) for two positive integers s and t.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), characterized by hepatic steatosis, is a common metabolic liver disease worldwide. Currently, satisfactory drugs for NAFLD treatment remain lacking. Obesity and diabetes are the leading causes of NAFLD, and compounds with anti-obesity and anti-diabetic activities are considered suitable candidates for treating NAFLD. In this study, biochemical and histological assays revealed that a natural lignan schisanhenol (SAL) effectively decreased lipid accumulation and improved hepatic steatosis in free fatty acid (FFA)-treated HepG2 cells and high-fat diet (HFD)-induced NAFLD mice. Further, molecular analyses, microRNA (miRNA)-seq, and bioinformatics analyses revealed that SAL m.y.improve NAFLD by targeting the miR-802/adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AmPK) pathway. Liver-specific overexpression of miR-802 in NAFLD mice significantly impaired SAL-mediated liver protection and decreased the protein levels of phosphorylated (p)-AmPK and PRKAB1. Dual-luciferase assay analysis further confirmed that miR-802 inhibits hepatic AmPK expression by binding to the 3' untranslated region of mouse Prkab1 or human PRKAA1. Additionally, genetic silencing of PRKAA1 blocked SAL-induced AmPK pathway activation in FFA-treated HepG2 cells. The results demonstrate that SAL is an effective drug candidate for treating NAFLD through regulating miR-802/AmPK-mediated lipid metabolism. © 2024 The Authors
