This study aimed to establish a rapid analytical method to determine antioxidants in essence. A simple,efficient and practical, vortex-assisted, cloud-point extraction（VACPE） procedure is proposed for extracting and pre-concentrating four different of synthetic phenolic antioxidants（SPAs）, propyl gallate（PG）, tert-butylhydroquinone（TBHQ）, butylated hydroxyanisole（BHA）, butylated hydroxytoluene（BHT） in essence prior to high performance liquid chromatography（HPLC） analysis. The non-ionic surfactant, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether-9（AEO-9）, was used as extractant and vortex-mixing was utilized to reduce extraction time and improve extraction efficiency. The effective parameters of the extraction process, such as volume of extraction solvent, pH, vortex-mixing time, equilibration temperature and time, were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the linear range of PG, TBHQ,BHA and BHT was 8.0–800 ng/mL. All correlation coefficients of the calibration curves were higher than0.996 and relative standard deviations（RSD, n = 5） were 2.36%–5.46%. The proposed method was successfully applied to the extraction and determination of antioxidants in essence samples with satisfactory relative recoveries of 89.4%–103.5%. The results confirmed the SPAs of essence could be effectively monitored by this method and also established good reference criteria for essence.

Objective: To explore the effect and mechanism of microRNA-208a(mi R-208a) in the mitochondrial apoptosis of cardiomyocytes of neonatal rats. Methods: The primary cultured cardiomyocytes of neonatal rats were added into the hypoxia incubator for the hypoxia induction. The overexpression system for mi R-208 a of cardiomyocytes of neonatal rats was built. The l ow cytometry assay was employed to detect the incidence of apoptosis in the overexpressed mi R-208 a. The mitochondrial staining technique was used to detect the change in the mitochondrial morphology of over-expressed mi R-208 a. The bioinformatic analysis was chosen to analyze and predict the target gene of mi R-208 a. Results: Firstly, the primary culture system of cardiomyocytes of neonatal rats was successfully built. The mi R-208 a was over-expressed in cardiomyocytes of neonatal rats by mi R-208 a Mimics. Results of flow cytometry assay showed that the over-expressed mi R-208 a could signii cantly reduce the incidence of apoptosis; while results of mitochondrial staining indicated the change in the mitochondrial morphology of over-expressed mi R-208 a and the mitochondrialfission process was inhibited. In conclusion, it was supposed that mi R-208 a could inhibit the activation of mitochondrialfission process to keep the cardiomyocytes from apoptosis. Conclusions: The over-expressed mi R-208 a can reduce the incidence of apoptosis in the cardiomyocytes of neonatal rats, signii cantly change the mitochondrial morphology and inhibit the mitochondrial fission process.

Numerical study on the effective thermal conductivity and thermal tortuosity of porous media with different morphologies

Effective thermal conductivity and thermal tortuosity are crucial parameters for evaluating the effectiveness of heat conduction within porous *** direct pore-scale numerical simulation method is applied to investigate the heat conduction processes inside porous structures with different *** thermal conduction performances of idealized porous structures are directly compared with real foams across a wide range of *** foam structures are reconstructed using X-ray computed tomography and image processing techniques,while Kelvin and Weaire-Phelan structures are generated through periodic unit cell *** detailed temperature fields inside the porous structures are determined by solving the heat conduction equation at the pore *** results present that the equivalent thermal conductivity of Kelvin and Weaire-Phelan structures is similar to and greater than that of the real foam structure with the same strut *** thermal tortuosity of real foam structure is relatively larger and the heat conduction path becomes straighter by adopting the anisotropic *** thermal tortuosity of the fluid channels for Kelvin,Weaire-Phelan,and real foam structures is close to *** thermal conductivity of porous structures with heat transfer fluid increases as the thermal conductivity ratio of fluid to solid becomes larger.A small porosity of porous media leads to a larger equivalent thermal conductivity due to the dominant contribution of porous skeleton in the heat conduction *** derived from parallel and series models,as well as the Maxwell-Eucken models,provide decent predictions of effective thermal conductivity,with an average error of less than 8%in the entire range of thermal conductivity ratio.

The hazards of fault reactivation caused by fluid injection are a growing ***,traditional evaluation methods of fault stability are likely to underestimate the risk in fault segments with a high clay ***,an extended evaluation method of fault stability(ECPP)incorporating the heterogeneity in friction strength caused by variation in the clay content within the fault zone is established in this *** characterizing the current stress field of the BZ34-2 Oilfield in the Huanghekou Sag,Bohai Bay Basin,the reactivation potential of faults is evaluated using both traditional and ECPP *** evaluation of fault stability shows that all faults are stable in the present stress *** oriented ENE have a relatively high *** maximum sustainable fluid pressure Δp is approximately 8.8-8.9 MPa and 9.3-9.9 *** considering the heterogeneity in fault friction strength,the fault stability is clearly controlled by the clay content of the *** high-risk fault segments assessed using traditional methods are no longer obvious,which reflects the importance of incorporating friction strength heterogeneity in the process of fault ***,the results also show that most fault segments are activated when the fault zone is dominated by montmorillonite,reflecting the strong influence of clay mineral types on fault *** factors influencing the heterogeneity of fault friction strength are very complicated in actual ***,future work should focus on establishing a database through a large number of experiments and investigating the relationship between the friction coefficient and the main controlling factors.

Most major oil zones in the Daqing Oilfield have reached a later,high water cut stage,but oil recovery is still only approximately 35%,and 50%of reserves remain to be *** remaining oil is primarily distributed at the edge of faults,in poor sand bodies,and in insufficiently injected and produced ***,the edge of faults is a major target for remaining oil enrichment and potential *** on the dynamic change of production from development wells determined by the injection-recovery relationship at the edge of faults,we analyzed the control of structural features of faults on remaining oil enrichment at the *** results show that the macroscopic structural features and their geometric relationship with sand bodies controlled remaining oil enrichment zones like the edges of NNE-striking faults,the footwalls of antithetic faults,the hard linkage segments（two faults had linked together with each other to form a bigger through-going fault）,the tips of faults,and the oblique anticlines of soft *** edges formed two types of forward microamplitude structures：（1） the tilted uplift of footwalls controlled by inverse fault sections and（2） the hanging-wall horizontal anticlines controlled by synthetic fault *** remaining oil distribution was controlled by microamplitude ***,such zones as the tilted uplift of the footwall of the NNW-striking antithetic faults with a fault throw larger than 40 m,the hard linkage segments,the tips of faults,and the oblique anticlines of soft linkage were favorable for tapping the remaining oil ***-target directional drilling was used for remaining oil development at fault *** fault spacing was determined on the basis of fault combinations and width of the shattered *** core and log data revealed that the width of the shattered zone on the side of the fault core was less than 15 m in general;therefore,the distance from a fault to the development target

Based on the in-situ self-reduction and chemical stability,graphdiyne(GDY)and graphdiyne oxide(GDYO)are used as trapping agents to investigate the ability for recovering Au^(3+),Ag^+,and Pd^(2+)under different pH values and interfering *** strong acidity at pH=1,these two agents demonstrate high select recovery towards the three precious metal ions,which could be insitu reduced to nanoparticles(NPs).In addition,superparamagnetic Fe_(3)O_(4)NPs are deposited on the surfaces of GDY and *** magnetic responses enable GDYFe_(3)O_(4)to recover precious metals conveniently and efficiently by the aid of an external magnetic *** study also confirms the antibacterial activity of the as-recovered NPs deposited on GDY and GDYO against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus(1×10^(5)colony-forming unit(CFU)·mL^(-1)),and the antibacterial rates are 100%.This strategy of recovering precious metals and subsequently reusing to combat pathogens will be of great significance for environmental remediation and biomedical applications.

Spinel-type cathodes are considered an optimal substitute for conventional layered oxide cathodes owing to their use of inexpensive and earth-abundant manganese as the redox-active ***,the introduction of cation disorder can effectively suppress the detrimental two-phase reaction to realize high capacities in a wide voltage ***,the continuous capacity decay during cycles has hindered the widespread application of these cathode *** fluorides exhibit excellent electrochemical stability at high voltage;therefore,in this study,the direct F2 gas reaction with a partially disordered spinel cathode(Li_(1.6)Mn_(1.6)O_(3.7)F_(0.3,)LMOF1.6)was initially applied to investigate the impacts of fluorination on the surface structure and electrochemical *** inorganic fluorinated layer,mainly containing LiF,was distributed uniformly on the surface of LMOF1.6nanoparticles after fluorination for an appropriate time without the turbulence caused by the valency of manganese cation,which improved the capacity retention and rate capability by the suppression of structural damage,parasitic reaction,and cation *** LMOF1.6cathode fluorinated for 0.5 h exhibited a capacity of283.6 mAh·g^(-1)at 50 mA·g^(-1)and an enhanced capacity retention of 29.6%after 50 cycles in the voltage range of1.5-4.8 V,as compared to the pristine LMOF1.6 with only27.9%capacity retention.

Hybrid metal-organic framework(MOF)derivatives play a significant role in the novel catalyst development in energy conversion ***,we demonstrated the low-temperature fully fluorinated zeolitic imidazole framework(ZIF)coupled with a three-dimensional open framework Prussian blue analog(PBA)with combined advantages for electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in water splitting *** spectroscopic analysis and the electrochemical studies revealed the combined advantages of efficient electronic effect and active site *** of good conductivity improvement by Ndoped carbon derived from ZIF and the high electrochemical surface area and active site exposure from PBA derivatives,good catalytic performance was obtained on the optimal catalyst of Co Ni ZIF/Co Fe-PBAF-300,which required a low overpotential of 250 m V to reach 10 m A/cm^(2)loaded on the glassy carbon electrode,with Tafel slope of 47.4 m V/dec,and very high dynamic and steady *** addition,the multi-component with the mixed structure from highly polar metal fluorides promoted the easy formation of the active phase as revealed by the post-sample *** current results showed a novel composite catalyst materials development from the hybrid MOF derivatives,which would be promising in the electrolysis of water oxidation reactions and energy-relevant catalysis reactions.

Exact analytical solutions are good candidates for studying and explaining the dynamics of solitons in nonlinear *** further extend the region of existence of spin solitons in the nonlinearity coefficient space for the spin-1 Bose-Einstein *** types of spin soliton solutions can be obtained,and they exist in different *** analysis and numerical simulation results indicate that three types of spin solitons are stable against weak *** non-integrable properties of the model can induce shape oscillation and increase in speed after the collision between two spin *** results further enrich the soliton family for non-integrable models and can provide theoretical references for experimental studies.

Most flapping-wing aircraft wings use a single degree of freedom to generate lift and thrust by flapping up and down,while relying on the tail control surfaces to manage ***,these aircraft have certain limitations,such as poor accuracy in attitude control and inadequate roll control *** paper presents a design for an active torsional mechanism at the wing's trailing edge,which enables differential variations in the pitch angle of the left and right wings during *** simple mechanical form significantly enhances the aircraft's roll control *** experimental verification of this mechanism was conducted in a wind tunnel using the RoboEagle flapping-wing aerial vehicle that we *** study investigated the effects of the control strategy on lift,thrust,and roll moment during flapping ***,the impact of roll control on roll moment was examined under various wind speeds,flapping frequencies,angles of attack,and wing ***,several rolling maneuver flight tests were performed to evaluate the agility of RoboEagle,utilizing both the elevon control strategy and the new roll control *** results demonstrated that the new roll control strategy effectively enhances the roll control capability,thereby improving the attitude control capabilities of the flapping-wing aircraft in complex wind field *** conclusion is supported by a comparison of the control time,maximum roll angle,average roll angular velocity,and other relevant parameters between the two control strategies under identical roll control input.
